“Sophia did an awesome job with the cats. She followed instructions perfectly and left my apartment cleaner than she found it. I appreciate her attention to detail and for giving the cats love!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was little and have always been obsessed with them! I will treat your pup like my own and give them all of the love and care they deserve. I raised and trained my 3 year old pup and can carry on any training with your pup when they are here. I work a full-time remote job so I will be home all day to tend to your dogs needs. I have a 3 year old dog named Finley that I regularly walk before and after work, care for and make treat puzzles for during the day, and I have a very pet friendly home. I am flexible to carry out your dogs routine to make sure they feel right at home! I have a large fenced yard and my own dog to keep your pup company. I can crate your dog when needed or let them roam the house and make themselves comfortable. I always have all food and any hazards out of reach so the pups can’t get into any trouble!
About: As a pet parent myself, I know how scary it can be when searching for someone to care for your babies! I believe in creating a calm and caring environment when I am present with others pets and care for them as if they are my own! I have been raised around cats & dogs of all different personalities my whole life! I work part time 8am-12pm on Monday-Friday and I am able to care before work and anytime after! Weekends I am usually free all weekend! I like to meet clients and their pets prior to my booked service so I can create a calm environment with my arrival. When I am providing my services I adjust my approach depending on how things went at the introduction, some animals need higher energy while others need a calm entrance.
“Presley did a great job sitting for our 3 aging dogs. She has great attention to detail and asked great questions when running through our pets’ routine and instructions. She’s reliable and great about sending visit updates and pictures. Would highly recommend and will definitely be utilizing her services again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life since a little kid, I’ve dog sitted and dog walked a lot in the past for my friends/family. I’m good with all sizes of dogs I’ve owned a couple in my adult life as well. Dogs do tend to become fond of me very quickly, I love dogs so much and want this to keep me busy and company! I am free on the weekends most weekends, I am free every week day after 5pm, flexible with your schedule as well, thank you so much! I will follow the instructions you give me for your dog. I wouldn’t want to break any routine or schedule your pet has at his/her home.
“I highly recommend Alaina! She did an amazing job caring for my pets and followed every instruction carefully. She made sure my dog got outside for mid-day potty break and took the time to give my cats plenty of affection and attention. Alaina genuinely cares about animals, which gave me peace of mind while I was at work. I absolutely trust her with my pets.”

About: Since I was 20 years old, family neighbors, and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, water, and pet sit their dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs that are older and require meds as well as younger dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own yet but hopefully Rover will get me one step closer and be the final push I need! I am currently a full time student with a part time job but have Wednesday’s and Friday’s off and usually work mornings anyway. I will try my hardest to make most times for walks or drop in visits work but if I can’t I will let you know ASAP! I can feed and water your dogs, keep up with a possibly complicated night time routine, and take them out whenever they need to when I’m with them. I’m also able to take them to specific places if needed to go on walks, whether that be a fenced in park, a dog specific park, or just around your neighborhood!

About: I’m Mark. I live in Manhattan with my wife, dog, and 16 year-old cat. I’ve had Dalmatians (high energy, stubborn) since I was a kid. I have experience with companion dogs, working dogs, elderly dogs, and have even helped my wife train our current pup (Pepper) as a registered therapy dog. I’ll make sure to take good care of your four-legged friends whether it’s on walks, drop-ins, or house sitting if needed! I recently left the Army and am figuring out what I want to do next. This means I’m free in the mornings and afternoons (9-3) weekdays and weekends for walks and drop-ins. I can accommodate house sitting on weekends with some advance notice. I take my own dog on hour-long walks most days, and she gets plenty of extra exercise playing in my fenced backyard and helping me dig holes in my garden. I understand all pets may not be up for that much activity and can adjust based on your needs!
About: I am an animal lover! I have always had dogs or cats in my life. Our family currently has 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 gecko. I am ready to take care of your precious pet! I work from home so I am often available during the day to provide pet care. I am also often available on weekends to care for pets. I will provide compassionate and dependable care to your animal as if it were my own. I will follow any special instructions given to make sure your pet is safe, happy and healthy.

