About: Hi, I’m Avery and have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I’ve been in charge of training, walking, bathing, and caring for senior dogs. Not only have these been my dogs, but others that I have been a sitter for. I’m currently a student-athlete on the soccer team at Iowa State, so the fall schedule while we are in season can get a little crazy. Luckily, our season is now over and I have free time that I don’t know what to do with, except hopefully watching dogs! I currently have practices and classes during the week, but I frequently come home during the early afternoon in between these events. I will always be home during the late afternoon and evening to take your pet on long walks or do whatever their favorite activity is! In my own home we never had a fence, so I am very comfortable with dogs both on and off the leash, whatever you prefer. I have also had dogs that are friendly with others and ones that are more aggressive, so I am used to handling both.

“I couldn't be happier with the care Anastasia provided for my pets while I was away. She went above and beyond during her drop-in visits, making sure they were well-fed, happy, and comfortable. I appreciated the updates and photos she sent, which gave me great peace of mind. My pets were clearly loved and well-cared for, and I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have over 15 years experience of taking care of dogs for friends and family. I have experience with dogs with special needs such as seizures, post surgery care, and administering medication. I am a teacher on summer break, so I will be able to give your dogs lots of love and attention! I offer one-time services as well as repeated and extended services. I have two children, 9 and 11 and one 65 pound mixed breed dog named Lily. In your home, I can feed, play with, cuddle, and walk your dog. If your dog needs medication, we can discuss that as well. In my home, I can do the same! I have a fenced in backyard so your dog can run around and burn off energy. I have a large sized crate so can also crate your dog if needed. My dog Lily is great with other dogs, and would love to have a playmate for the day and even overnight. I welcome dogs of any size!!!! *This is a non-smoking home!

“Came back to happy and healthy cats.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was young and I have been in charge of taking care of my dogs for as long as I can I remember. I’ve got experience with large amounts of dogs! Available for the summer! (Until about early August) looking for adorable pups to care for and play with! Don’t hesitate to reach out as I’m pretty open! When in a client’s home, I will be holding the home with the upmost respect. Your furry baby will be in good hands! I will always follow your direction on their care!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and share a special bond with them. I volunteered at a street dog rescue organization in Mexico, where I helped stray dogs recover and find loving forever homes. I’ve also cared for friends' dogs while they were away or couldn’t walk them. I’m gentle, patient, and enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. As a photographer, I often find myself at the computer, so taking a dog along on my walks is a win-win! It provides a much-needed break while giving a furry friend the exercise and companionship they deserve. I mostly work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Just let me know what you need, and I'll see if I can make it work. I prioritize safety on every walk, keeping dogs on a leash. During drop-in visits, I make sure they have water, attention, and a calm, comfortable environment. I'm more than happy to keep you updated with messages and photos.

About: With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I know just how important it is to keep them happy, healthy, and loved—whether it’s for a quick visit or daily care. My dog care includes: Feeding and fresh water based on your dog’s schedule and dietary needs Daily walks and potty breaks to keep them active and on routine Playtime and enrichment to burn energy and keep them mentally engaged Cuddles and companionship for dogs who love attention and affection Close attention to behavior and well-being to ensure they’re always feeling their best I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure they’re safe, cared for, and having fun while you’re away. Just like humans, dogs and animals have routines. My goal is to keep your animals on their routine to make a stay-cation or check into smoothly. While offering in home care and potty breaks, it is extremely important to make sure your animals feel the most love and comfort when you’re gone. Providing long walks to tire the dogs out to playing fetch in the yard, your dog deserves the right attention.

“Anthony was awesome. He took great care of my senior dog. He had to give her meds as well and was able to get her to take them. “Samantha did a great job watching my cats! This was my first experience with Rover, and it was a good one. She updated me regularly and sent me pictures. She was able to provide my shy cat with his medications. Everything was clean and neat when I got home. Great job Samantha!”

About: I am a high school teacher who loves dogs. I grew up with a family dog, helped my older sister raise her 2 puppy boxers (one that is hearing impaired), and had a roommate for a year that had 2 huskies that I assisted in care. Dogs, like people value consistency and communication. I live in an apartment that owning a dog is difficult, but I miss being around them. As a teacher I get summers off, that gives me a 3 month window of a pretty flexible schedule. This allows me to offer a variety of services to clients. Servicing a clients dog comes to understanding the breed, are they high energy and need longer walks, or more frequent walks. Communication with the owner on the preferences of the dog and the owners wishes is also important.

Seth L.
“I am the owner of a boxer who last year crossed rainbow bridge(Hecate) and a 12 year old boxer(Helius). Seth has been in both of their lives since they were puppies. He has watched them on numerous occasions. My dogs get so excited to see Seth. He loves on them and takes care of them like they are his own. Helius is deaf and with Seth I never have to worry about that because Seth took the time to learn how to communicate with my him. Leaving my dogs has always been hard but it makes it so much easier when you have someone like Seth who you can trust with your home and your fur babies.”
