Knowing their favorite toys, walking habits, bathroom schedule, and training cues helps keep things consistent. Emergency contacts, veterinarian information, and preferred local clinics are essential as well. The more details you share, the better I can provide safe, personalized, and stress-free care.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love planning fun, engaging activities tailored to their personality and energy level. For dogs, I enjoy long neighborhood walks, trips to local parks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and practicing basic commands with positive reinforcement. If they’re social and it’s allowed, we might visit a nearby dog park for safe playtime. For cats, I like using feather wands, laser pointers, and puzzle toys to keep them mentally stimulated. I also spend quiet time brushing them, offering treats, and giving plenty of cuddles if they enjoy affection. No matter the pet, I make sure they get lots of attention, enrichment, and love so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs all of my life anywhere from a German Shepard to a Dachshund. I understand the importance of trusting and depending on those who care for your loved ones (because dogs are a part of the family too). I love long walks around the neighborhood and ensuring each dog is cared for specifically tailored to their needs and owners preference. Would love a dog of my own however living vicariously through my clients and supporting them in their care of their animals is the next best thing! Flexible on the weekends and mornings/evenings during the week. Caring for animals is just as much a stress reliever for me as it is for them and their owners. Can’t wait to help!
