“Anny was wonderful with our dog Simba! She was kind, polite, and professional from start to finish. We especially appreciated the frequent updates and photos she sent while we were away — it gave us total peace of mind. Simba came home happy and healthy, which says it all. We would absolutely book Anny again and highly recommend her to any pet parents.”

“Isbath was great with my dog. Precious is highly skittish and tends to have a hard time adapting to new environments, but she was fantastic with Isbath. She ate, played, walked and had no problem sleeping through the night while in her care. I got numerous updates, pictures, and videos, of my dog being her relaxed and playful self. She always looked so happy and content. Would highly recommend Isbath and will most definitely be using her again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my little one!”

“Jaime was wonderful with our shy little girl. She took great care to help her feel secure during her first stay away from home and kept us well informed. We have booked a longer stay with her.”

About: I work from home 5 days a week which will allow your dog to get constant attention and love. Having cared for my own dog I understand how difficult it is to leave with someone else. I currently work from home 5 days a week and will be able to attend to your dogs needs. I can take them out for plenty of potty breaks. Since I work from home your dog will get plenty of attention. I live in a very dog friendly community that is great for walks. I will always keep your dog on a secure leash whenever outdoors.
“My little fella Mylo.. felt at home right away when he visited Ginnette. Ginnette was so caring, patient and knew exactly what Mylo needed. He is a picky eater and she worked around his moods to get him to eat and that was a big relief for me. Thank you for being so amazing and keeping me updated with pictures and videos. Mylo felt so loved.. we will definitely visit again.”

“This was the first time since my boys were born in 2018 that they were dogsat by anyone else other than family and it was perfect. Bonnie and her family were fantastic. They kept my boys comfortable while I was away for a week and kept in constant touch to give updates and adorable photos so I could see how they were doing throughout the day. 100% would rebook in the future. Thanks Bonnie and Yee!”

“We are so happy we chose Tom to look after Fluffy. He was very professional and kept us posted with pictures. Fluffy is an anxious dog, but Tom made her feel right at home—even letting her sleep on the bed and hang out on the couch. He also let us do a meet-and-greet the day before, which was very helpful. We will definitely be booking with Tom again.”

“Thanks again Jessica for looking after Freya everytime we are away and making sure she is happy. We feel blessed to know that Freya is having fun and we can travel guilt free 😊”

“Nan was absolutely amazing. This was my first time ever leaving my dog, who is very anxious without me, and she went above and beyond to make me feel completely comfortable. She sent so many pictures and videos, which truly put my mind at ease. Nan was so loving, patient, and caring, and it was clear my dog felt safe and happy with her. Thanks to Nan, I finally feel like I can enjoy work or personal trips without constant worry. I can’t wait to use her again and would recommend her without hesitation.”

“Margarita did an outstanding job taking care of our dog for a week. She’s extremely caring and treated our dog like part of her family. She communicated with me while we were traveling so I had regular updates and photos/videos. I can’t recommend her enough and will definitely use her services again.”

“Alice was great. Sparky was so happy with her and comfortable that he almost did not see me when I came to pick him up. Would definitely recommend and we would be working with her again”

“We were very pleasantly surprised by how professional, kind, and attentive this couple was while caring for our dogs. Since we’re not from the Northeast, we were a little nervous about leaving our pups in an unfamiliar area, but they immediately put our minds at ease. They were incredibly welcoming, communicative, and genuinely caring. We felt confident that our dogs were in great hands, and we’ll absolutely book with them again the next time we’re in the area. Absolutely recommend!”

“Jalisa was great and treated our dog like one of her own. She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures, and was flexible with changes to the pick-up/drop time. This was our first time using Rover and she absolutely eased any worries I had. I highly recommend her and our dog will definitely be back!”

“This is now the 4th time Ekaterina and her family have baby sat for my girl, Loretta. Loretta is very nervous and has really bad separation anxiety. But Ekaterina and her family are always so wonderful with her! With them, I never have to worry about Loretta when my family and I go away; she is in perfect hands! I get constant updates and pictures. She’s taken for walks constantly and I get updated on it all. Ekaterina, I say this all the time, but you and your family are such a blessing to us! You are our forever sitter! ♥️”

About: I have been taking care of my own pet budgie. I have also taken care of my neighbor's pet turtle for over 8 times. They find me as responsible as I continue to take care of their pet when needed. At my parents house, I would take care of our dog like taking the dog on walks and feeding treats along with some playing. Everyday, I check if my pet is doing well. I make sure the food is filled and water is clean. I check these basic needs every day as well as playing with my pet. When I take care of my neighbor's turtle, I provide the given amount of food. I also play with it as I trace my finger along the glass. I make sure everything is fine with the turtle.
“Raj is an excellent dog sitter. Raj easy going, paying attention to detail and accommodating. Raj kept sending pictures and updates throughout the stay. Will book again, no doubt.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bound Brook
Amazing all around. First of all, I got a response immediately. Second of all, they have such a good handle on dogs. They know dogs well, are clearly comfortable with different types of personalities and how to work around it. And lastly, the communication before and throughout is clear and regular. I for pictures sent to me daily with brief highlights. You can genuinely tell they cared for my dog as it was their own.

I had a wonderful experience with this dog sitter! Communication was excellent throughout my trip, and I received daily updates and pictures, which gave me great peace of mind. It was clear from the photos and updates that my dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Knowing my dog was in such good hands made it much easier to relax while I was away. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter

Jenny and her husband were absolutely outstanding hosts for our dog while we were in the middle of moving. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind during a hectic time. Their massive fenced-in yard was also perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy. We would book with them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
