“If you have a Belgian Malinois, Emily is your person. I've gone through several sitters here on Rover who never came back because they didn't or couldn't understand the breed, as they can be very intimidating. After all, they are military/police dogs. Emily was calm with meeting them, and shortly after they began to interact with her and offered her toys to play tug and fetch with them. At no time did Emily ever react with fear or uncertainty, and that's what you need from a sitter if you have one of these dogs or a Dutch Shepherd. She genuinely seemed interested and entertained spending time with us. She also showed up early, and was never in a rush to leave. Highly recommend her.”

About: I have owned a dog for over 12 years, in addition to 3 cats, and have dog sit for friends and family many times. My dog is now elderly and requires additional care. I am comfortable cleaning up any messes that an animal leaves behind and have experience providing any additional care. I am currently doing an internship in the mornings, but I am free almost every afternoon/evening, with Thursday 4-5 being the exception. I am available on weekends as well. I ensure that not only their basic needs are met, but also that they are comfortable and happy. They receive lots of love and treats, with approval. I make sure that their spaces are clean and that they are as well.

About: I love all animals! I want to be your pets favorite visitor. I am doing this side job because I, myself have my own fears of leaving my dog with a stranger who may not follow through with his routine or care for him as I would. I am super understanding of any behavioral issues and have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I am observant of animals and love to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. About: I have a decade of experience caring for my bulldog who lived to be 13. After she passed I started looking after a neighbor’s Rottweiler and my sister-in-laws bulldog. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your pets behind, which is why I treat every dog as if they were my own-safe, loved, and cared for in the comfort of their own home. I can fit pet care seamlessly into my schedule, offering early morning and evenings walks or feedings. I’m also available on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. I care for my pets by keeping them on a consistent schedule. Feeding and walking them at the same time each day to create stability and comfort. I avoid table scraps to maintain their health and always use pill pockets when giving medications, ensuring it’s an stress-free experience for them.

About: Taken care of animals since I can remember (bunnies, dogs, cats). Volunteered with shelters and adoption events too. Neighbors, friends and family rely on me to care for their pets day or night- I absolutely LOVE spending time with animals and giving them all the attention they deserve. Currently have a senior German shepherd/lab breed named YOLO!! I am a full time college student who’s semester just ended so I have my schedule wide open to take care of your pups any day any time!! Since I will be caring for pets in your homes I will abide by any instructions provided. If they can be let loose and roam around we can do that! Need them in the crate? That can be done too. About: I've had a pet over all my 25 years. Specifically smaller dogs, but I love them all (including cats!). I provided my late dog, who passed away this fourth of July, with up to three daily walks, consistent feeding schedule, kept him clean, and administered many medications for his 11 years of life. I miss having a pup to care for, and would love to provide my services for your baby. My other late dog lived to 18 years, so I have a knack for the senior dogs. I can easily adapt to their needs, and love keeping them active and entertained. I have a lot of love to give, so please give me a shot! I am currently a new graduate and looking for full-time work, so in the meantime I would love to give my attention to caring for others animals. I am still in the groove of taking care of animals since losing mine, so this would be a very easy adjustment. Typically my dog would get 2 walks minimum, one around 8 AM and an afternoon walk around 3 PM. This can be adjusted to your pets needs, of course! I have too much time on my hands while on the job quest and I can assure you your pet will get my undivided attention. I have a fenced yard of a decent size, fresh grass, and many toys to provide your pet with. If I am tending to your pet in your home I will abide by instructions provided, and try my hardest to make your pet feel like it is just another day with nothing out of the norm. I am good at reading dogs so I feel confident there will be no issues arising with anyones pets. I also have a home free of other pets, and children which is a major plus.
