“Amanda is amazing!! I’ve worked from home ever since I got my dog, so I had a lot of anxiety dropping her off all day somewhere with my new job being in an office. But Amanda took amazing care of my pup and it totally helped me feel at ease. She takes her on walks and sends lot of photos.”

“Very easy to work with and she did everything to make our little one comfortable being at the sitters the first time. Truly wish she was in our area (we were traveling for this event) because we would absolutely use her again.”

“I'm so happy to have found Megan. Our dog loves spending time with her and her pup and comes home happy and tired. I'm looking forward to future doggy daycares at Megan's.”

“Debi and Jim did a great job with my dachshund's first visit. Debi was flexible and accomodating with a last-minute situation where I needed dog daycare when our moving truck was being unloaded. Her home and yard are perfectly set up for pet care and pet enjoyment. Debi was well prepared for a new client and clearly loves all the animals in her care. Thanks very much, we will certainly book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid! I love every breed and can help training them as well. Have a medium crate available if needed. I have 3 school aged kids so very flexible. I am home most the day and can watch on weekends and weekdays . I work from home part time. I have just under a half acre lawn with fence, perfect for your dogs need! I will take them on daily walks and exercise them. We had one King Charles cavalier that recently passed away so your dog would be the only one here.

About: I’ve been raising and caring for Frenchies and American Bullies for the past six years. I genuinely enjoy dogs, and my two youngest daughters are also dog lovers. As a stay-at-home mom, I can provide the care and attention your pet requires. This means I’ll have ample time to enjoy and play with your furry companions. We dropped Nebula off and picked her up later that day when we were done. Such an easy process. And you can tell Carina has a heart for dogs so we felt really good about leaving our sweet baby with her.”

About: I have been a best friend owner for over 30 years! I love to walk my pups and play fetch! And I'd love to love on your best friend! I am a stay at home mom and my schedule is super flexible for clients. I can make times work to take care of people's besties! I have a fenced yard and will walk dogs on leashes and if pups need to run will find a park to have some freedom!

About: Animals have always been the heartbeat of my life. I’m 45 years old, and from the time I could read, you’d find me flipping through my dog encyclopedia (yes, I still have it!). I’ve never lived in a home without a dog and a cat—and over the years, I’ve also loved and cared for hedgehogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, lovebirds, bearded dragons, fish, and more. If it has fur, feathers, or scales, I’ve probably cuddled it, cared for it, and loved it. Before moving to Idaho two years ago, I volunteered at a California animal shelter for 26 wonderful years. From walking dogs and socializing cats to photographing adoptables and helping families meet their perfect pet match, I gained hands-on experience with animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Watching so many pets find their forever homes filled my heart and shaped the way I care for animals today—with patience, love, and a deep understanding of their individual needs. Pet sitting has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. Friends and family always trusted me with their fur babies, and word of mouth kept me busy! I'm also a teacher with a master’s degree and a teaching credential, but after realizing how undervalued teachers are in Idaho, I’ve chosen to follow another one of my passions—animals. That’s what brought me to Rover. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home—even when their humans are away. I can’t wait to meet yours! I recently wrapped up a year of teaching first grade, and while I still have a love for education, I've decided to shift my focus full-time to something I’ve always been passionate about—caring for animals. On calendar days I'm available, I can give your pets the love, attention, and care they deserve 24/7. While I may occasionally substitute teach during the school year, it’s completely flexible—so my schedule always revolves around your pet’s needs first. I have two wonderful boys (ages 12 and 14) and a supportive fiancé who all share my love for animals. When they’re home, they’re happy to help shower your fur baby with affection too! There will be times I'm driving the boys to soccer, school, etc, but that won't take away from the love and care I give your pet. As an active and healthy 45-year-old who loves being outdoors, I’m always up for daily walks, playtime, and adventures. Whether your pet loves snuggles, strolls, or spirited games of fetch, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved every single day. My top priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn exactly what your pet needs and follow your instructions to a T. After all, you know your fur baby best! In my home, your pet will be welcomed into a peaceful and happy environment. I share my space with Charlie, our sweet 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He’s the ultimate furry gentleman—gentle, playful, and respectful of other animals’ energy. If your pup wants a buddy to play with, Charlie’s all in. If they prefer space, he totally understands that too. We also have a cat named Batman who lives his best life upstairs in his own private cat kingdom, complete with cat trees and tunnels—perfect for keeping him content and separate if needed. Our home is a two-story house in a quiet, safe neighborhood with parks nearby—great for walks and sniffing adventures. We have a large, grassy, fully fenced backyard with plenty of shade and a patio for lounging. There’s also a dog door for easy access to the yard, and I use baby gates or an extra-large crate as needed to keep everyone safe and happy. When caring for pets, I keep a close eye on their energy and comfort. I love taking dogs for daily walks and adventures—whether it’s around the neighborhood, through the local parks, or even on hikes, paddleboarding outings, or strolls through Scheels! But of course, everything is based on your pet’s needs, personality, and your preferences. When I’m not home (which isn’t often!), I make sure pets are safely separated or crated—whichever is best for them. And I’m never gone for more than a couple of hours at a time. Your pet will always be treated like part of the family here!

“Karen was great with our puppy, she walked him twice and he had other dogs to play with and he loves that! She also helped us in a last minute situation and we are grateful for that !”

“Liz and her have dog sat my Golden Retriever for over 2 years now. I like the fact that Liz doesn’t take in more than one dog at a time. I don’t have to worry about if my Sophie will be getting along with other dogs in the house. Sophie gets so much love and affection from Liz’s family, and LOTS of walks too! Sophie is treated as if she is their own dog. I can’t give enough praises or recommendations.”

Julie H.
“I've known Julie since 1994, and one thing has always been crystal clear—she’s an animal lover through and through! Back in high school, it felt like she practically lived at the animal shelter. And ever since then, I can’t recall a time when Julie didn’t have at least one dog and one cat in her home—usually more. At one point, she was even raising Madagascar hissing cockroaches to feed her bearded dragon! If that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is. Years ago, when my boys were little, we adopted our sweet tabby cat, Miss Cleo. Anytime I had to go out of town, I had total peace of mind knowing Cleo was in Julie’s care. Julie has a special gift with animals—she’s incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure they’re happy and healthy. As Cleo has gotten older, that kind of care has meant even more to me. Julie’s home is truly a haven for animals. It’s filled with love, calm energy, and lots of fur-baby snuggles. Cleo always got along wonderfully with Julie’s cat Batman and her sweet dog Charlie, so I knew she had furry friends to keep her company too. Now that Julie has moved away, Cleo and I both miss her terribly. But if you’re lucky enough to have Julie (and her amazing family) caring for your pet—you’re in the best hands possible. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She’s simply the best!”
