About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was always surrounded by pets. About: I have been fostering for over 15 years and petsitting for about 5 of those years. I took a break for some time when I moved to Texas, and then the pandemic added to that. Most recently, I was taking care of my grandmothers dog.. essentially a hospice situation, and spent most of my time loving up on him. Since his passing, I would love to get back into it so can provide care and love. I’m used to all breeds, but have the most experience with bully breeds chihuahuas, and most medium size breeds like shitzhus, Maltese’s, and schnauzers. Very comfortable providing oral or topical ointments.. nothing really grosses me out. I enjoy providing baths and making sure your furry friend is feeling their best. Especially for my dirty white dogs with the crusty eyes (lol)! Overall, I treat every pet that walks into my life like it were my own. I take pride in knowing that I’m giving someone’s pet lots of love and care while their owner is away. I want them to feel like they’re hanging with a friend and try to alleviate any stress. Leaving your baby for any period of time is tough, so knowing you have someone you can trust to be an extension of you is all I want. I lost my job recently, so I’ll have a lot more time for walks, feedings, and of course cuddle time with the puppies. My current house currently boasts four cats of various ages, from kittens to an old lady, and a young Australian Shepherd mix. Because of this, I'm very comfortable with both cats, dogs, and households that have multiple pets. I've also spent a large part of my life caring for senior animals and pets who need a little extra attention. I've managed medications, special diets, frequent potty breaks, and other individualized care, including caring for a previous dog with a seizure disorder. My approach to pet care is to meet each animal where they are. I love matching their energy, whether that means a long walk and plenty of playtime, some quiet companionship, or simply giving a shy pet the time and space they need to become comfortable with me. About: I am currently pursuing my masters degree online, in Criminal investigations. I graduated in 2023 with my Bachelors from Temple University in Philly. I have owned a dog ever since I was little, I have had a pitbull, a teacup yorkie, & currently have a french bulldog and a shih tzu. Due to my French Bulldog being territorial, I can't provide boarding in my home at this time. Pet care fits in my daily routine as I already care for 2 dogs at home, and have free time to get out of the house and care for more dogs:) The dogs are able to do whatever they want inside, and sit on the furniture as well, for the over night boarding dogs I allow some to sleep on my bed, unless the owner prefers for them to be crated at night time. As long as they are potty trained they can be on my bed.
