About: Fostering through Cold Nose Warm Heart NJ allowed me to fulfill my passion for working with dogs, but unfortunately I am no longer able to keep pets at the house. This has not stopped my love of dogs! I’d like to be a dog walker to have the opportunity to continue to spend time with dogs whenever possible! Fostering has given me experience with all kinds of pups - puppies (8 weeks+), small dogs, big dogs, shy dogs, playful dogs, … I work remotely and have a flex schedule. Able to accommodate different schedules, and willing to work with you based on what is most optimal for you and your pup! I have two dogs of my own (1 and 2) who love playing and would welcome guests. I very much understand the importance of keeping pups on a schedule, so will dutifully follow such plans.
About: I have been taking care of my own pet budgie. I have also taken care of my neighbor's pet turtle for over 8 times. They find me as responsible as I continue to take care of their pet when needed. At my parents house, I would take care of our dog like taking the dog on walks and feeding treats along with some playing. Everyday, I check if my pet is doing well. I make sure the food is filled and water is clean. I check these basic needs every day as well as playing with my pet. When I take care of my neighbor's turtle, I provide the given amount of food. I also play with it as I trace my finger along the glass. I make sure everything is fine with the turtle.
“Lulu and I met Ji and there was an instantly connection. As she had never met Ji and was in a different environment, Lulu seemed content. Ji kept me updated on Lulu’s adjustment, which stated was going well. I truly appreciate Ji being able to take care of Lulu on such a short notice. Hopefully in the future if needs arrives Ji will be able to take care of Lulu again.”

“Willow had a blast!! She came home and passed out. Nikki and Ricardo were wonderful sitters sending photos several times a day. The kids loved being able to see her while we were away. I missed my baby girl so much but I knew she was in good hands and enjoying her own vacation and making new friends.”

“James was so great with our dog!! He sent updates and pictures daily and helped with her meds and special food. You can tell he truly loves and cares for your dog when in his care!”
“Whitney and Michael were so welcoming to our labradoodle, Georgy! Georgy loved hanging out with their two dogs. She seemed to really be treated like part of the family.”

“Very pleased to get Stephanie’s service. She took such good care of our puppy. He loved it. She took the time to make our puppy feel at home, very friendly and sent me updates and pictures. I wasn’t worried about my pup at all.”

“Julia was an amazing dog sitter! She was communicative and gave us frequent updates and pictures. She treated our pup like her own and we’d definitely love to work with her again. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Sadie was well looked after with Areli and family and she enjoyed playing in the fenced yard with other dogs. Areli was quick to respond to communication and sent us photos and updates on how Sadie was doing whilst we were away. Areli was also happy to accommodate Sadie for an extra night at short notice. We would happily have Sadie stay with Areli’s family the next time we are away.”

“Kaitlin and her family took fantastic care of Poppy during her stay. She sent numerous photos and videos showing how happy Poppy was in their home. Could not have asked for a better experience.!”

“I could not have asked for a better home away from home than Kristina's over the holidays. She and her husband are clearly animal lovers and Maggie took to them right away. With a huge yard to play in and a built in friend (their dog!), Maggie was clearly well cared for, engaged, and happy. I plan to book Kristina again and I highly recommend her.”

“Lineth was so kind and a great interim doggie parent. I felt completely safe with my 12-year-old at her home, knowing that she would be cared for as if she were her own. I got pictures and updates that made me feel less guilty about leaving her, as we went on our trip. Thanks, Lineth! Karmella says, see you soon!”

“I hesitate to leave this review for selfish reasons but gatekeeping is not an option. It was clear from the moment we walked in their beautiful home our dog would be well care for by Kevin and Natalie. Teddy is an old boy with anxiety but fit right in without issue. The pictures and updates helped us enjoy our vacation. We will absolutely book again. Thank you both!”

About: With 5 years of hands-on experience and pets of my own at home, My wife Sravya and I know firsthand what it means to truly care for an animal. We specialize in managing multiple pets at once, so if you have more than one furry family member, they're in great hands together. Our approach is structured and routine-focused — your pet's feeding schedule, walk times, and habits stay consistent whether you're gone for a day or a week. For pet parents who want reliability and someone who genuinely gets it, we are here My wife, Sravya, and I both work from home, which means your pet is never left alone. They get consistent attention, company, and care throughout the entire day — not just during breaks. Our home is fully pet-proofed and set up with separate spaces for each animal, so every pet has their own comfortable, stress-free zone — especially helpful when boarding multiple pets at once. I stick closely to each pet's existing routine from day one, whether that's feeding times, walk schedules, or nap habits, because consistency is what keeps pets calm and happy in a new environment. You'll receive daily photo and video updates so you always know how your furry family member is doing. My priority is always a low-stress, comfortable experience — for your pet and for you.

About: I have a good deal of experience with caring for dogs and cats. I've been responsible for caring for various breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs. I have a healthy respect and love for all animals and, as a mother of 4, am exceptionally trustworthy and responsible. My availability is generally between 8-3, though arrangements can be made for weekend or early evening hours as well as a very flexible summer schedule. I have a calm and confident demeanor which helps during any unforeseen situations which may arise. My comfort level dealing with animals and people alike help make me the ideal person for you and your pet. I look forward to working for you and getting to know you and your four-legged family member!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bridgewater
Sayek is wonderful with training and long-term pet care! We left Azula with him for about 20 days while we were traveling abroad, and she adjusted extremely well. There was no trauma or difficulty readjusting after we returned. It was clear that Azula felt right at home during her stay with Sayek. We were very happy with the care, attention, and affection she received, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Lisa and her family took amazing care of Elvira! It was my first time using Rover and I could not be happier with the care provided to our pet. Lisa shared daily photos as well as detailed updates. I would highly recommend and will absolutely be rebooking the next time I am in need!
Kumud provided a wonderfully safe environment for our dog Harper, as always. We love getting all the photos and updates during the stay. Harper has stayed there so many times, she excitedly jumps out of the car when first arriving to play with the other dogs and get attention from Kumud's family. We couldn't recommend Kumud more!

We have used Brittany multiple times now to take care of our dog. We appreciate her flexibility with our schedule. She has always been very attentive to our dog and provides us with daily updates which is great. Celia seems to truly enjoy her stays there each time she goes.
I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog Birdie received while I was away! Kate was awesome - attentive, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. I got plenty of updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Birdie was clearly in great hands, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
