I was born into a house full of cats and dogs, and at no point in my life have i ever lived without them. I worked in a vet clinic as a high school intern for a year, and spent a lot of time caring for small animals that were boarding or recovering from an operation. During this time I worked with several different dog breeds, and dogs with a wide variety of issues. I also competed in 4H dog shows for 8 years, showing in showmanship, obedience, and Rally Obedience. However, I have also trained in Agility, doggy freestyle, and puppy kindergarten. I am a licensed Karen Pryor dog trainer and I am also licensed in red cross pet first aid.

I live in an apartment, so I’m unable to offer care in my home. But, I do have experience with going over just to make sure dogs are able to go outside and burn off energy and make sure they’re fed for the night. I also have experience house-sitting and caring for plants in the home as well as making sure pets get doted on, and burn off enough energy.

I was very confident in Katharine's ability to take care of Pickle when I met them to give them my key. During their visits they went beyond what was asked of them. They took the time to play and cuddle with him which I'm sure he appreciated. They also got some great pictures to send to us that were fun to show to others. Would definitely recommend!
Kathryn is great with cat, who can be very sassy!! I trust her completely and have rescheduled her for next month.
After our daughter moved, we lost our cat sitter so decided to try Rover. We chose Katharine to take care of our two boys for the week and could not be more pleased. She took the time with our socially awkward scaredy-cat whilel also giving our social butterfly the attention he needed. Thankfully, she also took the time to clean up messes they made along the way. Would definitely recommend Katharine!
Our girls instantly took to Katharine and she made sure they were more than taken care of! Will absolutely use her again when we need someone!
Katharine is a lifesaver! My car broke down 600 miles from home during what should have been a weekend trip. It turned into a week. Katharine was flexible and willing to work with my having to book day by day. She was great with my cats. They looked happy in the pictures she provided. I'd definitely book Katharine again!

Schedule
I am working a part time job, usually evenings so morning through early afternoon would work best for walks. If doing overnight care, I would be able to let dogs outside on my breaks if they were near my place of work.
