About: Experienced dog owner with 3 dogs. Two dogs are reactive/timid, one of which has allergies and pancreatic issues so I am familiar with pilling and dogs with special needs. I am currently a full time law student looking for something with a flexible schedule. I have availability in the morning, late afternoon, and evening as well as weekends. I think it’s important to be attentive to your animals needs, and also make sure to follow the rules of the house. Please let me know if you have any specific dos or donts for your pet!

About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.

“Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”

About: I’ve owned cats and dogs for the last 20 years. Have also owned iguanas, turtles, ducks and cared for many others. Have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Will love and care for your pet like it’s my own. No request to big or small or any animal that makes me to nervous. Currently work full time M-F but can do evenings and weekends. My schedule during the week changes daily so reach out and may be able to accommodate. Will follow all instructions to the T. Will treat all animals with love and compassion. About: My love for animals, especially dogs and cats, is so apparent that I have requests for taking care of friends animals very often. I truly enjoy loving on animals and just being playful with them. I'll happily open my heart to your pets and appreciate the time I have with them. I'm a single, homeschooling mom, doing my best while my son is in programs a few days a week. But we can also be very flexible with our schedule. I will do my best to make your furry loves as comfortable as possible while you are away for the day or for many days.

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car. Some special skills that I possess would be I’m very patient loving person who has a very big heart when it comes to animals and I can’t wait to have a future caring for them. About: I grew up with two cats and have always been surrounded by animals, especially dogs. I have a strong love for pets and understand how I’m important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Throughout college, I have regularly helped care for my friends’ dogs, including providing walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they receive the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I am comfortable with different personalities and energy levels and will always treat your pet like they are my own. I am currently a college student on summer break, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Right now, I work a part-time job Monday–Wednesday, but I will be fully done working in about a week and will have full availability to provide care, attention, and support for your pets. I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and creating a routine, so pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I understand how important it is for pets to have consistency and attention, and I would love the opportunity to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have a big back yard with lots of room to play and an air conditioned house. I’ll follow your pets routine and can be crated if needed!

About: I’ve owned, sat for, fed, and walked dogs of all different sized since I was a child. Current owner of two small pups, but lots of room in my schedule to look after a few more. Former Cat owner, with raging kitty fever. I am available for temporary visiting/sitting jobs in the Greater Portland & Gardiner Areas, where I am Working & Located respectively. I have plenty of time in my day before & after work to visit, and room for sitting SMALL dogs. I first start by showing the pet that I am a friendly presence, I understand familiarization can take time, which is why patience is key. As soon as your pet allows me to show it affection, it is my pleasure & love to match that affection back to ensure that an environment of trust & care is effectively fostered. I can & will feed, walk, play with, and clean up after your pets so I can help them still have some of the enjoyment that they get when you’re at home.

About: I grew up on an animal farm taking care of horses, dogs, puppies, cats, bunnies, sheep, and many more! Animals have always been apart of my life and I miss being around in NYC. I work from home and have plenty of time to play or walk with your animals! I am very open in the mornings, mid day, at night and during the weekends as well. I understand and respect that each owner has a different way to care for their animals and ask for detailed instructions on how they would like me to care for their pet. I also want to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. This means going for the same walking route, dog park, keeping the same feeding time, crate time, or tummy rub schedule!

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I am studying for a board exam and working part time. My part time job is flexible, allowing Sat, Sun,Mon, Wed and Fri to have open availability. I am more likely to commit to requests that are received a few days to a week prior. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and loved animals since I was a small child and I completely enjoy caring for them. I have multiple years of experience with different breeds of both cats and dogs, and would love to be able to take care of yours! :) I work part time, which means I’ll have plenty of days where I can take care of your pets! I’m available for boarding on weekends! I am a college student, so availability may vary. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or even caring for cats inside. In your home I would spend as much time with your pets as you’d like. I’m an easy going girl and would happily care for your pets as if they were my own.
