About: For the past four years, I’ve been actively involved in running a busy in-home dog boarding and daycare business through Rover. While my former partner handled most of the client communication and scheduling, I was heavily involved in the day-to-day care of the dogs and was responsible for making sure they were safe, happy, exercised, and well cared for throughout their stay. I regularly cared for multiple dogs at a time, including dogs staying with us 24/7. My responsibilities included taking dogs outside every 1–2 hours, supervising playtime and group interactions, providing exercise and enrichment, cleaning up after them, and paying close attention to their individual personalities and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve learned a great deal about dog behavior and how to safely manage different temperaments, energy levels, and personalities. I became comfortable introducing dogs to one another, supervising group play, recognizing when dogs needed space or a break, and making sure every dog was comfortable in the environment. I also handled a large part of the cleaning and daily upkeep, including cleaning crates, deep-cleaning the dog areas, washing food and water bowls, maintaining a clean environment, and making sure the dogs always had a safe and comfortable place to stay. One of my favorite parts of caring for dogs is making sure they have a great experience while their owners are away. I love playing with them, giving them attention, taking them outside, and getting great pictures and updates for their owners so they can see how much fun their dog is having. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and after four years of hands-on experience caring for dogs in a busy boarding and daycare environment, I’m excited to continue doing what I love and provide that same level of care to Rover clients and their pets. This is what I do and have done for a living for the last 4 years, prior to this I was working with my former partner under her rover account, plenty of play time for your pups! I create a safe environment for the dogs in my care by using crates, if your dog is good with other dogs then I do small play groups that last anywhere between 30-45 minutes, if your dog is reactive to other dogs I keep them in separate areas of the house, and let them out 1 on 1 with me.

About: I've always been around dogs, cats, kittens, or puppies. Since I was young, we've had some kind of furry animal. The litters of puppies and kittens were always my favorite. They became part of my heart. My favorite past time activity as a kid was playing outside with the pets. I'm a full time student, but after class I am available to make sure the pets I care for get lots of love and attention. My pets have a lot of space outside and are really simple to take care of. I love the routine we've built. With my clients, I made sure to keep the pets well fed and always having water. As well as keeping them active.

About: i’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes for several years now and always treat them as my own. your dog will feel right at home at my house with lots of room for play time and also lots of cozy places to snuggle! I work full time but am available intermittently through the week and on weekends for daytime and overnight care. We enjoy taking walks and exploring the city but also napping and relaxing when needed! I have a semi fenced in yard that is pretty spacious. Dogs are always leashed when taken out for safety purposes. Cleanliness is a top priority along with making sure your dog is happy and healthy.
About: My dog growing up was a black lab chow mix, so I work well with energetic dogs and love to run and play with them. I love to be outside and would love to take your dog on a walk/hike with me! About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I currently have 1 dog in my home. Got my first dog at 6. I walk or drop in visit my sisters dog, used to dog sit for family friends when they are out of state. Help take care of my partner’s elderly dog by letting her out mid day, cleaning up her incontinence and vet visits. I work full time but only 3 days a week. I am looking to drop in/ walk on some of my days off. I am an early bird looking for morning to after noon services. About: (*Please be a smoke-free home for overnights - unfortunately I get asthmatic and have very bad physical reactions to smoke*) I've cared for my sister's dog while she is on vacation, and have several years caring for animals. Part-time, I care for 2 Jack Russell's and a Shorkie - the owners would be happy to recommend my services. I own a cat Allie, and she is treated like a queen, as should be any animal I would be caring for. Animals deserve the greatest love, attention and affection, and I consider them such a high priority. I have a semi flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to devote to the care of your fur babies, in your home, and while you are away. I do watch my 3 doggies from 10:30-2:30 Monday through Friday, but otherwise have roughly 10 hours of drafting plans for an Architect. Those hours are also, quite flexible. I can accommodate your needs for overnight stays, medicines, play. While I prefer a fenced yard, I can accommodate on a leash if we are not going too far.
About: I say the above because for many years, my long time dog buddy, Shelby (pictured in the photo I'm holding), loved to ride in my car, right by my side. Shelby passed away in 2018 and I miss her so much, every day. In 2019, I rescued a blue heeler/beagle mix, Nova; then in 2024, a shepherd mix, Holly. Dogs have been my companions for more than 40 years, and I have loved caring for, walking, playing, vacationing and just plain hanging with them. . I truly love dogs. They are one of humankind's most noble and steadfast animal friends. I would very much enjoy taking your best friend (or friends) for a walk. I have always enjoyed the company of my canines...and I'm sure I'd feel the same way about your four-legged pals. Plus, getting out with them is great exercise...for both dog and human! I am semi retired, so I have much flexibility in the hours that can be devoted to dog walking. I walk my own dogs in all kinds of weather, which is necessary given the variable climate here in NE Ohio! In my own home, my dogs get out for walks at least three times a day, we well as potty breaks where necessary. They have crates where they can freely go to when they wish to. Most important is that the dogs and I adhere to a stable, regular routine, including feeding and playtimes.
