“They were awesome! Glen had a great time playing with the other dogs there! They know a ton about dogs so I felt extremely comfortable leaving glen with them for the day and they were great to him! Definitely will be using them anytime I am in town!”
“Michelle is super nice. We felt comfortable leaving Mazy in her care. Mazy had a day of fun I know this because she has been sleeping for 3 hours since we picked her up. Would definitely use her again”

“Adela was truly amazing! She was super communicative and responsive, friendly, and attentive to my pup while I was away. I really appreciated how genuine she was from the get go bc I felt very assured and confident my dog would be in great hands - which turned out to be exactly right. She went above and beyond, even taking her on multiple extra walks and trips to the park each day which I know my pup LOVED. Definitely someone I recommend and will be rebooking with again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little girl. I simply adore pets of any kind. If given the chance with your fur baby, I will treat them like my own. I currently live on the island of Longboat Key full time so this makes it perfect for individuals who work or are snowbirds and need a sitter only during certain months. I have a fully fenced in property and love to be outside and having fun with your pet. I also travel to your home too, if needed.
“I believe our boys have found their new best friend! We have a couple of rescues and one of them is high energy, high anxiety. We really needed someone who could help him become more comfortable around other dogs—needed lots of patience! Tara is an answer to a prayer! We had two meet and greets with her dog, and we just picked them up from their first day of daycare. They did great and we are so happy to recommend Tara!”

About: My hubby and I are home and pet sitters for folks on LBK and surrounding areas. We LOVE some pups to play/spend time with when sitting pet-friendly condos and are also able to come stay with your pet in your home. We will play inside and outside, go for walks, use their family/familiar commands, snacks, food, and naps. Will follow any needed structure requested; example: if you do not allow your dog on furniture, I will follow suit. I offer overnight stays as well as daytime care, a la cart services as needed. I am currently at home each day so have plenty of time to play with and care for pups. I would enjoy the companionship myself as well! We are home and pet sitters and travel often. Although we tend to travel to the same places (clients) each year, our boarding availability depends on the condo we are sitting at the time and it's pet rules. If I cannot board your pup in at my place, I can usually come to you or provide daily drop-ins.

“Anu is fantastic! Taz loves seeing her and playing with Izzy. She keeps us informed of how Taz is doing, sends a few pictures and we feel very comfortable leaving Taz with her. Taz has separation anxiety, but has displayed none of it when he goes with Anu. Very happy and have booked Anu several times in the coming weeks.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a natural connection to pets of all kinds. I grew up with Yorkies and cats, and today I share my home with two retired rescue greyhounds. I’ve also spent time around large breeds like English Mastiffs, so I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I bring a calm, patient energy that helps pets feel safe and comfortable—whether they’re shy, senior, or full of puppy energy. I understand how important it is for your pet to feel at ease while you’re away, and I’m fully committed to creating that sense of home and routine for them. From administering medications to taking gentle walks or simply being a warm presence, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals started at a very young age—I even worked at a veterinary hospital at age 14 as a dog trainer, which gave me hands-on experience in caring for and understanding pets. That early passion has only grown stronger over the years. Pet care is now a natural part of my daily life. I start and end each day with walks and quality time with my two retired greyhounds, so caring for animals is woven into my routine. Whether it’s feeding, walking, giving medication, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I genuinely enjoy every part of it. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the attention, care, and consistency they need—whether it’s daily drop-ins, overnight stays, or weekend visits. Making animals feel loved and secure is something I take pride in, and it never feels like a task—it’s something I truly love. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play preferences, and any special needs like medication or extra quiet time. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things tidy and consistent, so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I take the time to get to know their personality and provide calm companionship, play, and affection based on what they enjoy. In my home, pets are treated like family. I create a peaceful, pet-friendly environment with soft spaces to relax, lots of love, and a routine that helps reduce stress. Whether they need extra snuggles, slow-paced walks, or a little patience, I meet them where they are—physically and emotionally.
About: I've always had a strong interest and appreciation for animals, particularly dogs. I have owned dogs and cats my entire life. Additionally, I'm a pet photographer with a BFA in photography. My own dog is very old and requires a lot of medical treatments, which also sets me apart in terms of my experience dealing with medications for pets. Lastly, I am not afraid of otherwise difficult breeds to play with, such as pit bulls, if I have met the dog and understand its temperament. I am a photographer and often work from home. Rarely does a job take me away from the house for more than several hours. The rest of the time, I do computer work while taking care of my own dog. I live in a gated condo community that offers ample spaces for pets. Additionally, I am fortunate to live near the water, allowing me to frequently take my own pet for walks at the beach.
About: I have provided outstanding pet care for over 25 years here in Florida as well as my home state of Maine. I have cared for birds, cats and dogs since I was a small child. I'm currently a dog Mom to a 5 year old miniature poodle. While I am an experienced dog sitter of all sizes, "Gracie" would prefer only small breeds in our home. Your pets needs are our top priority. Frequent potty breaks, meals and playtime are provided frequently. In the event I need to leave for brief periods, I have access to home surveillance on my smartphone. I reside in a safe neighborhood. My home is a one story single family home with a 4 Ft fenced in backyard. Dogs are never outside without supervision. Gracie, my poodle pup, loves chasing sticks and sunbathing. She would love to have a buddy to enjoy her favorite activities with. She loves all dogs but prefers those her own size. Ideally, 10-25 pounds. I utilize Arlo and Wyze, security apps, to monitor safety when I need to be away from home for short periods of time.
