“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

“Christine is detail-oriented and incredibly caring in her approach! She was communicative throughout, asked good questions as needed, and took extra care to ensure my dog Ellie trusted her and had a good time. An excellent helping hand!”

Recently, I fostered (and adopted!) two black kittens who stole my heart. 🐶🐱 I’m reliable, flexible, and treat every pet like family—whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, or special care. I can do overnights or drop-ins, and I have my own car, so getting to you is never a problem. Your pets will be safe, happy, and loved with me! ❤️ I’m available Friday evenings after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sundays until 3 PM—perfect for weekend getaways or a night out. I’m available Friday evenings after 5 PM, all day Saturday, and Sundays until 3 PM—perfect for weekend getaways or a night out. With my own car, getting to you is no problem, and you can count on me to keep tails wagging and paws happy! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines to ensure consistency and comfort. This includes scheduled walks, feeding, refreshing water, playtime, and companionship. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I give my own, providing a safe, reliable, and loving environment.

About: Everyone thinks they have the best dog in the world, and everyone is right! Undergrad student, animal lover, photographer and creative. (I can take the most beautiful portraits of your love!) I’ve grown up with a Doberman, Dachschund, Shih Tzu and currently stay with my baby German Shepherd, Teddy. Whether it’s a big dogs with gentle attitudes or small dogs with fierce ones, I have the heart for it. I’m from the Philippines, where I’ve worked to rescue street dogs and ensure a shelter where they’re properly fed. When I’m in, I read, watch a movie, work on my cameras or paintings. When I’m out, I love to hike, run, or simply mindfully walk - and there’s no harm doing all of that with a buddy.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life (plus horses, goats, cows, chickens, guinea pigs and hamsters). The last 20 years I have had Frenchies and English bulldogs. Along the way I have also had chihuahua's, Rottweilers, pits, cattle dogs, American bulldogs as well as a number of rescue cats. I've adopted many from shelters, however, several showed up on my porch and adopted me. I am currently available 24/7. I can watch dogs in your home or mine. I am available to walk them on a set schedule, which I do with my dog regularly. I currently have a French bulldog, our day consists of reward based training/walks, endless love, healthy treats, enrichment toys, and hikes. I would like to offer this to other pets as well. I am understanding of any dogs special needs or diets. We run a routine program as far as food, feeding time and exercise. I will only board your dog(s)/cat(s) along with mine. I do not double book as I want to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. My best friend lives on my floor and we take walks with his dog every morning and evening so it’s very well incorporated in my schedule I make my place conducive for pets since I have one visit often. No cords laying around, vacuumed floors and room temperature thermostat. This also applies to client apartments

“Jacqueline was so fantastic with Rufus! She was comfortable with my giant puppy, was helpful in reinforcing training with him, and was very easy to communicate with. She was a wonderful dog walker. I would ABSOLUTELY hire her over and over!”

About: Since 2022 I’ve had 2 dogs and 3 cats. Never did I think I’d be an animal mom. My babies have helped me tremendously with my mental health. I’m so grateful to be able to open my home and heart for more furry friends. I’m a stay at home wife. I left my job in April to focus on myself & my health. School starts in August (online courses), so working on my permit so I can continue to teach. My days look the same, lots of snuggles with my babies, walks along the marina, snacking together. I’m very much a homebody, now that I have a dog Im trying to get out more and be “social” lol. My babies have free range in our home. They are allowed anywhere in the apartment. Most of the time we are in bed watching the office or friends. There is an abundance of snacks and toys, dad spoils them the most. For the most part it’s pretty quiet and cozy and we have an abundance of space for more fur babes.

About: I’ve lived around dogs and cats my entire life and have been the sole caretaker of my rescue Husky, Nyx, for the past two years now. I know firsthand the stresses of behavior issues, medications, and dietary restrictions. The stress when that routine that youve been cultivating for the past 3 months just isn’t working like its supposed to. As a sitter I recognize the importance of consistent small acts of love, play and enrichment to help regulate a furry friend’s nervous system. Whether that means an extra 10 minutes to smell the daisies, food based puzzles, incorporating treats into medication administration or playing fetch in a field, rest assured theyre in good hands. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings so I have availability during weekends, and the afternoons after 1pm. Overnight stays are an option for most weekend days and the beginning of the week. I will be balancing caring for my own pup with yours, but I do not plan on mixing the two. Your furry friend’s time is theirs and theirs alone. First impressions are big with humans, and theyre even bigger with animals. I know the value of sitting with them for a while and giving them the opportunity to smell and get a feel for the person theyre spending time with, especially when entering their home. During walks and activities I like to utilize treats and training cues to help maintain good communication on both sides of the leash. It’s very necessary in highly stimulating environments like the city of Oakland. Making sure they feel safe is my top priority!

