“Nilka is everything you hope for when you go on Rover looking for pet care. She treats my dog like her own. Her husband and two kids are also great. They all spoil my dog with love and attention. Nilka is so diligent with walks and photos and communication too. Top recommendation for Nilka and her family. Thank you very much!”

“We boarded our 3 year old Shih Tzu with Shushma & her family for 3days. Our Bria was at home as soon as she walked in the door & was greeted by Shushma & her Yorkie Poo Lily. Lily & Bria were instant BFFs. Shushma sent us pictures & videos so our trip was carefree - we knew our pup was in good hands. Bria got plenty of TLC. Val & Ed”

“We had an amazing experience with Nachay while she cared for our Virgo boy for 6 days. She was warm, communicative, and clearly loves animals. She sent regular picture updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was so nice to see him happy and relaxed. It was clear she treated him like one of her own, and he felt safe and loved. We came home to a content and well-cared-for pup, and we’re really grateful. Would definitely book with her again.”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for the last 15 years, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including seniors, and I provide a safe, comfortable home with a fully fenced yard, plenty of attention, and lots of love. My goal is to make your dog feel right at home while you're away. Pet care is built into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, so dogs get consistent potty breaks, meals, playtime, and supervision in a safe, fenced yard. I care for pets in a calm, safe home environment and follow their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and rest. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard and are supervised throughout the day. I adjust care based on each dog’s needs and any instructions provided by the owner.
“Vanessa was great with Domino! He was comfortable the moment we got there for our meet and greet. She has two dogs of her own and watched a couple others during his stay, which he thoroughly enjoyed. She definitely spoiled him too. I'm surprised he even came home. Vanessa was also very good at sending pictures and videos. I would definitely use her again for future needs.”

“Kierra went above and beyond to make us feel safe leaving a hope alone with a Rover for the first time. She communicated effectively during every visit, took excellent photos, and took time to really provide Hope with the care and love we wanted. She played and sang to Hope, as well as kept her food and water clean and full. We told her she didn’t need to do the litter every day, but she did anyway. Kierra was respectful of the apartment complex and timely with returning our key. Heart of gold and a friend of animals indeed. She even helped us with extending booking (when we messed up 5 times), We couldn’t have had a better experience or human to take care of Hope (who is a rescue cat but had no issues warming up to kierra)”

“Brigette was fantastic. She’s super responsive, even for a last minute request, and was an absolute lifesaver for us. She was great with our dog and we’re looking forward to working with her in the future!!”

“The best sitter to book with! Xiaoying and her family are excellent and truly the sweetest! I had an overnight cat sitting service with them for a 7 nights and they sent me daily photos and videos and made sure to keep me updated! They also brought so many toys, a cat tree, and cat hideaway spots for my cat. My cat Lucki didn’t want to leave he really liked it there and it’s like his second home now😊 will definitely be rebooking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter or boarding service! ❤️”

“Narly is the best host you can find. I always feel at ease when I’m away from Luna knowing Narly and Princess are taking care of her. Narly surpasses the five star rating.”

“Joanna is amazing! Her love for your furry friend shows from the moment you meet her. She took care of Persia as if she were her own pup. Very communicative and sent pictures every day so we were never worried. Thank you again Joanna!”

“Alba is amazing! She took tender loving care of my poodle Jackson. She took Jackson for long walks and played with him in her yard. She even took special care of him during the Fourth of July fireworks as he was scared and she comforted him. She’s great about sending videos so you can see exactly what your little loved one is doing all day. I highly recommend Alba!!!”

“My pug Charlie had another wonderful time with Abbie and Peachy. Charlie feels really safe with Abbie even though she is a little anxious and Peachy is a great friend that helps Charlie to stay active and socialized especially in this cold weather. Outstanding hosts!”

I used Janine for the first time, and she exceeded every expectation. She was professional, communicative, and genuinely caring, providing regular updates that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter.

Cannot say enough great things about Sam and her family. You can truly tell they love animals and took care of my dog like he was their own. She kept me updated and send me pictures for the week I was away. My dog truly did not want to leave when I went to pick him up. I know he cannot wait to go back!

Alex took great care of our puppy, Fintan! He was able to accommodate us at the last minute, took the time to find out where we were in our training with Fintan and what kind of issues we wanted to work on, sent us pictures and videos, and took the time to socialize our puppy. Would be happy to book with him again!
Susan was great - communicative, attentive, and incredibly responsible. While I was away, my dog unexpectedly got sick, and Susan handled everything with great care. It was definitely scary, but Susan never left Rio’s side and kept me updated the whole time. In the end, Rio luckily ended up being totally fine, and I was really grateful to have Susan there taking such good care of her.

Stephanie is an incredible pet sitter! We are so grateful to her for taking such great care of our dog (1 year, 8 months old) for a weekend stay. We have a high-energy dog who requires a lot of attention (e.g., play time/soccer in the backyard and walks) - Stephanie truly went above and beyond for our dog. Stephanie also constantly checked in with multiple photos every day (during the weekend stay), provided updates, and followed our detailed instructions. We can tell our dog enjoyed his time with Stephanie as well! Thank you very much to Stephanie for being a kind-hearted, loving, attentive, reliable, and wonderful dog sitter!

Shushma and her family are amazing! She saved me during the last snow storm when the person meant to watch Haddie couldn’t get home due to flight cancellations and it was absolutely meant to be. She provided lots of updates and it was clear the family and their dogs had completely embraced Haddie as one of their own.

Trevor and his wife Sabrina did such an amazing job with our 4 month old puppy. She was very nervous being apart from us for the first time. Trevor and Sabrina were communicative throughout and helped her through her nerves. We would absolutely use them again and felt really lucky to have our puppy in such good hands.

First time using Rover and couldn’t have had an easier experience. Jamie was awesome and kept me updated and at ease the whole time. When I came to pick Parker up he didn’t want to leave and he’s nice and tired from all the exercise. Will definitely be using Jamie again!

This was Rory’s second stay with Julie. Julie is amazing! Rory had such a good time her first stay she dragged me to Julie’s door on our second visit. Julie is very caring and Rory got plenty of playtime outdoors in Julie’s fenced in yard. Julie is a pleasure to work with, very flexible, and Rory will definitely come back.

This was the first time we left our 12 year old pooch with someone other than family. Nancy was great. She gave us updates and pictures while we were away which kept my daughter so happy. Our dog looked like she wanted to stay longer when we picked her up. Would book again without hesitation. Thank you for giving us peace of mind during our vacation!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
