About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

About: I have always lived with dogs since I was a small child. The last 8 years I have been house/dog sitting for a retired couple with multiple dogs. This past May I lost my 16 year old rat terrier- broke my heart. Shortly after a relative asked me to keep his chocolate lab for a week and I loved it. I miss having a dog at the house! I work full time currently from home until COVID pandemic is over. My office is 10 minutes away from home- lunch visits to the house would be made on days needed. I own my own home with a fenced in yard next door to a empty lot. I have no children do it would be just me at the house.

About: I was raised on a small farm, where caring for animals was part of daily life. Horses, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, reptiles, even the occasional rescue raccoon. That foundation grew into a passion, and eventually, a career. I’ve spent the past six years working as a veterinary technician with both large and small animals, and I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from LSU! At the heart of it all, I know what it feels like to love an animal like family. My late Aussie, Tayt, taught me that. Pets aren’t just pets—they can become your world. Under my care, they’ll be treated with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own! As a recent graduate from LSU with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to the care of your pets. DISCLAIMER For safety and privacy I do not allow pet owners inside my residence. All drop-offs and pick-ups will take place outside in the parking lot. I do my best to keep all pets safe and healthy, but I am not responsible for any injuries or illnesses that may happen during their stay. Please make sure your pet is healthy before boarding and inform me of any special needs. In emergencies, I will contact you and your vet as soon as possible. I create a pet-friendly area with access to fresh water at all times I stick to the pet’s regular feeding schedule, potty breaks, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable. I send also Send photos and notes to owners throughout the day so they feel connected while away. As for Pets sitting I follow the pet’s normal routine in their familiar environment. Stick to exact food portions and schedules provided. Give them plenty of exercise and attention to reduce loneliness. Bring in mail, water plants, and keep the home tidy as agreed. Secure doors/gates, check fences, and keep harmful items out of reach. Daily updates with pictures and notes so owners know their pets are happy and okay

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to take care of your fur baby! I love animals and have had them all my life. I grew up on a small farm with everything from cats and dogs to goats, chickens, and llamas. At the moment I currently have a senior cat named Jackson who’s living his best indoor/outdoor kitty life. In addition to being an animal lover, I am also a board certified general surgeon! I am comfortable with administering medication and injections if needed. Whether it be going for a walk or stop being by for some chin scratches, I’m your girl! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s). I currently work full-time so unfortunately and unable to offer weekday boarding. However, I am available for drop in visits and walking services throughout the week. For clients with an enclosed yard, I am happy to go outside to help your pet stretch their legs and play. Otherwise pets will be kept on a leash at all times while on walks.

About: I’ve always been an advocate for all animals in receiving love and care when needed. I feel like there’s a synergic effect with pets. Not only are we helping them but they’re helping us have a better day. My favorite thing to do with pets is staying active such as walks or to just play with them. I am able to fit per care in the afternoons or early in the morning. I work remotely so I am able to be free between consults to have some time to hang out with some pets. I have my roommates cat with me napping all day during my consults :) I would be making sure the per is receiving enough nutritional intake the owner suggests and helping them feel comfortable with paying attention to them and offering the best pets and rubs they deserve. I love to just be there for them when needed.

I have a very large fenced yard suitable for everything from sniff breaks to playing fetch. I have a nine-year-old Black Lab and a four-year-old small Blue Heeler who get along with all of their furry friends and love making new ones. I let the dogs on the furniture but can also set up a calm and secluded space (small and/or large crate included in care) if needed.

My partner and I recently adopted a puppy who is now 5 months old, she takes to training really well and loves meeting new friends cat or dog! About: Hi, my name is Louis. My wife's name is Danica. We live in a little green house in Metairie, LA. I've practically converted my, extra large backyard into to a farm. Gotta love the homestead life right? I have three of the best dogs ever and tons of space for more. I've been on rover for a couple years, and love it so far. I'm often in the backyard tending to, my garden, building stuff, or working out. I make sure everyone gets plenty of exercise and fun. I also have premium cots for every dog that stays with us. Don't just choose an average dog sitter, choose me. I have a side job doing IT work, while my wife is a overnight caregiver. Our schedules never conflict. Someone is in the house with the dogs 24/7. I often will let the dogs stay outside with me all day +4hours a day, permitted weather allows it. The neighborhood we are in is very quiet allowing the buddies to take comfortable naps throughout the day.
