Christine was communicative and asked to visit once ahead of time to acclimate herself to my routine with my flock. She took notes and I appreciated her taking the time to know where everything was and her willingness to try to stick to the routine that my birds know and expect. I have a camera that overlooks my backyard. It's there to watch for raccoons or coyotes, etc. I pointed it out to Christine when she came that first day and then she likely forgot about it. I'd get alerts on my phone on the other side of the country, telling me someone was in the yard and that's how I know Christine was always there every morning and evening. I could hear her greeting my girls and chatting with my chicks. She would text here & there as I asked her to, giving me updates and sharing any concerns. When I got home, I could see that my flock had been well cared for and my chicks and pullets had grown! Christine did a wonderful job taking care of my animals while I was away and I'm hoping she'll be available to care for them in the future. I couldn't have asked for more. : )”

About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. “Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I am studying for a board exam and working part time. My part time job is flexible, allowing Sat, Sun,Mon, Wed and Fri to have open availability. I am more likely to commit to requests that are received a few days to a week prior. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).

“Really excellent place, a home kennel with a large outdoor area for dogs to run. She is very knowledgeable and great with all the dogs. My delicate little 145 lb flower Great Dane was a huge weenie when he got there and she had no issues getting him in and getting him to try to be comfortable. She sent videos and updates daily and was always quick to respond. I would definitely book again!!”
