About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, ferrets, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, even horses! While I don’t have any of my own (besides my loca daughter, who’s a little wild herself), I’ve been loving and caring for animals since I was 13. As a Navy service member for the past five years, pet sitting has been my way of staying connected to my passion. I may not do this full-time, but I’ll treat your furry babies like my own and happily follow any routine to keep their tails wagging (or whiskers twitching)! I’m an active duty U.S. Navy sailor stationed here in San Diego for the next three years, with five years of service under my belt. I work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, but thanks to my flexible schedule, I can make 4+ visits to my clients’ homes during the day. On weekends and after work, I’m available for dog walking, cat care, or house sitting. I’m happy to take your dog for a stroll, or even a run if they’re up for some exercise! I’m very flexible and when it comes to timing and days, I’ll work with what is best for you. I don’t offer pet care services in my own home, as I live in an apartment with my 1 year old. However, I’m happy to care for your pets at your home and will carefully follow any instructions you provide.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! To clarify for overnight visits, the overnight rate includes me coming to your home in the evening, staying the night, and leaving in the morning (approximately 8 hrs total). If 24-hr coverage is desired, the rate will be $450/day. I believe a pet is most comfortable in the space they are familiar with, and to keep them comfortable I am happy to spend as much time with them as they need. Whether it's a few hours or overnight, I'm happy to cater to their needs.
About: I watch all my friends dogs and cats all the time. They love me and I love them. Many people call me a dog/cat whisperer. There's a secure calmness within me that I think they all connect and feel comfortable with. I'm currently working part time and from home so my schedule is pretty wide open. I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups(or cats etc). As long as it's ok with the owner, I generally take the dogs wherever I go. I hate leaving them alone unless absolutely necessary. Especially love walking them around town and taking them to the dog park. And cats I am very patient with, if needed and eventually they will approach me. If not needed, I will pet them all day:)