“Alexandra was a wonderful sitter for my kitty! She followed all the instructions to a tee and was very communicative about the daily visits. She also took the time to play and snuggle with my kitty, which was really enriching! I will most definitely be rebooking her for future sittings!”

“Katherine was fantastic with our little pup. She came over to meet Zelda prior to us leaving, which helped our lil pup feel more comfortable. She provided us consistent updates and communicated about any issues Zelda was having. We can’t wait to have Katherine come watch Zelda again soon!”

About: I have had animals for as long as I can remember. My husband and I have two senior large dogs, Cooper and Thor, and 6 chickens. Shortly after my husband and I adopted our second dog (Thor) in 2015, we became involved in fostering dogs for animal rescues. We have since taken a pause on fostering but when we were active we were able to rescue and find homes for over 50 dogs. We have been able to pet sit for local family and friends whether it's cats, dogs or even just fish. I am very reliable and happy to either stay in your home or have multiple drop in visits. I hope to meet you and your beloved family member soon! ❤️ 🐕🐈 I currently work 8-5 Monday through Friday, I am free after work most days and do not work on weekends. I am happy to help whenever you need someone to stop by or stay while you're away. I am happy to take your pups for a walk, let them out and play in the yard if there is a fenced yard. I would update after each visit or multiple times a day.
About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is the level of personalized care and attention I provide. I treat every dog like they’re my own—learning their routines, quirks, and comfort needs. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need training reinforcement to senior dogs who require patience, medication schedules, and gentle handling. I'm skilled in basic obedience training, can administer oral and topical medications, and I’m confident managing dogs with anxiety or special dietary needs. Whether your dog loves playtime, quiet cuddles, or long walks, I tailor my care to keep them happy, safe, and loved while you're away. I am currently a full time k-state student, but only have classes half of the day. I can always work around my schedule to fit your pet’s needs! I am able to stay overnight with them as well and give them the best care that they deserve! I am always able to go over every 2-4 hours to let them out or take them on walks! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of play and exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also provide any special care they need, such as administering medication or following specific training techniques. I keep the home tidy, send regular photo updates, and treat the space with the same respect I give my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Manhattan
Aubrey did amazing! We have to nervous boys and they can look scary but she was able to get them to warm up within the first two visits. We also have an old man on medications and she was able to get him his meds on time. I felt very safe knowing she had my babies taken care of.

Victoria is flexible and has always been willing to accept my last minute requests. She is very patient with my youngest high energy dog. It can be a lot to trust your pets and home with a stranger, but I would highly recommend Victoria to take care of your beloved pets!

Presley did a great job sitting for our 3 aging dogs. She has great attention to detail and asked great questions when running through our pets’ routine and instructions. She’s reliable and great about sending visit updates and pictures. Would highly recommend and will definitely be utilizing her services again!

She took such great care of my hamster while I was away and made me feel completely at ease. I could tell she genuinely paid close attention and made sure everything was safe and comfortable. I was in a unique situation where my home needed to be kept clean and presentable for showings while I was gone, and she handled that so thoughtfully. I really appreciated how attentive and considerate she was with my space. Since hamsters have different needs compared to other pets, I also appreciated how open and willing she was to learn and adapt. She handled everything responsibly and with care. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter.
Samantha did a great job looking after both of my dogs and cat while I was away for a couple days! Both dogs seemed to love when she came over and played with them, and my shy kitty Luna even eventually trusted her enough to come up to her for pets herself! Samantha was very quick to respond to any messages/questions I would send, and she reallu seemed to like looking after my pets, I can't recommend her enough!

Ruby did a great job, she took care of my animals really well. The only thing I could say is, she does feel a bit robotic at times when conversing compared to other sitters I’ve had. (she might be a shy person I’m not sure) besides that she asked questions if things arise contacts you if there are concerns that regard you pet. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into taking care of animals so I’m thankful.

Cheryl is very educated with pets. I am impressed with her knowledge and eagerness to adapt to my style of caring for my recent rescue, Stitch. My pup loved her right away, and had no issues on the first drop in and walk. Super cute pictures during her stay! Thanks so much.
