About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.

About: I have worked many different animal specific jobs over the years. From pet stores, dog bathing, to overnight doggie daycares. There have always been animals around me at home, especially dogs! Now that my childhood dog (Brownie) is getting older, I’ve also gained more experience with senior canines too. My family is able to help with transportation, but please discuss details with me ahead of time for availability if needed. There are plenty of dog beds, water bowls, and a big bucket of toys laying around inside the house. There is also multiple doggie doors leading from the inside of the garage and into the house (both have slide door blockers as well). I am located on a quiet dirt road and can offer dog walks to get extra energy out. A bathtub is also on the top floor if you’re interested in giving your pooch a relaxing spa day. About: Experienced dog owner with 3 dogs. Two dogs are reactive/timid, one of which has allergies and pancreatic issues so I am familiar with pilling and dogs with special needs. I am currently a full time law student looking for something with a flexible schedule. I have availability in the morning, late afternoon, and evening as well as weekends.
