About: Rover wants me to highlight what makes me 'uniquely qualified' to look after your pup. Well, my dog, Banksy and I have been through it all! He is a wild child. He ate a broken Heineken bottle off the streets of NYC when he was 16 weeks, he chewed through drywall in six different areas of my apartment, has eaten countless glass Christmas baubles (top tip: always keep a can of pumpkin in your cupboard!), he ate a mushroom or something from the park once and went totally blind for 24 hours, and just the other day, he tried jumping into the brook at our house the night after that major storm we had, which would have 100% swept him downstream never to be seen again. Banks is dumb and does dumb stuff all the time, but he is cute and obedient - I'll take it! I trained him from when he was 8 weeks old and I am proud of the numbers of compliments I receive on his obedience. He will literally stop chasing a rabbit or drop a piece of chicken if I tell him to (actually!). I have had my Banks, a 65 lb Labradoodle, for coming up to 8 years. He was diagnosed with heart disease 2 years ago. Walking him and playing fetch (which he LOVES) in the summer is a little challenging as I have to pace him and stop him from wearing himself out. The first summer with that involved a couple of calls to my wife to pick us up, so there's a learning curve! He's otherwise healthy though. We walk for 45 minutes every morning at 5:30 and sometimes he gets a little run in to chase the squirrels that he will never catch, but I don't have the hear to tell him. Banks is basically Tommy Boy and is friendly with all people and dogs. His favorite game is 'come and get my stick', where he will entire other dogs to... you get it! I grew up in rural England with big St. Bernard's (largest was 200 lbs+) and Dalmatians, mid-sized mutts, and little Shih-Tzus and Yorkies. So big dogs, small dogs, slobbery dogs, energy that would shame the Energizer Bunny dogs, barky dogs, shy dogs, shaking-like-a-leaf dogs, dogs that eat everything, dogs that won't eat anything other than foie gras... I have dealt with them all (except the foie gras thing). Sooo... that's me and my dog experience. :-) I just started working for myself which means I am as poor as Oliver Twist but my schedule is very flexible! I have a 1 year old daughter and must tend to her some evenings when my wife isn't around (she travels for work 2 days every other week), but other than that, I am pretty available. This is your dog, your pride and joy, and whatever instructions you have for me, I will adhere to. If I can't, I'll tell you. I always carry bags. I don't hit a dog for poor behavior. Oh, and when Banks was a pup and I used Rover for dog sitting, one Japanese dog sitter taught him how to roll over in Japanese. Super helpful! I won't do that.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 5 years old. I have always treated them as though they were apart of my immediate family. In our home I have one fur baby family member, Nina. Nina is an American Pit Bull. My favorite activity to do with her is walks around the neighborhood and park. I love getting out doors and so does she. I am home quite often due to me having an extremely flexible schedule. I am a dance studio owner which is right down the street from our home. I would love to have the opportunity to care for your precious fur baby. You will not be let down. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

“Aria was great! She communicated well, left lots of photos, and took such great care of my girl.”

About: I love dog and willing to do dog walking and sitting. I have walked and watched dogs for many clients, friends, and family over the past couple of years prior to getting my own dogs. I own two beautiful dogs with my partner who are happy and healthy. I am very experienced with both experience in sitting others dogs for 4-5 years and owning my own for almost 3. I am a strong 25 year old male who is capable of handling dogs of all different breeds and sizes. I offer dog walking, daycare and boarding. I am able schedule walking and sitting as I work from home which gives me flexibility in my availability. I have my own car, therefore getting to and from jobs will not be difficult for me. I am very flexible in the services I offer and there is no breed I am unwilling to watch. I will always work with you to take the absolute best care of your dog as they are important members of a family. I work remote daily so I will be with your dog almost the entire day aside from short errands and able to schedule walks at various times. I aim to mimic the care and comfort you provide to your pups in your home in my own. I want to learn from you the habits you have when taking care of your pets so that they are completely comfortable with the care I provide and that my time sitting with them doesn’t feel like a disruption to their life.

“Riley and Victoria have been great from day 1. They walk our puppy twice a day and always leave good, detailed notes about how each walk went. They are very patient with her as she is not great on a leash yet and easily excitable by other dogs. So happy I found them through Rover!”

“Leah agreed on short notice to provide daily walks with my two pups while I was out of town. We had a good meet and greet before I left town. The dogs loved her, she was communicative and punctual. Highly recommend and will definitely use her again!”

“Anna was incredible with Otis! She listened and understood that he was leash reactive and was mindful of that on their walk. Otis was a happy and exhausted boy after his walk.”
