About: Everyone thinks they have the best dog in the world, and everyone is right! Undergrad student, animal lover, photographer and creative. (I can take the most beautiful portraits of your love!) I’ve grown up with a Doberman, Dachschund, Shih Tzu and currently stay with my baby German Shepherd, Teddy. Whether it’s a big dogs with gentle attitudes or small dogs with fierce ones, I have the heart for it. I’m from the Philippines, where I’ve worked to rescue street dogs and ensure a shelter where they’re properly fed. When I’m in, I read, watch a movie, work on my cameras or paintings. About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life (plus horses, goats, cows, chickens, guinea pigs and hamsters). The last 20 years I have had Frenchies and English bulldogs. Along the way I have also had chihuahua's, Rottweilers, pits, cattle dogs, American bulldogs as well as a number of rescue cats. I've adopted many from shelters, however, several showed up on my porch and adopted me. I am currently available 24/7. I can watch dogs in your home or mine. I am available to walk them on a set schedule, which I do with my dog regularly. I currently have a French bulldog, our day consists of reward based training/walks, endless love, healthy treats, enrichment toys, and hikes. I would like to offer this to other pets as well. I am understanding of any dogs special needs or diets. We run a routine program as far as food, feeding time and exercise. I will only board your dog(s)/cat(s) along with mine. I do not double book as I want to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

About: Since 2022 I’ve had 2 dogs and 3 cats. Never did I think I’d be an animal mom. My babies have helped me tremendously with my mental health. I’m so grateful to be able to open my home and heart for more furry friends. I’m a stay at home wife. I left my job in April to focus on myself & my health. School starts in August (online courses), so working on my permit so I can continue to teach. My days look the same, lots of snuggles with my babies, walks along the marina, snacking together. I’m very much a homebody, now that I have a dog Im trying to get out more and be “social” lol. My babies have free range in our home. They are allowed anywhere in the apartment. Most of the time we are in bed watching the office or friends. There is an abundance of snacks and toys, dad spoils them the most. For the most part it’s pretty quiet and cozy and we have an abundance of space for more fur babes.

About: I’ve lived around dogs and cats my entire life and have been the sole caretaker of my rescue Husky, Nyx, for the past two years now. I know firsthand the stresses of behavior issues, medications, and dietary restrictions. The stress when that routine that youve been cultivating for the past 3 months just isn’t working like its supposed to. As a sitter I recognize the importance of consistent small acts of love, play and enrichment to help regulate a furry friend’s nervous system. Whether that means an extra 10 minutes to smell the daisies, food based puzzles, incorporating treats into medication administration or playing fetch in a field, rest assured theyre in good hands. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings so I have availability during weekends, and the afternoons after 1pm. Overnight stays are an option for most weekend days and the beginning of the week. I will be balancing caring for my own pup with yours, but I do not plan on mixing the two. Your furry friend’s time is theirs and theirs alone. First impressions are big with humans, and theyre even bigger with animals. I know the value of sitting with them for a while and giving them the opportunity to smell and get a feel for the person theyre spending time with, especially when entering their home. During walks and activities I like to utilize treats and training cues to help maintain good communication on both sides of the leash. It’s very necessary in highly stimulating environments like the city of Oakland. Making sure they feel safe is my top priority!

When I care for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, and plenty of exercise and playtime. About: I had a full grown cat in my crib as a baby, my parent's told me I would feed it my bottle. I moved to SC to live with my grandmother when I was young. She was a nurse and spent a lot of time helping the local animal shelter. At most, 20 kittens or puppies would be at her house. Usually the animals were malnourished or sick, she would try to get them healthy enough to adopt. That's probably why I love cats and dogs as much as I do. I've adopted 2 dogs, 1 cat from the humane society as an adult. The first dog I adopted was a feral puppy, I adopted him bc I wanted to see why my grandmother never would allow feral animals in her home. I had him for 14 wonderful years but it did take a lot of training and patience. The last dog I owned was a 1 year old pit from a kill shelter. I was able to train this dog not to bite and protect it's owner without biting. I love pets, I know more than your regular person on what types of food/treats to give a dog. For example, if your dog eats a couple pecans, that's bad news. I also know people can be very particular of what they want their animals eating, even if it's a treat. I'd never give someone else's pet a treat without their consent. My job revolves around fixing coffee machines and that business isn't as busy as it used to be prior to the pandemic. I have plenty of free time and I understand how important a routine is in young dogs/cats and I'm willing to help out in any way I possibly can. Currently my roommate has a dog that isn't friendly around other dogs, it's a 9 year old Shiba, and I've learned those breeds are some of the most stubborn dogs. I feed this dog, wash her, and trim du claws and nails. When my roommate is out of town, I let the dog sleep in my bed even though I can't stand how much she sheds. I have a clean background, I've never been in trouble for stealing bc my parents brought me up not to do that. Prior to moving out to CA to work on coffee machines, I spent 17 year's working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage department. I didn't love my job which is why I'm out here now. My roommate I've known since high school, he'll confirm you won't have to worry when you're out of town.
