About: I've been trained as a dog groomer for about a year and a half, so if your dog needs maintenance on its coat I'd be more than happy to help. I've worked with many kinds of dogs from 4 month old puppies to 15 year old seniors. I also have a senior dog, a yellow Labrador, 13 yrs. I'm currently on pursuit for a part time job, so have more time to take care of any animals right now! The only day that doesn't work for me is Sunday or anytime after 6:30 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. I would love to know your pets daily routine, likes and dislikes in order to provide the best service I can for your furry friend.
About: Experienced pet sitter offering loving care for your furry friends. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I ensure your pets are happy, safe, and well-cared for in your absence. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care for your pets throughout the day. This allows me to accommodate their needs, whether it’s regular feeding, playtime, walks, or just keeping them company. Your pets will receive the same level of care and attention as if you were there. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they have plenty of space to play, access to fresh water, and a cozy spot to rest. I follow any specific routines or preferences you have for feeding, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their regular routine to minimize any stress. I make sure they’re comfortable in their familiar surroundings, providing fresh food and water, walks, playtime, and any other care they need. I also keep the home tidy and ensure the pets are safe and secure at all times. In both settings, my focus is on making your pets feel loved, cared for, and content.
About: Experience helping raise puppy/younger dogs and training, also have experience with adult/senior foster dogs. Includes walking, bathing, trips to the dog park, feeding, training, treat/crate training I also looooove brushing dogs, the fluffier the better! I like to stay home on weekends with my senior dog Sapphire. Shes a rescue and very calm (she doesn’t bark) and absolutely loves other dogs! We love to take walks and play on the patio outside. I am pretty much free from Wednesday evenings-Saturday nights! Although I live in an apartment, I keep my living room and general space wide and accessible which is easier and less stressful for the dogs. I have a back patio we can play on (not black so the heat won’t hurt their paws), and have a park and yard across the street! I will give your pup lots of love and cuddles and they will definitely be a little spoiled! I also will feed them in a separate area from my dog but bring them back together to play :)
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I grew up in a home with Rottweilers, which taught me early on the importance of proper care, structure, and lots of love. Over the years, I’ve lived with rescue dogs and have also fostered dogs in the past, gaining experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and routines. Currently, I live in a home with a rescue St. Bernard and a Bernese Mountain Dog. While they aren’t my own dogs, I spend a large amount of my time caring for them, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I’m very comfortable with large breeds as well as dogs who may need extra patience and understanding. I’ve worked with many breeds and mixes, including Rottweilers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, French Bulldogs, St. Bernard, Labs, Doodle mixes, Pomeranians, Boxers, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always aim to provide care that meets each dog’s individual needs while making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work part time as a yoga teacher and have an open schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekend for daytime visits to take your pets out and on walks depending on what you need. I currently do not have any pets of my own which makes overnight stays to care for your pets easy. I will come to your home for to care for your pet and offer them the services you wish to have for them. Whether that be overnight stays, daytime dog walks, offering meals, or even just some outdoor playtime in your backyard.
“Selena is an exceptional and trustworthy person. We entrusted her with the responsibility of caring for our seven-year-old Saint Bernard, Loretta, for nearly two weeks. She visited our home twice daily to walk Loretta, provide her with food and water, and ensure she had bathroom breaks. Selena’s care was impeccable, and we are incredibly grateful for her services. We highly recommend her and will definitely contact her again in the future.”

“Wilson was a great pet sitter. He sent pictures of my pets everyday and documented everything through the app. He spent time with them a swell which i really appreciated. I will definitely rebook with him in the future.”

“Katharine was absolutely beyond wonderful. She took care of my babies like they were her own and took all my anxiety away about leaving them for a chunk of time. She gave them so much love and attention during her visits and I could tell that they were loving her! She also took SO many pictures of them which just made me so happy to see after every visit. She went above and beyond when it came to every little aspect of taking care of them and I will 10000% be using her again!”

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
