About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines. I’m happy to maintain established commands, boundaries, and training for consistency, or follow a more relaxed routine if you prefer simply keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to follow what works best for your fur baby! 🤍 Professionally, I spent seven years as a critical care nurse and I’m now an ICU nurse practitioner. Human and veterinary medicine are very different, but detailed instructions, precise schedules, noticing subtle changes, and staying calm when something unexpected happens are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of Rover. Please give me the detailed instructions, medication schedules, fears, quirks, and weird little things only you notice — I genuinely want to know. I’d love to meet your pet exactly where they are and care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine 🐾 I recently moved to Nashville and have a little over a month before starting my new position, so my availability is currently wide open! I’m naturally a night owl, so early mornings, evenings, and unconventional hours don’t scare me 😂 My goal is to fit into your pet’s world, not expect them to fit into mine. I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. About: I grew up in a dog loving household, and as the oldest child, had a very helping hand in the care and training of our dogs. We now have a Goldendoodle named Truman who lives full time with my parents, but loves to come for lengthy visits when they travel. My boyfriend and I have a dog together - Nala - who is a sweet Shepsky mix. She can be an anxious girl, and doesn’t always love other dogs, so I have gained a lot of experience in helping her get comfortable around strangers. I also have experience with all ages of both cats and dogs (big and small). About: As someone who has an unhealthy obsession with her own dog, I understand how important it is to know your dog is being taken care of while you're gone. About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

About: Since I was a child, I’ve been around many different kinds of pets. I grew up with great danes in the house, as well as multiple cats and other small rodents. Now my family owns a very happy doodle named Griffon. I grew up watching my family’s dogs as well as other dogs and cats in my neighborhood. For this reason I don’t do overnight stays at my apartment, but I would be more than willing to house sit for someone’s animal. I always make sure the pet in the home is adequately taken care of to their energy level, I used to take my families dog on runs with me if he seemed bored.

I started my own neighborhood dog walking/boarding business when I was 11 (charging a whopping $1/walk - sorry to say my rates have increased 😉) and then became an official Furry Godmother after college to earn some extra cash to help me pay off student loans. *Guaranteed to spam you with tons of photos of your dog while you're away or your money back. 📸 I'm currently working full-time from my home in West End so I have a very flexible schedule. Typically it includes a quick walk in the morning and over lunch with a longer walk or trip to the dog park after work, but my schedule can always be adapted to meet the needs of your pup. I have a fenced-in porch that my dog loves to sunbathe on and I'm sure yours will too! My dog is free-roaming (RIP to my new couch), but is crated at night. She's super easygoing and loves other dogs. Happy to crate yours, let them roam free, or a mixture of both. Whatever you and your dog need to feel comfortable in my home can be done.

About: I’ve have cared for dogs my entire life. I've dog sat for many clients throughout high school and college. The most being 4 medium/large size dogs and 2 horses at one time. About: I have worked closely with and donated to the Marion County Animal Shelter. I also was mentored by Canine’s Angels in regards to grooming, leash training, and regimented care. My own dog works as a service dog for Veterans with PTSD. I have also volunteered with Kind Keeper Animal Shelter in Myrtle Beach and assisted with updating their adoptable animals’ photographs to increase their chances at finding their forever homes! About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines. I’m happy to maintain established commands, boundaries, and training for consistency, or follow a more relaxed routine if you prefer simply keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to follow what works best for your fur baby! 🤍 Professionally, I spent seven years as a critical care nurse and I’m now an ICU nurse practitioner. Human and veterinary medicine are very different, but detailed instructions, precise schedules, noticing subtle changes, and staying calm when something unexpected happens are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of Rover. Please give me the detailed instructions, medication schedules, fears, quirks, and weird little things only you notice — I genuinely want to know. I’d love to meet your pet exactly where they are and care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine 🐾 I recently moved to Nashville and have a little over a month before starting my new position, so my availability is currently wide open! I’m naturally a night owl, so early mornings, evenings, and unconventional hours don’t scare me 😂 My goal is to fit into your pet’s world, not expect them to fit into mine. I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. I’m especially aware of environmental safety, medications, dietary restrictions, doors/gates, and keeping tempting objects away from curious mouths (my beagle has taught me well 😂). For nervous pets, I’m happy to slow things down and let them decide when they’re ready to interact.
