About: Since moving to Nashville I have cared for pets and been a loyal dog walker for my neighbors. it would bring me so much joy to watch your dog and give them the best care. I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I know how to handle all kinds—whether they’re energetic puppies or older, mellow dogs. I can’t wait to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! My apartment has a park, with a walking path out my back door as well as a fenced dog park as part of my community. I will keep your beloved pet safe and happy! I currently have a full-time job, Monday through Friday, but I work remotely on Fridays and have my weekends completely free! I’m also super familiar with caring for dogs since my roommate works nights and I take care of her dog regularly. Plus, I’m flexible enough to drive home during the day if needed to take a dog out for a walk or bathroom break. About: I have had cats all of my life, including starys that I adopted, and all have lived long, healthy lives. I am able to administer medications and even did shots for a diabetic cat. I don’t mind changing litter boxes and have a good system for my own cats so they always have a clean litter box. I often house & cat sit for my sister, who travels a lot. She usually has 2-5 indoor cats and also cares for several outdoor stary cats. She often finds them homes too. Her cats usually have different food needs and feeding schedules so I know how to separate cats who need different care. I don’t mind clipping nails, except one of my sister’s cats who won’t have it. I know how to transport cats and work with "difficult cats”. I produced several “Pet Care” series for HGTV, the DIY Network and TNN television shows, working with experts and veterinarians, including Dr. Craig Prior, owner of the Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular vet in Nashville. “Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: Our oldest Yorkshire had pups, unexpectedly 6. It was hard to give them away to just anyone we had to vet each potential owner. It took several years, but for that time duration I had the pleasure to care for 6-7 pets at once. This involve organized feed time, walks, and clean up. She requested a meet and greet before accepting the reservation, which was good w me. Short text and pix every day. Dogs allowed on furniture so they were happy. About: Hi! I'm Nicole, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with dogs, including Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, and other large breeds, which gave me a strong understanding of canine behavior and the importance of providing a safe, loving environment. I've also fostered rescue dogs through Wags and Walks to help transition them into their forever homes. This experience taught me how to build trust with dogs who may be shy, anxious, or adjusting to new situations. I've also been riding and caring for horses since I was five years old. Working with animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone's furry friend! Whether your pet needs a walk, overnight care, playtime, or simply extra love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because animals have always been a big part of my life. I work a hybrid schedule and am only in the office 2–3 days per week, with my office located just around the corner from my apartment. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have a pet-friendly workplace, which provides additional flexibility for pets who enjoy companionship and being included in daily activities. As a lifelong horsewoman, I spend time at the barn throughout the week and, with owner permission and if appropriate for your pet's temperament, some dogs may even be able to join me for outdoor adventures and extra enrichment. Whether your pet prefers an active day or a cozy spot to relax, I have the flexibility to tailor their care to their individual needs and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home (when applicable) or in a client’s home. My approach is centered around maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any specific training or behavioral guidelines provided by the owner.
