I have a two-year-old and nine-year-old at home, and they both are very respectful and cautious with animals after having many in our house! I only ask that if your pet is unfamiliar with the children, we have a meet and greet session to make sure that it will be a good fit
A typical day
I like to learn the habits, mannerisms, and personalities of each pet, and adapt my style of care accordingly. For younger or more energetic animals, I engage fully with play and higher-energy walks. Older or more nervous animals will get a more sensitive and caring approach from me. I’m happy to take a quick potty break outside or a full day at the dog park depending on your pet!

Hi! I have a great deal of experience with both small and large dog breeds of all ages. I have had three dogs while I was growing up (a poodle, a Golden retriever/collie mix, and a black Labrador) and many cats, and have been pet sitting since I was a youngster. I was also a member of 4-H club that dealt with training seeing eye dogs and gained significant experience in obedience training. I am more than happy to give you peace of mind while you are away that your pet is in good hands, and will send updates and photos of our time together! My work schedule is very flexible, and I am available for overnight visits as well. Alexis provided daily updates and was very communicative throughout the whole booking. Jellybean was happy and healthy and enjoyed her time with Alexis while we were away!
Alexis and her family gave magnificent care to our senior lab dog, Mila. Alexis sent me pics during Mila’s stay and I could tell our old pup was comfortable and contented.
Kona had another great stay with Alexis and her family. We are so thankful for them! Kona is well taken care of and loved while she is in their care. Daily updates and pictures are always provided which is appreciated. We hope they are available the next time we need someone to watch Kona!
