About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and have had four different dogs throughout my life, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, personalities, and life stages. When I was 10 years old, I started my own neighborhood dog walking and plant watering business, which taught me responsibility, reliability, and the importance of caring for other people's pets as if they were my own. I know every dog has their own routine and personality, and I enjoy taking the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply some extra love and attention, I'll provide dependable, compassionate care and treat them like one of my own. I'll be starting graduate school at Vanderbilt this fall, so pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. About: Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University and a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up with cats and have always had at least one in the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was 12, I rescued my first dog — a senior teacup Chihuahua named Bella — and cared for her for nearly 8 wonderful years. That experience taught me just how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for your pets when you’re away. Throughout high school, I volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, as well as assisting in the clinic. I also have about 7 years of professional pet and house-sitting experience, primarily caring for cats and medium to large dogs in their own homes. I love taking dogs on walks, making sure they get exercise, fresh air, and plenty of attention while keeping them comfortable in their normal routine. My top priority is making sure your pets feel safe, happy, loved, and stress-free while you’re away — so you can feel stress-free too. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! As a recent graduate, my schedule is open as I career search. I have availability all week when I am in town and look forward to connecting with you to see what will work best for you and your fur baby! As of right now I am not taking any boarding clients. About: Have been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and many different breeds across the years. Labs, setters, and various shepherds. I also owned a rabbit growing up and have cared for horses. I work fully remotely and have a flexible schedule. I can easily stop for bathroom breaks while housesitting, go on walks during the day, or work remotely anywhere with wifi. I love to read and have put a lot of time into understanding dog body language, respectful touch for pets, and also just love to see them happy and content. Any dog I care for I would treat as my own.

About: We consistently watch friends’ dogs and have grown up with dogs our whole life. Our friends and neighbors rely on us to take care of their loving pets. We have plenty of time to love on your pup since we are on summer break! We are currently on summer break, so we have plenty of time to take care of your dog and provide them with loving care! This is our only summer job, so all attention can go to your dog! We live in a gated community with a large dog park. We have access to other dogs that your pup can play with, and our apartment also has a pet washing station where we can bathe your dog! We also have space for your dog to roam in our home, and have a toy basket for them to choose toys to play with. We also have blankets they can lay on when sitting on the couch.

About: My fiancé, Martha, and I both came from dog families and have had various breeds our whole lives! Despite my best efforts to not be a “cat person” too, they have always gravitated toward me and eventually wore me down so I’m a sucker for a cat purr now too. Plenty of experience dog- and cat-sitting for friends over the years, in addition to the ones we’ve owned. It’s only recently that we don’t currently have our own, so we’d love to love on your fur-babies when you’re not able to! We both work hybrid jobs (some in the office, some at home) with incredible flexibility in our day to day schedules. Recently engaged and no kids (and currently no pets of our own), so we have plenty of free time and are missing our pet snugs! Your pets are welcome in our home as long as they are housebroken. We have a fenced in back yard, albeit somewhat small, and no competing pets at either of our immediate neighbors’ houses. We love walking the neighborhood and try to go for a walk everyday, so this is a great excuse to keep that up while making some new friends with the neighborhood fur-babies!

About: For the past 10 years, I have dedicated myself to pet sitting, providing long walks, boarding, and even some training. Growing up, I was never able to have pets of my own, so pet sitting has given me the joy of welcoming, many animals into my life as a part of my extended family. About: I am a work-from-home (dog) mom. I have two Australian Shepherds, who I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old, so I have experience with very high energy dogs/puppies. They are very well behaved with other dogs, and love to socialize. I have always grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old, and couldn’t imagine not having a dog at any age. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am able to give constant attention throughout the day, including regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and feeding! Since I am home a lot of the time, pets are not alone for long periods of time. I also love to stay active, so walks & outdoor time are regular parts of my day. At home, I create a safe, comfortable and low-stress environment. With my two dogs, I often watch my best friend’s dog, so I am very used to managing multiple dogs. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. If a clients dog prefers its own time/space, I can accommodate due to having multiple floors/rooms in my home for separation. When caring for a clients dog in their home, I’m very respectful of their space and stick to the schedule I am told. I also provide updates such as photos and videos so the owner is more comfortable!

About: Hello! I'm Alexis. I've owned animals all my life. I signed up for Rover to be able to help people care for their dogs. I can provide all basic care and love them like they're my own. I have years of animal experience with dogs and cats as well as wild animals. Right now I am currently working full time so I can only accept pets that are ok being dropped in on either early in the morning or late in the day! However my schedule does change so feel free to reach out! I would like to keep your pets routine as similar as possible to their routine with you!
