About: Taken care of a dog for 15 years and now a cat for more than 5 years, love baby’s of all sizes and ages, longest I’ve taken care of a dog at my home is 2 weeks. Understandable and caring. Trainer to a certain extent Currently working part time at a deli but my schedule is pretty flexible specially on weekends But for the most part anytime listed is great I play and interact with pets all the way through, if requested I can take dog on a run while on a walk. About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! Our kids are off exploring the world as newly minted adults leaving my wife and I with two finicky cats. With a little extra time on my hands I thought it would be a good idea to help other pet owners out to work all day or preferably, gone on a much needed vacation but looking for someone to check in on their furry loved ones. I freelance from home as a designer, so I typically have time at both ends of the day to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs a little extra care for their pet. We have 2 cats at home of whom I am the primary caretaker of, so adding a visit to a neighbor in need would be easy. Stephanie took great care of my two cats, Oreo and Nala, while I was away. She followed all of my instructions and made sure their routines were kept consistent, which I really appreciated. Oreo is a social butterfly and enjoyed her company right away. What impressed me most was seeing my shy girl Nala slowly come out of her shell. By the last couple of visits she was rubbing against Stephanie and even allowing pets, which is a big deal for her. That alone speaks volumes to me.
