About: I grew up with 3 cats, and a rescue dog since I was a baby, and my grandfather was a veterinarian, so I have grown up around animals my whole life! I ran a bed and breakfast for 8 years with 10 cats, dogs, ducks, and chickens, and indoor finches. I cared for them all, especially when the owners were away. I have experience in senior cat care (one cat lived to be 24!) I have some experience in administering medication and pills. (Insulin shots, hiding pills in meals/treats, etc) During the weekdays, I am available to check in around lunch time, and again after I get off work (at 4:30) One the weekends, I do have more flexibility, so let’s chat and see what might work best for you and your pet! I want to make sure your pet is comfortable with me, a stranger, in their own home and recognize that some animals take longer to warm up than others. I would love to discuss beforehand how your pet reacts, and if a meet and greet with you present would be helpful and/or necessary! For the shy ones, I do my best to read their body language and give them space, until they feel more comfortable around me. For the ones that are excited right off the bat, love that!! I’ll make sure they get some outdoor time, quality time, lots of pets and a treat or two, if that’s allowed. :)

“Lizzie is absolutely incredible and we cannot wait to use her in the future! She treats your pups like her own. We also have a very nervous girl who usually does not let anyone but us touch her, but in less than 2 days she was asking Lizzie for pets!! Our flight got delayed 4 hours and Lizzie went above and beyond and stayed even later than we had scheduled. She gave incredible updates with videos of our pups and was an absolute joy to talk to! About: There hasn’t even been a time in my life where I haven’t been surrounded by animals. I grew up on a farm with mostly dogs, but also chickens, a pony, goats, bunnies, cats, and turkeys. I love them all! I work every other week with my full time position so on my off weeks I am looking for something to do that I know I’ll enjoy and animals are a huge joy in my life. I’d love to take stress off a pet parent in knowing who is taking care of their babies is truly loving on them. I personally won’t be keeping animals at my own home, but will do whatever is needed at the clients home for their baby. I am super organized, detail oriented, and reliable.
