“Teresa is the best! She communicates clearly and is always prompt with her responses, making sure I’m kept in the loop when she takes my dog, Marley, for walks. Marley is always excited to see her, and she’s become a familiar face he truly looks forward to. We love Teresa!”

“Reena did a fabulous job walking my 2 dogs while I went out of town! She made sure to send me lots of pictures each time she walked them and spent time giving them attention after the walk, which they loved! I’ll definitely ask her to walk them again!”

“Roslyn and her daughter did a great job taking care of Teddy! I even got a couple of very cute video updates on my Ring from the daughter. I would definitely book again.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was a teenager and have owned shelter dogs for the past 10 years so I’ve worked a lot with timid, anxious dogs. Like my current dog, Monty. She came to us extremely scared of men and the world around her. She has thrived in a safe, fun home. I have experience in all ages, from puppy to senior care. I work 80% from home and my husband works 100% from home so there is always someone present during the day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to change my routine based on a pets needs. We have a front yard with a long leash and a small fenced in backyard for multiple potty breaks throughout the day. My 10 year old, 40 pound dog gets 1-2 walks a day so depending on your pets needs will get 1-2 walks a day. Multiple dog beds, and our guest room has basically become our dogs own private room so plenty of comfy places to hangout.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life and have been caring for them for years! From puppies to senior pets, I truly love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just snuggles on the couch, I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I’m reliable, patient, and detail oriented, so you can trust that your pet will feel right at home :) I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’ll always provide updates, photos, and lots of love so you can relax knowing your best friend is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the same care and attention I would my own! I work from home so I’m able to give your pet lots of attention! My schedule is flexible for whatever your pet might need :) I live on the first floor of an apartment building right by the door so getting outside for potty breaks will be super easy, there is grass right out front! I also have very large windows that are perfect for kitties to sit at. I live with my boyfriend who absolutely adores animals as well, twice the amount of scratches for the price of one!
“Liz walked my dog Ellie (3 times) during a day when I couldn’t be home. El loves walking but is reactive to other dogs and pretty high energy (Aussie mix rescue). It was the first time El was being walked by a non family member and I was pretty anxious - Liz was really communicative and sent me lots of pictures during the day, I would recommend her 100 percent. El had a great time and was really well taken care of. Liz absolutely loves dogs and that’s very clear. It’s hard to trust people with my best friend but I would absolutely trust Liz, I hope this review helps other folks find Liz as well”

“Kendra did a great job walking my dog, Chewie! She took him on long walks and sent me really nice pictures that reassured me he was happy and well cared for. I appreciated knowing he was in good hands, and I’d definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and today I care for three of my own. Over the years I’ve had both big and small pups — from energetic, playful ones to calm companions — and even dogs with special challenges that required patience and learning. Through this, I’ve gained hands-on experience in understanding different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I’ve learned how to treat and support dogs with issues, always focusing on giving them the best life possible. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or simply providing comfort and love, I treat every dog as if they were my own. For me, dog care isn’t just about responsibility — it’s about compassion, patience, and making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently looking for a job that fits well with my college schedule. I have gaps between classes that allow me to let dogs out or take them on walks, and outside of class hours I’m available for longer care. I’m able to provide attentive care, plenty of playtime, and a loving, safe environment for your dog. I’ve been a dog owner for many years, and dogs have always been family to me. I’m often called a “dog dad,” which makes sense because I treat every dog with the same care and respect I give my own. I provide enrichment activities to keep dogs mentally and physically engaged while you’re away, along with plenty of love and attentive care, so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands.
About: I am a volunteer at the Nashville humane Association, and a Foster for Nashville cat rescue! I have a huge heart when it comes to animals and taking care of them, and getting to know their unique personalities. I am currently working part-time and a full-time graduate student so my schedule is pretty flexible for playing with, caring for, and loving on your animals! I understand animals boundaries very well as I have three cats of my own that I had to introduce to each other! They are all very friendly and do well with other animals.
“Anna has been awesome and walking my dog for weeks and understands her little quirks. She’s also responsive and follows instructions. Bummed that her PhD is picking up and she won’t be able to walk Juno during the day anymore.”

About: I grew up with animals in the home for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never met an animal that I haven’t instantly fallen in love with. Currently, I have two dogs of my own. I’m a firm believer in the healing bonds that pets can provide us with, and I also believe that our pets deserve just as much attention and affection as they give. I have plenty of experience working with both dogs and cats, through taking care of my own and helping neighbors, family members and friends with their pets when out of town or during their work day. I have experience working with animals from puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. I have also worked with animals that have specific needs such as daily medications, separation and social anxiety, skin conditions, etc. I’m very comfortable with meeting and working with new pets, regardless of their background. I currently work part time - mostly 4-5 hour shifts in the evenings a few days a week. I find this makes it easier for me to schedule work with your animals, as I can ensure that they’ve been sufficiently walked, fed, bathed, played with etc. before work, and they will be alone for a minimal amount of time - during which most pets tend to be winding down. I can provide your animal with the comfort they need while you are away, whether that be for just a few hours during the work day or for an extended period of time while you’re out of town. My care can be tailored to suit the needs of both you and your fur baby (or babies!!). Depending on your pet, this may include going on walks, regular feedings, administering medications, regular grooming needs (bathing, brushing, teeth cleaning, nail trimming, etc.), and of course, ensuring that your pet gets plenty of love while you’re away!
“Abigail is such a great caretaker for our dog, Charlotte. It is so great to have someone so reliable and trustworthy and beloved by dogs to care for her when we are away. I can't recommend Abigail enough!”

“I can’t say enough good things! Alexandra is the ultimate dog Walker! My dog is a pitt mix and she has lots of energy. She needed someone to walk her daily while I am in the office. Alexandra treats her so well and my dog loves her and I can tell it makes a HUGE different in my dogs day. Don’t hesitate to book Alexandra! She is trustworthy, kind and goes above and beyond for my dog. I will use her forever!”

“The absolute sweetest person ever, my dogs ran straight to her the first time they met, and my male dog is usual pretty hesitant. That’s how I knew she was a good one! Highly recommend!”

“My dogs had a few accidents including getting into my trash and tearing it up in the house. Savannah was a great walker and helped us out by cleaning up the mess. I would book again.”

Buena Vista dog parents share their Rover experiences
Chandler is hands down the best dog walker we’ve ever had. She’s reliable, kind, communicative, and clearly loves what she does. My dog absolutely adores her, and I have total peace of mind whenever she’s with him. If you’re considering booking her, do it! You won’t regret it!!

Ivan was of great help in walking our 5yo lab. Great communications, showed up when he said he would, and provided updates of the walk with pictures. The dog loved those walks! Ivan is dependable, and we're looking forward to the next time we'll need him again.

Rachel was awesome! She clearly knows dogs and did an excellent job building a good rapport with my scaredy dog in a very short time. She was reliable, kind, flexible, and went the extra mile to care for my dog and meet my goals in hiring a dog walker. Appreciate her and will definitely hire her again!!
