About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I have walked dogs/ been a dog sitter on and off for the last ten years. I volunteer at the greater portland animal shelter, I help assist a dog training class there and am working towards becoming a certified dog trainer. That being said, I also love cats!! I am known as a crazy cat lady (in the best way), and will give all of your animals care and love. My schedule is very flexible, I can work with you to find the right fit. For my dog, we take her on two short walks a day and one longer walk in addition to daily enrichment and training! I believe in positive reinforcement and will love your dogs like the previous babies deserve! This means lots of pets, praise, treats and play time!

About: Who's a good dog? All of them. My step-dog is the love of my life, and I'm the person who talks to animals more than humans at a party. I have experience with: Dogs, cats, fish, rodents, horses, chickens, other birds, reptiles, and more. As a former field biologist, I handled a wide variety of animals and completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) training. I'm open to caring for almost any critter. About: Hello! I am a graduate student looking to give pups some love in my free time. My parents started their own dog daycare, lodging, grooming and training center that will be 15 years in business this summer. For over a decade I spent my school breaks and many weekends helping out will all things dogs so I have quite a bit of experience including training! I also have my own pup, Nova! I am in a full time graduate program so my availability may change week-to-week but I will be available for a few hours each weekend day at the very least! I have experience with dogs who like to pull a bit and/or like to try to chase birds so I am able to safely redirect and walk pups of all sizes and temperaments!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life (labs) but love all breeds and cats as well. Grew up with senior dogs and currently have a 2y old puppy that I train and have taken care of since he was 2m old as well as a 8y old that I’ve trained since she was a puppy. I’m currently taking part time classes at USM in Portland during the week, so I am can be flexible and available during the day. Based on your needs, I am able to accommodate your schedule for weeks or weekends!! I’ve trained my current dogs to leash walk and take them to the park off-leash whenever we go. They are both crate trained as well.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old as a pet sitter, but we got our own family dog as a toddler. Over the years, that experience has grown into a true passion, and I now have 2 dogs of my own. About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.

About: Mom of two little kids with my own two goldens and a ragdoll cat. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 14 and had my first dog of my own (usually two at a time) since I was 22. About: I’ve been talking care of all types of dogs since I was 10. Started small with just family and around the neighborhood but as I got older I’ve had many people ask for me to pet sit or just bring their dog for a walk. Give their animal some love! I’m currently working a part time job and enrolled in college for nursing so college breaks and holidays work best for me. Although, come summer I will be able to have more flexibility due to not being away at college. Always wanting to get exercise and play with animals so if walking your dog or checking in is what you need then I’m the perfect person for that. I have an invisible fence that my puppy Lola uses. She is super friendly but very vocal. I’m in a safe neighborhood where animals are well loved. My backyard is huge with lots of space to run and a great pool that my dog loves to swim in. If we are at your home then I will make sure I am aware of the surroundings before so I can best accommodate for the safety of both myself and the animals.
