“Caroline is WONDERFUL! I was worried about having someone new walk Waylon, as he isn’t always accepting of strangers, but Caroline was calm, skilled and patient at the meet and greet, and now Waylon gets excited to see her. 10. Lillian S.
“I've known Lillie for years, and if there's one thing I can say for sure, it's that she has a heart for animals. She’s always been the one to step in and take care of pets when friends need a hand, whether it's feeding them, taking them for walks, or just hanging out and making sure they're comfortable. She has always had a great way with animals—calm and gentle, but also firm when necessary. She’s had three cats over the years and knows how to manage different personalities and care needs. Lillie is very responsible, as well. I’ve seen her set up schedules for feeding, playtime, and walks, so pets are always well taken care of and never feel neglected. Plus, she knows how to give pets their space when they need it, but she’s also great at giving them attention and making them feel safe. One thing that stands out about Lillie is her attention to detail. Whether it's making sure a pet’s medication is on time or adjusting to their specific routines, she’s always on top of it. She’s someone I would trust completely to care for my own pets, and I’m sure she’d do an amazing job as a sitter! Her experience, love for animals, and her calm demeanor make her the perfect choice for any pet owner looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

11. Amy S.
“Amy has pet sit for me several times in my home. She is caring and loves animals. My dog loves her! I would highly recommend Amy for any of your pet sitting needs. She is very kind and trustworthy.”

12. Natalie R.
About: I grew up having cats, dogs, and up to 14 rabbits at a time. I found a passion for caring for animals about eight years ago when I attended school to get my certification in Veterinary Assisting. During my time in school, I took an internship at my local animal shelter. I assisted in surgery, provided medical care, administered vaccinations, fed, and cleaned over 50 animals a day; I had my hands on every single animal that came through the shelter. Once my internship was over, they asked me to stay as an Isolation Technician and Veterinary assistant. I was employed there for a little over two years. After my time at the shelter, I worked as a Kennel Technician at a private practice that was much more laid back and routine. I would provide care for 1 dog to up to 60 at a time. These dogs ranged from many different breeds and temperaments. I worked there for a little under 4 years. Now, Unfortunately, I no longer work with animals, so I get my puppy fix by taking care of other people's pets. I cannot imagine my life without caring for animals or having them in my life. In my downtime, I will foster for the animal shelter I was once employed at. I will take feral/ nervous cats, bottle baby kittens, or sick animals whom I nurse back to health. I truly hope you can find comfort that your fur baby will be treated as one of my own. If you could ask one of my 5 cats, they'd gloat about how spoiled they are. Not only do I want your pet's visit to go well, but I also want their humans to remain stress-free and feel comfortable leaving their pets with me. I always stress to ask me anything you'd like and "bug" me as frequently as needed. I have recently started a Facebook page which you can check out! It's called N.R Pet Sitting, feel free to give me a like! I wanted to start this so my clients on Rover and off of Rover can get to know me better along with see what we've been up to (animal-wise). As of now, I am a stay-at-home mom. We recently added a little boy to our family back in December. Due to this, I will be able to constantly supervise your pet and provide them with care throughout the day. I can bring your pet out for potty breaks or walks as frequently as needed. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so I will need a leash and a collar/harness to walk them. We have a couple of big fields in our neighborhood that I like to bring the dogs down to and let them roam on my 40-foot leash. I have some dog toys at home in case they want to play. I clean these after each visit/use. Given my background, you can trust that I know how to act during an emergency, (let's hope this never happens). I would like to have the contact information of their vet. In case of an emergency, there are two emergency clinics in Maine, both about 30-45 minutes away. My overall goal is to provide your dog with a routine similar to what they are used to at home. I want to ensure your pup is not stressed and feels comfortable around me and my family.

13. sarah v.
“Sarah is the best dog walker we’ve had! Our dog can be iffy with new people and we weren’t sure how he’d do with someone new coming in when we weren’t home. Sarah was great with him and he loves her so much now! Highly recommend Sarah for your future dog walking/sitting needs!!”

14. Breanna P.
About: I have years of experience with caring for animals and love them all dearly! I am caring, patient, and understanding. I have a home with a very large back yard in a country setting, with plenty of space to play and find a good potty spot! I am willing to give baths, go for walks, host your pet at my own home, or care for your pet at your own home. I would love to get the chance to get to know you and your fur babies, please contact me if you are interested in any of my services. Thank you! I am currently going to school online, this makes my schedule very flexible for caring for your fur babies and their needs! I have open availability currently! I have 3 small friendly chihuahuas and a cat, they can be kept on a seperate floor if needed for comfortability, but they have never had trouble getting along with other pets!

18. Daniel W.
About: Greetings! I'm Daniel, I've been pet-sitting and dog-walking off and on for 17 years. I love animals: With me, you get a new friend for your pets. I believe in the Hawaiian meaning of "Kahu," that we should be guardians, stewards, and beloved attendants of our animal friends. I can devote highly sensitive heart-centered care for your pets for two main reasons: 1) I am a remote worker as a writer and healing coach, so I can be at home with our furry friends. I am not just feeding and walking your dog(s), I am providing emotional support and plenty of care (frequent outdoor breaks and walks, playtime, pats, massage, energy work, etc.). 2) I am a professional in the practice of meditation and the healing arts, a path that cultivates empathy, thus helping me bond with animals and be more attuned to their needs. I have been on this path for 17 years. I practice Eastern techniques of energy work (qi qong and martial arts) and I am a certified Reiki practitioner, so I love to connect with animals as part of that practice (they are great conductors of energy, which is only ever healing and calming for them to experience). I aspire to the highest level of performance and etiquette. I promise to treat your pets and space as sacred; to maintain a clear boundary between me and your possessions; and to leave no trace. Thank you for your trust. I would be happy to chat about sitting or walking for you. I look forward to joining you and yours' in friendship. Warm regards, Daniel ***NOTE ABOUT AVAILABILITY AS OF MARCH 2025*** I have started working at a healing center in Casco, ME part-time, at least two weekends per month, and some weekdays otherwise. If my schedule does not align with yours', then I may offer introducing you to a good friend and fellow healer/pet-sitter who also lives in the mid-coast area. Thank you! Best, Daniel I will be available to be at home with your pet for most of every day that I am sitting. My only obligation that takes me out of house are walking other dogs (1 to 3 hours per day) and then the occasional social or other engagement. I will never leave your pet alone for longer than 5 hours. As a remote worker, both for writing and offering healing/coaching services, I work from home and am therefore able to maintain a comforting presence for your pet and provide frequent outdoor time, play, and other care. I recognize the great trust that people grant me in caring for their homes and pets. Integrity is a guiding value of my life: You can rest assured that I will honor my commitment to care for your space and pets with the utmost attention and respect. I'll honor your instructions for being in your house and caring for your pets. I always live lightly, use no more than I need and am permitted to use, and I leave no trace. Thank you for your trust. Daniel
