About: With 6 years of hands-on dog ownership and experience caring for friends’ pups, I treat every pet like my own. Reliable, loving care guaranteed! Your pet will feel at home with me. With a hybrid work schedule and a 5-minute commute, I’m perfectly set up to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. On work-from-home days, your pet has my company all day. On office days, I’m close enough to pop home during breaks to check in and care for them. Whether I’m welcoming your pet into my home or visiting theirs, I prioritize their comfort and well-being above everything. I follow their existing routine to keep them settled, provide regular feeding, fresh water, walks, and plenty of playtime. I also send updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and in safe hands.
“Gianna and her partner took wonderful care of our boy while we were away! I received lots of pictures and videos of him throughout the day—snuggled up on the couch, playing fetch, and thriving on his walks at the park. With Gianna’s knowledge and dedication to pet care, we felt at ease leaving him in their care. They handled his energy, anxiety, and heat sensitivity very well, and he seemed to have a lovely time during his week away home. We would absolutely recommend Gianna to anyone looking for a trusted sitter!”

Selecting this option is discounted, and my availability is more flexible 🌸🌼 Schedule Since I work full time, my boarding services are perfect for pets who are already used to a working household. This is ideal for pets who are used to using a pee pad or litterbox, however they will still go on walks to get exercise and fresh air! They will have everything they need including: - Fresh food and water - Medications administered (if applicable) - Walks / Potty breaks / Cleaned litterbox / Fresh pee pads - Playtime and exercise Once I return home, your pet will receive more potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, affection, and any additional care they need. I board 7 days a week with pre-arranged drop off and pick up times. Environment I live in an apartment with two other responsible adults who are respectful of the pets in my care. While they may interact with your pet, their care is my sole responsibility. “For Gita’s first overnight stay, we chose Jessica and we are so glad we did. We had peace of mind knowing that Gita would be at an attentive home with only small dogs. We received many photo updates and could tell Gita was having a ball- making friends and getting all of the cuddles! We will definitely choose Jessica in the future.”

“Margarita was the first time i used Rover. This was also the first time i left my pup with someone besides a close friend or family member. Margarita was very friendly and did not have any problem with me having questions or asking a few times during the 6 night stay how she was doing. Took her for nice long walks, even though from what i saw, it rained quite a bit. She sent a few videos of the walks and i know she was well taken care of. I will def be a return customer of hers for as long as she is available to watch my pup”

“Lineth was absolutely wonderful with Bruno! She was so sweet and incredibly responsive, sending frequent updates and photos that really put us at ease. We would absolutely book Anny again and highly recommend her to any pet parents.”

“I was a little nervous about leaving Nyx so soon after bringing her home from the breeder but Karina and her family were able to ease our concerns. I was able to take Nyx to their home a few days before our trip to make the initial introduction. I left that meeting knowing that they would take great care of my baby. They were more than accommodating with my travel schedule. They also sent daily updates and pictures. Nyx loved her stay and I was able to enjoy my trip without worrying about my puppy baby.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Martinsville
Jenny and her husband were absolutely outstanding hosts for our dog while we were in the middle of moving. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind during a hectic time. Their massive fenced-in yard was also perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy. We would book with them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!
I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! She stayed at their home for a full week, and it truly felt like a home away from home. It was clear from the moment I picked her up that she had been well taken care of, loved, and treated like part of the family. I really appreciated the attention, affection, and responsibility shown throughout her stay. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I love getting the daily pictures and videos updates. She had a great time. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
