About: Experienced dog owner with 3 dogs. Two dogs are reactive/timid, one of which has allergies and pancreatic issues so I am familiar with pilling and dogs with special needs. I just graduated law school and took the bar and am awaiting results. I will start my full-time job in mid October so my availability will decrease. I think it’s important to be attentive to your animals needs, and also make sure to follow the rules of the house. Please let me know if you have any specific dos or donts for your pet!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a girl and have become the person friends, family, and others in my community trust with their pets. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as cats with a wide range of personalities and needs. Beyond cats and dogs, I’ve also cared for an array of animals including: horses, chickens, fish, ferrets, hamsters, and other small pets. I’m comfortable administering medications and caring for senior animals or pets living with illness. I take the time to understand each animal’s routine, personality, and comfort level. I’m attentive, dependable, and respectful of both your pets and your home, and I’ll make sure you receive thoughtful updates while you’re away. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine. If your pet has a specific schedule, just let me know and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent while you’re away. I’ll follow the routine and house rules you already have in place, including feeding instructions, medications, walks, crates, gates, and anything else your pet needs. I’m careful about doors, leashes, and introductions, and I’m always happy to ask questions if something isn’t clear. I’ll also keep you updated, respect your home, and leave things as clean as I found them.

About: I have over 10 years in Dog and Cat care experience and I’m excited to invite your dogs and cats to join me at the farm where there’s so much fun to be had! Please don’t hesitate to reach out! If your pets have a designated schedule then I will follow that but other than that they are free to play with each other and have a wonderful time at the farm. The 5 foot tall metal fence is Dog and Cat proof so your pets will not be able to run away. There is so much room in the fence so the animals never want to get out anyways. I offer safety features like cameras for the unlikely event of an emergency. There is also always somebody watching your animals so your pets would never be alone.

About: I’ve owned cats and dogs for the last 20 years. Have also owned iguanas, turtles, ducks and cared for many others. Have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Will love and care for your pet like it’s my own. No request to big or small or any animal that makes me to nervous. Currently work full time M-F but can do evenings and weekends. My schedule during the week changes daily so reach out and may be able to accommodate. Will follow all instructions to the T. Will treat all animals with love and compassion. “Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”

About: I have been walking & taking care of dogs for years! I am comfortable with any age dog and have experience with younger dogs, including puppies. My schedule is currently pretty open, and I have availability most days of the week to walk or sit your dog! I am open to walking or sitting dogs, including overnight if needed. I fully understand letting someone into your home to watch your dog can be nerve wracking so I like to make sure to ask the necessary questions to ensure I am doing everything to the homeowners standard.

Although I don't currently have any pets of my own, I therefore have plenty of love and attention to give to every animal I care for. I consistently have Wednesdays and Thursdays free all day. I'm also available for early morning visits and evening appointments, allowing me to provide flexible and dependable care. Your pet's safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that every dog and cat has different needs, and I adjust my care to match their energy level, preferences, and routine. When caring for pets in your home, I treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect. I follow feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, keep water bowls full, clean up after pets, and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, playtime, companionship, and affection. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I've had cats my whole life.. they make life better and it's a big responsibility as well. I have taken many older cats in from the shelter and foster fails and they had great lives with us. Would love to babysit your kitty or dog. I have 3 cats in my home and I've had many kittens and elderly cats. We have a catio and many toys to entertain your kitty. Catio, toys, food and love! I can give meds as needed as well, or special foods. I can also go to your home for visits.

About: I had had cats for as long as I can remember, I have also had Guinea pigs and 45 chickens at one point in time I am currently a full time student at central Maine community college so my schedule carries, but I am always available after 2pm. I have modays and Fridays free and I am available most of the day on Wednesday I have 2 cats currently and my girlfriend has 2 dogs. I make sure that all of the animals in my life get plenty of play time and attention.

About: I am recently retired and am just starting out with the Rover. com work platform. My ideal work will involve helping families care for their pets when they can't be there to care for them themselves. I have been in this position with my pets several times and know how stressful it can be to trust somebody that you don’t know to care for your dog or cat family member. I have always had dogs and cats as part of my family, including special needs pets. I currently have one dog with special needs (IVDD and reactivity.) I would be happy to talk with you to see if I can meet the needs of you and your pet. Because I am retired I am fairly flexible with my schedule. However, due to my own pet , I am not available for overnight care or boarding. In addition, I travel a fair amount. So, I am best suited for occasional/one time/short term or fill-in type jobs. I currently have a dog who has physical limitations and reactivity. Because of this, I am unable to board a dog or cat in my home. I am also not available to overnight pet sit in your home.
