11. Ashley M.
“Ashley's love for dogs knows no bounds. Before Ashley, I had never met someone who volunteered week after week to foster dogs in New York City. Spending her week days and weekends walking and keeping foster dogs company truly takes an extra level of caring. You will have an extremely difficult time finding someone who naturally goes above and beyond expectations when caring for dogs big or small. When it comes to dog sitting, Ashley is my go to sitter and I'll happily recommend her to anyone else.”

“Alexis was a pleasure to work with. She communicated with us each day and sent a picture of Leonard when he decided show his face. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived home. I am sure Leonard would give her 2 thumbs up if he could. We will definitely repeat with her as needed.”

13. Eugenie B.
About: I've had pets all my life and have also cared for farm animals and been around and somewhat knowledgeable about wild animals since I was a young girl reading Ranger Rick magazine. I've raised goats and calves, cared for chickens and pigs, had cats and dogs of numerous kinds. All of my dogs and cats have been rescues. I work part-time, so I have lots of extra time to care for animals and love to walk and explore the Long Beach area. I am looking for fulfilling work that will be joyful for me and helpful and accommodating to clients, giving them peace in knowing that someone kind and loving will be caring for their fur babies. I will be happy to care for pets in their home environments, in the way that I like for my own pet to be cared for, with the least disturbance possible to their comfortable routines. I would also be happy to walk dogs according to client needs and requests.

14. Emily W.

“Our 2 cats were in good hands with Emily! Would recommend 10/10, and would definitely re-book with her next time we go away. Thank you again, Emily!”

15. Becky M.

“Becky looked after my cat Klover on Christmas and was nothing but kind, sweet and attentive. Typical cat behavior, Klover doesn’t usually greet people but was out and about when Becky was there. I definitely recommend her as a sitter!”

16. laura m.
“Laura is an extremely reliable dog sitter! She watches our rescue pit bull Bruno whenever we go away. We never have a worry when she is watching him- we know he will be ok always! We highly recommend Laura as a sitter.”

17. Michael D.
About: Hi! I’m Mike! I currently live in Long Beach. I work in the city a few days a week and am currently fostering a couple dogs which is why I am only available on the weekends. A little about my background: I was a volunteer dog walker at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, NY for over 2 years in total before and after the pandemic. I would routinely walk strong dogs with a lot of energy and was involved in training them to walk better on leash. During the pandemic, while working from home full time, I became my neighbors dog walker for their Husky and 2 Chihuahuas to help them with their busy work schedule. I would walk them twice a day every day for almost 2 years. Now I am fostering dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! Right now, I’m available on the weekends. If for whatever reason, you need to cancel, just let me know at least 1-2 days before. Thank you! I walk the dogs I foster at least 4 times a day. For you, I provide both dog sitting and dog walking services. Whatever you need!

18. Kaleo R.
“Kaléo is a true lover and responsible caretaker of dogs, who treats every dog she meets like they are family. Whatever your dog’s individual needs might be you can count on her to be sure your dogs routine doesn’t skip a beat, all while supplying them with lots of cuddles! -Laurelle M”

19. Rachela P.
“Rachela is a phenomenal pet sitter/walker. She is caring, compassionate, patient and a true dog whisperer!! I would never leave my dog with anyone else!!”
