About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and today I care for three of my own. Over the years I’ve had both big and small pups — from energetic, playful ones to calm companions — and even dogs with special challenges that required patience and learning. Through this, I’ve gained hands-on experience in understanding different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I’ve learned how to treat and support dogs with issues, always focusing on giving them the best life possible. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or simply providing comfort and love, I treat every dog as if they were my own. For me, dog care isn’t just about responsibility — it’s about compassion, patience, and making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently looking for a job that fits well with my college schedule. I have gaps between classes that allow me to let dogs out or take them on walks, and outside of class hours I’m available for longer care. About: I grew up in a house with tons of animals; I can’t imagine a house without them! I am so excited to get to meet and love on new animals. I used to own a dog grooming business, have pet sat for many years, and am now looking forward to taking care of your pets via Rover! I love all pets, big or small, with any type of personality, ranging from shy to extremely outgoing. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s temperment and learning their cute quirks. As a rescue owner, rescue animals are near and dear to my heart. I look forward to getting to know your pet! I have an extremely flexible schedule these days as I am an entrepreneur and can make my own schedule. Same day requests are very feasible with my schedule! I have worked with dogs that have used crates before. I always walk dogs with a leash and make sure their leash is on and secure before leaving the house.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my world. Over the past few years, I’ve also cared for family and friends’ dogs, with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I currently have a 4-month-old chocolate Lab, which has given me hands-on experience with puppy care, potty training, crate routines, and lots of patience. I truly understand how important your dog’s routine is, and I’m very attentive to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and behavioral cues. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I provide plenty of playtime, structured walks (or runs if you’d like!), and calm affection — always prioritizing safety and consistency. I currently work part-time from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding, and I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Since I’m an active person, your dog will enjoy lots of movement, structured exercise, balanced with calm downtime when needed I have a fully fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play under supervision. I also have a friendly 4-month-old chocolate Lab who is well socialized and can provide companionship if your dog enjoys being around other dogs. The first-floor living room is a designated dog-friendly space where I spend most of my time, so pets are never left alone or unattended. I maintain a clean, structured, and calm environment. If crate training is part of your dog’s routine, I have plenty of space to accommodate that comfortably.

About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and my dogs have all lived very long and healthy lives. I’ve adopted them and taken in strays, including one that was pregnant and then had 8 very healthy puppies which we cared for, weaned and found permanent homes for. Several of my dogs have lived very long senior lives (21!) and I can give medications and special diets. I’ve also transported many dogs, large and small, to the vet. I take my dogs to the dog parks on a regular basis and have taken them on long trips too. I am available to dog walk and also watch them in fenced-in yards for potty breaks and play. I produced several “Pet Care" series for HGTV, DIY Network and TNN, including dog care segments with Dr. Craig Prior, owner of Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular and well-known Nashville veterinarian, who was also my personal vet for many years. I’m retired so I’m available all days and times. And I love taking photos and videos of pets and would be able to share updates for clients. I am currently retired and am available all days and times. I do volunteering on a regular basis but can adjust that schedule as needed. I also do freelance Marketing and Development including grant writing for nonprofits, on my own time schedule. I have a fenced-in back hyard for my own dogs but also take them on walks and to the dog park. So I would be able to walk dogs as needed. I also know about safety in a home, including keeping food, liquids, cleaners and materials away from pets. My own Beagle can get ninto things easily so I always put things up. My dogs do not use crates but I know how to crate dogs too.

