About: Who's a good dog? All of them. My step-dog is the love of my life, and I'm the person who talks to animals more than humans at a party. I have additional experience with: Dogs, cats, fish, rodents, horses, chickens, other birds, reptiles, and more. As a former field biologist, I handled a wide variety of animals and completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) training. I'm open to caring for almost any critter. Send me a message so we can discuss what your critter needs. I generally can do afternoon visits M-F ~ 1:30. Weekends generally I have earlier availability. About: I live on a campus, so there is lots of trees and open space to roam with the pups. I have two 70lb dogs at my home, that i always walk. I am currently a highschool student recovering from an injury so trying to keep in shape and also keep a healthy lifestyle away from sports. There is lots of open space to walk your dog, dogs are off limits in the building I live in, but i can provide water and treats on the walk.

About: I’ve handled large animals, small animals, fish, turtles, etc. I love any and all species! I’ve had dogs since I was born, and now have 3 rescue cats. I have experience with both elderly cats and dogs. I’d love to look after your animal(s)! I’m currently a student at SMCC in South Portland. When I’m not in class, I’m available whenever. I have Friday-Sunday off, and Mon-Thurs available from 3:30ish on. I live in a very safe neighborhood, away from main roads. People often walk/run when it’s nice out. I have a good size yard, with a small pond in the front. The house is equipped for almost any animal.

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: I have been helping friends, family, and neighbors with pet care for many years. I have experience with both dogs and cats of many ages. As an active person I’m always ready take your pups for an adventure. I work 4-5 days a week but before and after work I am around to take pups for walks, drop in to have a pet play date, and help out your pet the best I can. For pets who can go a full work day without needing to go outside, I can house sit during my work week. On my days off I am around all day to spend time with your pet. I want to work with you to keep you pet as happy and comfortable as possible. While walking your dog I will keep in on leash unless in a fenced area with a dog with a strong recall.

About: Pets have always been a big part of my life, gaining responsibility with them as I grew up. I have two family dogs currently: a 14-year-old medium-sized rescue mutt and a 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog that I love and cherish! I also have one cat. I have helped in caring for and training them for quite a few years. I am used to following feeding schedules and I love a good dog walk. I have basic training skills and also have experience dealing with minor behavioral issues. I also have helped care for my older siblings' dogs (both of them have sweet Golden Retrievers) and my aunt's two labs. I love all of these dogs (and my cat) and I would love yours too! I am currently self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Occasionally I work weekends and would be away, but I will update my Rover availability as that comes about. I am open to stays of any length because of my current schedule! I am not able to offer stays in my own home, but I am available to stay at your home and care for your dogs there. I have reliable transportation so I can commute to and from your home as needed. I will keep your pets company in a space that is familiar and comfortable to them.

About: I live alone with no pets but miss having my own. I do travel and play golf so I don't want to own a pet at the moment but I miss having a dog or cat around. I have a flexible schedule and even better is your pet likes to ride in the car for short errands or a trip to the lake or the park. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young. Growing up in a household full of pets strengthened my love for animals, and I’ve always been passionate about making sure they are well cared for, loved, and appreciated! I’m currently a full-time student at UVM, but still have plenty of time to take care of your pups! I have a lot of free time in the mornings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and my afternoons are open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! My weekends are also completely open for drop-ins, walks, and overnights! I have dog sat for many different families and am comfortable around all different kinds of dogs.