About: I’ve been caring for and training dogs for years, and I love helping them feel safe, happy, and understood. One of my earliest challenges was with my parents’ high-energy dog — I successfully trained him not to bolt out the door when it opened 🚪🐕 (no small feat!). That experience taught me the power of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. 🐶 My Rescue Story I was the sole caregiver for my own rescue dog, who came to me fearful of strangers and unsure around other dogs. Over time, I: • Helped her grow comfortable meeting new people & pups 🤝 • Taught her not to jump on visitors 🙅♀️ • Trained her to “check in” with me before leaving for walks 🚶♀️ • Built her confidence to stay calm when home alone 💤 💛 Why Dogs Love Me Beyond training, I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding, grooming, playtime, and creating a safe, loving environment. I’m skilled at reading dog body language 🐕🦺 so I can keep pups comfortable and stress-free. I’m available on weekends, as well as Mondays and Fridays. I’m also happy to stay over on Monday nights, as long as you don’t need me to stay past 8am the following morning. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, and plenty of exercise and playtime. I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level, so I can adapt my approach to their needs. I also give lots of affection (if they enjoy it!) and keep their environment clean and safe. You’ll get updates with photos so you know they’re happy and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve always loved animals- growing up I had both cats and dogs, and currently have a senior cat of my own. I also foster dogs of all breeds, personalities, and needs through a local shelter. I’ve pet-sat both in my home, and in others’ homes, throughout my life, and have experience caring for animals post-op, with semi-complex medical needs, and basic training techniques, using positive reinforcement and praise. With your pets in my care, I can assure you that they will get all the love and attention that they deserve, everything that they need, and from day 1 they will be cared for as if they were my own. I am available for overnight care in your home, drop-in walks/ play-time/ potty breaks, and daycare in your home. Unfortunately, am not available for boarding or daycare in my home. However, I’m more than happy to take your pet on a day-long outing out in nature, or around the city. I am available for recurring walks, drop-ins, house sits, and one-off bookings on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of 48 hours notice ahead of time. My goal is to always fit seamlessly into your and your pet’s life, but due to pre-existing commitments, I can’t accommodate on-demand services. Every pet I take on, I care for as if they are my own. I strive to provide consistent communication about how they’re doing, what activities we engaged in during our time together, and am mindful to tailor my communication to your needs, so frequency of communication that meets your specific needs will be discussed at our meet and greet. Any concerns that I may have about your pet will be communicated promptly.

About: Friends and family say I have a sixth sense with dogs—able to understand their needs just by looking at them! Whether they crave outdoor adventures or a peaceful, cozy environment, I easily adapt to each pup’s unique personality. My own little nugget crossed the rainbow bridge in January 2025, after a life filled with snuggles, treats, and epic adventures. I now channel that same devotion into caring for your pet, aiming to become their second-favorite human while you're away. I currently work from home as a freelancer. My schedule is extremely flexible so I am able to go for walks during the day and provide boarding during the weekdays. At one time, I've cared for four dogs and a cat, of which included two large dogs. However, now that I am in a smaller space, I want to ensure that every pet feels safe and loved and plan to keep the group small. I have an enclosed back patio with lots of sunlight and also live right next to a park so your furry friend can enjoy outside adventures if they like to!

About: Hi Paw-rents! Thanks so much for stopping by! I know how personal it is to choose someone to care for your beloved pet—and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is simple: to make sure your furry family member feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away, and that you feel completely at ease knowing they’re in great hands. I bring a calm, grounded presence to pet care, shaped by my background in social work and trauma-informed support. I understand how to meet each pet exactly where they are—whether they’re shy, high-energy, older, or need a little extra patience. I move at their pace, tune into their cues, and make sure they feel secure every step of the way. In my free time you’ll find me outdoors hiking, exploring national parks, or walking my sweet dog Zuri and exploring dog heaven at Fort Funston Beach. Zuri is incredibly gentle, and we love hosting dog friends at our peaceful, pet-friendly home. You can count on me for: Thoughtful, loving, and responsible care Clear, consistent communication A calm, structured environment your pet can settle into If you're looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being—I’d love to connect. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I'm currently working part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and drop-ins—mornings and afternoons or evenings Wednesday through Sunday. Whether your pup needs a playful day or a cozy overnight stay, I’ve got you covered! A Typical Day with Me I love spending time outdoors, so your pup and I will enjoy walks exploring the neighborhood and sniffing new scents. With your approval, I’ll offer healthy treats to keep things fun. We might visit the dog park for some social time, then relax with sunbathing or quiet rest. At home, your dog can play with my gentle pup Zuri—or I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. Since I work part-time, I have plenty of time to be fully present and give your pet all the love and attention they deserve. I truly enjoy building bonds with every dog I care for—it’s one of my favorite parts of this work!

