About: After dog sitting for family friends throughout my childhood/adolescence, I worked at K9 Resorts Dog Day Care, I then worked for a year at Stafford Veterinary Hospital as a vet tech, where I learned my life’s true passion and an now pursuing certification through Penn Foster. While I’m not currently practicing veterinary medicine, I’m eager to watch over and care for your animals as if they were my own, and I hope to meet your furry friend soon! As a dog mom myself, I know what is expected of me as a care taker! As I’m currently looking for a job in veterinary medicine, I learn more and more about the needs of all types of animals! Whether in my home or the client’s home, I take care of each animal as if they were my own. If you have a Velcro dog, I will cuddle them as often as possible. If you have a high energy pup, we’ll play fetch until HE tires out. As an added bonus, I can trim nails and tell you whether that “spot” is something to bring the vet or ignore it.

“We have used Michelle twice to take care of our two cats when we have gone out of town for a week. She has been absolutely amazing both times! She came to our house once a day for the entire week to administer medicine, clean the litter boxes, and spend time with our cats. Our cats are both very skittish, but they warmed up to Michelle right away both times. She was so patient and gentle with them, and they seemed to really enjoy her company. She even sent us updates and photos throughout the day so we could see how they were doing. We would definitely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Every year when my family and I take our annual vacations, she has been the go to person that is the care taker for our 2 family dogs (a Yorkie and a Morkie), and she has always exceeded our expectations in helping care for them during the week or 2 that my family and I are away on vacation. She is always timely in making sure that the 2 dogs are fed throughout the day with their typical meals, as well as treating them to treats when deserved. My 2 family dogs are very active and love to be outside in the fresh air, so she makes that a priority ensuring that they have more than enough time walking around the neighborhood, as well as having time to get their zoomies out in our fenced-in backyard.
