I’m comfortable following detailed feeding schedules, giving medications and supplements, monitoring appetite and behavior, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs—from energetic puppies to more laid-back senior pets. Communication is a huge priority for me. You’ll receive regular photo updates and notes so you can enjoy your time away knowing exactly how your pet is doing. I also carry independent pet sitter insurance for an extra layer of protection and peace of mind. My goal is simple: to care for your dog the same way I’d want someone to care for mine. With patience, attention, and lots of love. 🐾 I’m currently searching for full-time work opportunities, so I and have daily availability to spend great outdoors time with your pup at any time of day. Safety comes first in everything I do. I carefully follow feeding routines, medication schedules, supplement instructions, exercise restrictions, and any veterinarian recommendations provided by owners. I’m especially attentive to pets with mobility concerns, senior pets, or pets with special routines. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, hydration, and overall well-being and will communicate regularly so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away. About: Hello! I'm Alexis. I've owned animals all my life. I signed up for Rover to be able to help people care for their dogs. I can provide all basic care and love them like they're my own. I have years of animal experience with dogs and cats as well as wild animals. Right now I am currently working full time so I can only accept pets that are ok being dropped in on either early in the morning or late in the day! However my schedule does change so feel free to reach out! I would like to keep your pets routine as similar as possible to their routine with you! Any favorite spots your dog likes to walk to or specific meal times will be noted and followed

About: I have been pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors since I was in middle school. I have also always been a regular volunteer at the animal shelters, so I have experience with all kinds of dog personalities, behaviors, and activity levels. I have trained all my dogs myself so if you are looking for help with a puppy/newly adopted dog, I’d love to help encourage those good behaviors while you are away! I work a pretty relaxed, work from home schedule. I am extremely active so would love to help you out with walks while you are at work, but would also love some couch potato company if that’s what your pet is into! Currently not available for any new walk/drop in requests Mondays & Wednesdays from 11-2. For drop-in visits, I will always take the time to figure out what your pet needs, and never make them feel rushed! For walks, I will cater our time to whatever your pet is looking for, whether that is as much distance as possible or as many stops and sniffs as possible! The end goal is your pet coming home happy and healthy and I’m more than happy to do whatever that takes!

About: Have been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and many different breeds across the years. Labs, setters, and various shepherds. I also owned a rabbit growing up and have cared for horses. I work fully remotely and have a flexible schedule. I can easily stop for bathroom breaks while housesitting, go on walks during the day, or work remotely anywhere with wifi. I love to read and have put a lot of time into understanding dog body language, respectful touch for pets, and also just love to see them happy and content.