About: I had a full grown cat in my crib as a baby, my parent's told me I would feed it my bottle. I moved to SC to live with my grandmother when I was young. She was a nurse and spent a lot of time helping the local animal shelter. At most, 20 kittens or puppies would be at her house. Usually the animals were malnourished or sick, she would try to get them healthy enough to adopt. That's probably why I love cats and dogs as much as I do. I've adopted 2 dogs, 1 cat from the humane society as an adult. The first dog I adopted was a feral puppy, I adopted him bc I wanted to see why my grandmother never would allow feral animals in her home. I had him for 14 wonderful years but it did take a lot of training and patience. The last dog I owned was a 1 year old pit from a kill shelter. I was able to train this dog not to bite and protect it's owner without biting. I love pets, I know more than your regular person on what types of food/treats to give a dog. For example, if your dog eats a couple pecans, that's bad news. I also know people can be very particular of what they want their animals eating, even if it's a treat. I'd never give someone else's pet a treat without their consent. My job revolves around fixing coffee machines and that business isn't as busy as it used to be prior to the pandemic. I have plenty of free time and I understand how important a routine is in young dogs/cats and I'm willing to help out in any way I possibly can. Currently my roommate has a dog that isn't friendly around other dogs, it's a 9 year old Shiba, and I've learned those breeds are some of the most stubborn dogs. I feed this dog, wash her, and trim du claws and nails. When my roommate is out of town, I let the dog sleep in my bed even though I can't stand how much she sheds. I have a clean background, I've never been in trouble for stealing bc my parents brought me up not to do that. Prior to moving out to CA to work on coffee machines, I spent 17 year's working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage department. I didn't love my job which is why I'm out here now. My roommate I've known since high school, he'll confirm you won't have to worry when you're out of town.

She walks him regularly, feeds him according to his schedule, and makes sure he has everything he needs. I highly recommend Nicole as your dog caretaker. Floyd will be delighted to see her soon!”

Chukwuebuka E.
“I have known Chukwuebula for over a decade, and in all that time, he has always been amazing with pets. I have known him to volunteer to walk dogs from pet shelters and to pet-sit for friends. If there is anyone to trust with my pets, he would be the first one I turn to.”

Monica G.
“Monica is so sweet and patient with my dog! Whenever my dog is excited she waits for her to calm down and that really gives me confidence for when she walks my 60lb pitbull around the block. I would highly recommend Monica to watch your furr baby!”

Sophia K.
“I met Sophia K. at the dog park and fell in love with her dog. I appreciated how she cared for her own puppy so much and how she engaged with mine that I just checked in the see if she provided services. Just my luck, she did! Sophia is so kind and gentle with my puppies especially since my little princess just lost the ability to walk with IVDD flares. Her communication is on point and her medicine administration is just the ticket. If you would like someone to care for your pup or puppers like they are their own, Sophia is the Rover for you. #specialneeds #medicationadministration”

Elizabeth S.
“Eliza is my daughter, and I can wholeheartedly say she would be a responsible and loving caregiver for any pet. She grew up with a family dog and later had a dog of her own, both of whom she cared for with deep compassion and attentiveness. Eliza has always had a natural bond with animals—she’s patient, reliable, and truly understands what it means to provide consistent, loving care. Any pet in her hands would be well looked after and genuinely loved.”

Chelsea E.
“Between Chelsea’s meticulous attention to detail and her love for pups and all things with toe beans and fur, she is the perfect person to trust your beloved four-legged friend with. She has a knack for reading a dog’s body language, understanding the way a dog/dogs process and deal with their surroundings and stimulus, and for making a dog feel extra loved and special. Chelsea will let your dog sniff every single rock and blade of grass on their walk, as well as make sure they stay hydrated and don’t get too hot in the Florida sun. Trust your pups with Chelsea.”

Elizabeth L.
“Pick Elizabeth as a sitter! She's really kind and in-tune with any pet needs, making accommodations as requested and asking detail-orientated questions to ensure the best care. I don't trust many people with my fur baby but I trust her =).”

Gena B.
“I love the manner in which Gena cares for my dog Smooches. She has a compassionate heart which is obvious when Smooches interacts with her. I value Gena’s service because I can step away for vacation and know my doggie is in a safe place with comfortable care. Also Gena takes pictures of Smooches during her care showing that Smooches is comfortable which allows me to relax and enjoy my time away.”

Andres G.
“I can't think of a better person as a pet caregiver. Andres adores animales and it's really good with dogs. He has been taking care of my husky Samoyed mix since I adopted her 6 yrs ago and I even leave her with him while I go on long trips....he takes care of her with absolutely dedication.”
