About: Hello there! My name is Ricki and I’m an experienced dog walker and former dog bather. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I understand the amount of trust it takes to let someone else care for your animal so I’ll always treat them as my own when caring for them. The goal is to earn not only the owners trust but the animals trust as well and in doing that, I understand that animals get attached just as much as we do so if it were to become a regular job, it wouldn’t be a problem. Your furry friends deserve nothing short of the best and that’s what I’ll provide! I work from home so I’ll always be able to provide the extra attention and loving your pet needs. Not to mention sending you pet selfies to ease your mind knowing they’re in great hands! I have an open layout apartment on the first floor which is easily accessible for pets. Please note: I do not allow people into my apartment but will send a video upon request so owners feel more comfortable with where their pets will be staying! Any items that are essential to them can be be brought with them upon arrival to make them as comfortable as possible.

I previously lived and helped care for my sister's baby (my nephew hehe), Blu (a pit bull), and two sassy little kittens. I help reinforce basic training like leash walking, heel, and recall during walks. I love staying active with dogs and making sure they feel comfy, safe and cared for while you're away. + I'll always keep you updated with photos and check-ins!! I have a flexible schedule and can plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. I’m available for overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks, and I prioritize sticking to each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable. I just ask for at least 4 days’ notice for bookings so I can plan accordingly and give your pet the best care possible. I provide care in my client’s home and make sure to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable in their own environment. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m very attentive and experienced with high-energy, anxious, and reactive dogs, so I’m always aware of my surroundings and keep walks safe and controlled. I also have experience babysitting, so I’m very respectful of others’ homes and comfortable with light housekeeping if needed. I make sure doors, leashes, and spaces are always secure, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.
