About: I’ve raised cats since I can literally remember. I grew up in the country, so there were a lot of barn cats around the property, and I remember just always being drawn to the cats. Nothing has changed as now I have 2 of my own little angel girls being spoiled and running my home. Cats have such unique personalities and their trust means SO much since they are not as easy to win over as dogs.

I am available to do drop-ins, extended care in your home (with light housekeeping and plant care for additional fee). I am flexible in my schedule and can do long-term (more than 7 days) care if needed. I will be present for as much or as little as your pet requires. I can be available as little or as much as you need. For short or extended care. The first thing I do is have an in-depth meeting with you about your pet's needs while you are absent. Then I develop a plan based on their typical schedule for waking, feeding, potty, walking, sleeping and medicating. I will attempt to keep as close as possible to their normal routine. I am a gentle corrector unless the behavior or situation is dangerous to them or those around them. I give lots of cuddling and rubs if they want them and respect their need for space too. If they sleep with you, they'll sleep with me. I will follow your directions for their care as closely as possible. Basically, I'll treat them as if they are mine, but love them as if I was you.
About: I have owned cats my entire life and have enjoyed every minute with them. I have no issues with cats who may not be the friendliest to strangers, they deserve just as much care as any other pet. Cleaning litter boxes, special instructions for food/medicine, and plenty of play time, are all things that I can do!

“Adela was easy to work with and made our dog, Nala, very comfortable. Nala has separation anxiety and is usually very wound up and hyper when we pick her up from a sitter. This wasn't the case after her time with Adela. She was calm and didn't seem stressed at all. Nala didn't demonstrate any separation anxiety the second day we left her with Adela, which is uncommon for her, even with people she knows and likes.”

About: Working Wonders K9 officially began in 2024 but its roots run deep into the heart and the history of Kenna the owner. Throughout her childhood, she trained her pet dogs in obedience and could often be found learning agility and tricks with them side-by-side! As an adult, this passion lead her to train her rescue dog, Luna, as a service dog after developing an autonomic nervous system dysfunction that took away her safety and freedom. Under the guidance of a service dog trainer, she began learning the basics of training a working dog and found a calling. After apprenticing with a training company and spending much of her free time researching dog body language, training methods and training techniques, she opened Working Wonders K9 with the goal of making service dogs accessible to disabled individuals and helping pet parents train and build a strong relationship with their dogs. She offers knowledgeable pet care as well as training and support in obedience and behavior modification. I currently am attending school full time and have my own dog training business where I help clients train their pets in obedience and provide solutions to problem behaviors. About: I have always been an animal lover. Growing up, I always had at least two dogs in the house with me. My parents always instilled never ending love for the family pets into me and nothing make me more comfortable than a furry friend by my side. I also spent some time working for a dog boarding facility in my hometown of Wichita, Kansas. While loving every minute of it, I would like to pursue that feeling again by working for Rover and taking excellent care of your furry friend. I work full-time at a local high school as a coach. My schedule is open in various slots in the day for dog care, and my job allows me to take care of any tasks I need to throughout the day as long as my work is not affected. I am usually off work by 5:30 pm and live just minutes away from work. I also do not work on weekends, so those days are full of opportunity. In your home, I will make sure the pets are safe and getting as much love, attention, and playtime as they deserve! When on walks, I will ensure they are a safe distance from vehicles and that they are cleaned up after.
