About: There have always been animals in my house, and I truly like them more than people! I have watched/walked many animals over the years. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, so I have lots of experience As a teacher, I have an incredibly flexible schedule during the summer months and am completely free throughout the day for drop ins and walks! I also dedicate regular time to volunteering at the animal shelter, meaning animal care is already a seamless, rewarding part of my daily and weekly routine. Every home visit centers entirely on keeping your pet safe, happy, and comfortable in their own familiar environment. For cats, a standard visit includes scooping the litter box, refreshing their water bowl, and feeding fresh food exactly according to your instructions. Beyond the basics, I dedicate the rest of the visit to active engagement. If your cat is playful, I will break out the laser pointers and wand toys. About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was 10 and love taking care of them. I’ve also taken friends dogs while they were on vacation whenever needed. I work midday so I can walk your dog before 11am or most likely after 7 pm. Even if you just need me to go feed your cats! I do have a fenced in yard but love taking my dog Nala to different dog parks in the area. She gets along with all dogs and loves to play.

About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! Stephanie took great care of my two cats, Oreo and Nala, while I was away. She followed all of my instructions and made sure their routines were kept consistent, which I really appreciated. Oreo is a social butterfly and enjoyed her company right away. What impressed me most was seeing my shy girl Nala slowly come out of her shell. By the last couple of visits she was rubbing against Stephanie and even allowing pets, which is a big deal for her. That alone speaks volumes to me. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