About: Hi! I’m Macy – a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I raised my own pup, Teddy, from about week 10, and that experience taught me patience, intuition, and how to build trust with animals.A few summers back, I cared for my sister and brother-in-law's dogs in Atlanta—a sweet Cavalier and a high-energy German Shepherd—which meant managing very different needs and energy levels all day, every day. It was a full house, but I loved every minute of it. I have a large, secure backyard perfect for playtime, and I’m an avid walker and runner (newly accomplished half-marathon girly here!), so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. With a flexible WFH schedule 2–3 days a week, I can give pets extra attention and companionship throughout the day. I treat every animal like my own, and I’d love to help give yours the same love, care, and fun they’re used to at home. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, which means your pet will have plenty of company and care throughout the day. I build in regular breaks to take dogs on walks, play in the yard, and keep up with feeding routines. Whether your pet needs activity or just a calm presence nearby, I’m here to make them feel safe and loved. Creating a safe, trusted environment is my top priority. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs, whether that means extra snuggles, space to roam, or a calm, quiet spot to relax. About: Hey I’m Scout! I’m the Dog Person version of a Horse Girl, and I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have never been without a dog since then, having as few as 2 and as many as 6 dogs living with me at a time (along with 1 very dog-friendly cat.) I've worked at doggy daycares and have a unique ability to connect with a wide variety of dogs and am comfortable with all sizes. One of my dogs for many years was a 135 pound English Mastiff! My oldest dog recently turned 15, so I have experience with senior care, such as helping those with limited mobility or giving oral, eye, or ear medicines. My youngest dog just turned 2 and recently earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen title on his way towards becoming a therapy team with me. Our goal is to read books with kids! I am a self-employed illustrator whose job mostly involves - you guessed it - drawing dogs. My silly job allows me to work from home and have a very flexible schedule that can fit in with your needs. Typically I find myself working to the wee hours, and I like using my daylight time to do other things like play with dogs, walk dogs, talk about dogs, talk TO dogs... that sort of thing. I hope that you and your pup join me in my Rover adventures! I'm a self-employed night owl with ADHD. During the day I would love to play with your dog! I get most of my own work done at night, and my schedule is very flexible, with a preference for mid-morning, afternoon, and evening canine activities, making me the perfect fit for your pup's afternoon activities. Maybe you just need someone to run over and give your pup their post-breakfast and pre-second breakfast treat. I can do that! Forgot to throw the ball one last time before you headed out the door? I'll be over in a flash to play fetch with your pal. Need someone to take your pup for a walk or give them dinner because you got stuck in traffic on 24? I'm your person! (Also I'm sorry. 24 is the woooorst.) I'm excited to hang out with your dog whether you need a stand-in companion for a couple hours or a couple days! I provide care and enrichment in your home and take your care instructions and routine to heart. Please let me know if there are dogs, people, cats, or other things outside your home that may be difficult or triggering for your pup to encounter on a walk. Let me know your training practices, command words, and hand signals so we can understand each other quickly and fit reinforcing behaviors into our play times! I currently do not offer care in my own home because of my senior dog and his limited mobility. But I would love to spend time with your dog in your home and neighborhood!

About: I’ve loved dogs and cats my whole life! I have been pet sitting/ walking since I was old enough to, and I now own two lovely cats :) I love pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and am very patient / experienced with elderly and young pets. As a musician, I get to create my own schedule—meaning I am very flexible and can adapt to your needs. If you’ll have me, I’d love to treat your precious ones with the same love and care i could my own someday :) I have a very flexible schedule at the moment! I can create my daily schedule based on your needs. I am organized and reliable, and have no problem waking up very early or staying late to make sure your pets are happy and safe! I am very gentle with pets, but also very playful! I recognize that they are often home alone for a good portion of the day, and that they would love a companion and a way to release energy. In my own home, I carve out time each and every day to properly stimulate my cats! In others’ homes, I do my best to appear as a familiar figure in the pets’ safe space. With cats, I take a gentler approach. With dogs, I let them sniff and then shower them with cuddles and playtime! And on walks, I am happy to walk them for as long as needed. I recognize that some dogs need a lot of exercise or stimulation, and with my active lifestyle it’s nothing I can’t handle.

I truly think of pets of family and I promise to treat your baby like my own. I am comfortable with administering meds and light grooming. I’m currently working from home part time so my daily schedule is actually pretty flexible. I am available in the afternoons, evenings and even overnight. I have a pet safe home and apartment complex. We have plenty of grass and space for your baby to safely roam. Plus I am walking distance from a neighborhood park with plenty of space.
