“Narly is a fantastic dog sitter who I am so thankful I recently found on Rover! She cared for my dog, Millie, while I was away on a work trip and she did a wonderful job. I will absolutely be using Narly again and I’m confident my dog cannot wait to go back to her house soon! :)”

“Juliana and her family took such great care of Melo and made sure he got along well with the other dog they are boarding. They were communicative when I asked for updates throughout his stay. Melo came home a happy and sleepy pup! Definitely looking to rebook with Juliana in the future!”

“I'm so happy with Adriana. It was my first time leaving my doggy with Adriana, and my first time using an app as recommended by one of my friends. Adriana a good communicator, sends plenty of pictures, and she is such a sweetheart. My “picky” dog loves her. Thank you and will use Adriana’s service again!”

“Minion and her family treated my Pup Pup so well. I loved the videos and texts. I was so nervous about leaving my puppy with someone I didn't know, but Minyon loves animals, offered a meet and greet and treated my Churchie like he was her own. I will definitely use her again and again”

“Khris took excellent care of our 7 month old large breed puppy while we were on vacation. We were very nervous, as this was the first time we had ever left him. Khris sent us daily updates with pics and videos. It was great to see how much fun he was having with the other dogs. They were all friendly and social, and our pup was exhausted by the end of each day. We would definitely use Khris again. Thank you!”

“I’m so happy I made the right choice and left my angel with Sam! She sent constant updates with pictures while we were on our vacation. My dog was very happy in each photo and was well taken care of. She even made sure she got her ear medication every day which was important. She got plenty of walks everyday and lots of playtime. I appreciate her dedication to making sure she feels at home. Zula blended in with her family seamlessly. I HIGHLY recommend Sam😊.”

“The best sitter to book with! Xiaoying and her family are excellent and truly the sweetest! I had an overnight cat sitting service with them for a 7 nights and they sent me daily photos and videos and made sure to keep me updated! They also brought so many toys, a cat tree, and cat hideaway spots for my cat. My cat Lucki didn’t want to leave he really liked it there and it’s like his second home now😊 will definitely be rebooking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter or boarding service! ❤️”

“We had an amazing experience with Nachay while she cared for our Virgo boy for 6 days. She was warm, communicative, and clearly loves animals. She sent regular picture updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was so nice to see him happy and relaxed. It was clear she treated him like one of her own, and he felt safe and loved. We came home to a content and well-cared-for pup, and we’re really grateful. Would definitely book with her again.”

“Nilka is everything you hope for when you go on Rover looking for pet care. She treats my dog like her own. Her husband and two kids are also great. They all spoil my dog with love and attention. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Long Beach
This is our second time booking Alex and our review remains the same. Our anxiety was significantly less this time around lol. Our Leo was in the best care and introduced to new fur friends. We couldn’t be happier with the accommodations! Thank you Alex for taking care of Leo and being so generous with sharing diet tips and allowing Leo to share healthy raw meals with Bourbon (his dog.) Will be booking again soon!

Susan was great - communicative, attentive, and incredibly responsible. While I was away, my dog unexpectedly got sick, and Susan handled everything with great care. It was definitely scary, but Susan never left Rio’s side and kept me updated the whole time. In the end, Rio luckily ended up being totally fine, and I was really grateful to have Susan there taking such good care of her.

Shushma and her family are amazing! She saved me during the last snow storm when the person meant to watch Haddie couldn’t get home due to flight cancellations and it was absolutely meant to be. She provided lots of updates and it was clear the family and their dogs had completely embraced Haddie as one of their own.

Trevor and his wife Sabrina did such an amazing job with our 4 month old puppy. She was very nervous being apart from us for the first time. Trevor and Sabrina were communicative throughout and helped her through her nerves. We would absolutely use them again and felt really lucky to have our puppy in such good hands.

First time using Rover and couldn’t have had an easier experience. Jamie was awesome and kept me updated and at ease the whole time. When I came to pick Parker up he didn’t want to leave and he’s nice and tired from all the exercise. Will definitely be using Jamie again!

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
