6. Paige G.
About: Hi! I’m a 27-year-old lifelong pet owner with one year of professional walking and housesitting experience and several years of shelter and rehab experience. I primarily work with dogs and cats, but am open to caring for other pets with thorough instructions provided. Though I know the basics of good husbandry for a variety of creatures, you can help me to create the best, most personalized experience for your baby. There is a special place in my heart for senior care, but every pet has a place with me! I currently work part-time and have daytime availability for drop-ins and walks. Day care is per one person, but I am willing to take on multiple pets from the same household that are already used to each other. Sitting is flexible! I follow your lead on how to care for your pet, but there are a few rules I follow. I keep pets leashed outside of the home at all times unless you explicitly indicate otherwise. I am highly cognizant of potential hazards and toxins, and pets are closely monitored outside of the home to prevent ingestion of foreign material (or not so foreign… don’t want them eating poop either)! Inside of the home, I won’t even bring them around. No chocolate, no raisins, etc. Same rules apply to boarding, along with a very thorough sweep of the house prior to your pet’s arrival. Please note that I live on the 3rd floor if your dog is older/arthritic— I can carry smaller dogs up and down, but dogs over 60-70lb may not be able to comfortably board here.

7. Amy S.
“Amy house sat and cared for my cat at least three, maybe hour, week long stays over the past few years. She gives me the comfort I need to go away on vacation. She is trustworthy in all respects and always provides just the right amount of communication. I call Amy the cat Whisperer, she loves animals (even mine, who is not that easy to love). My only hesitation writing this testimonial is that Amy's availability to me will likely become more limited. She is a gem and anyone receiving her services will be extremely.”

8. Elia B.
About: Experienced pet sitter, for multiple kinds of pets, have enjoyed making sure that they are my number 1 priority. I provide good walks when needed and give them all the love and care they deserve. I am always open to hearing how best to take care of your pet I typically work from home Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and am available on weekends. I will keep my schedule as updated as possible. My work is quite independent and flexible so I will be able to provide breaks throughout the day and walk dogs when needed. I always do my best when pet sitting to keep the dogs routine as similar as possible to make them at ease. I make sure to a watch for cues in case they appear stressed and give them attention when needed. It is not always easy for them when their owners are gone.

9. McKinley K.

“McKinley was terrific! She took my very energetic puppy to the dog park and let him run and run. McKinley sent me updates and photos. My dog initially was shy but warmed up to McKinleys sweet personality. I have already booked her again”

10. Corina R.

“Corina was attentive, great communication and was so sweet with our english lab lady!”

11. Natalie R.
About: I grew up having cats, dogs, and up to 14 rabbits at a time. I found a passion for caring for animals about eight years ago when I attended school to get my certification in Veterinary Assisting. During my time in school, I took an internship at my local animal shelter. I assisted in surgery, provided medical care, administered vaccinations, fed, and cleaned over 50 animals a day; I had my hands on every single animal that came through the shelter. Once my internship was over, they asked me to stay as an Isolation Technician and Veterinary assistant. I was employed there for a little over two years. After my time at the shelter, I worked as a Kennel Technician at a private practice that was much more laid back and routine. I would provide care for 1 dog to up to 60 at a time. These dogs ranged from many different breeds and temperaments. I worked there for a little under 4 years. Now, Unfortunately, I no longer work with animals, so I get my puppy fix by taking care of other people's pets. I cannot imagine my life without caring for animals or having them in my life. In my downtime, I will foster for the animal shelter I was once employed at. I will take feral/ nervous cats, bottle baby kittens, or sick animals whom I nurse back to health. I truly hope you can find comfort that your fur baby will be treated as one of my own. If you could ask one of my 5 cats, they'd gloat about how spoiled they are. Not only do I want your pet's visit to go well, but I also want their humans to remain stress-free and feel comfortable leaving their pets with me. I always stress to ask me anything you'd like and "bug" me as frequently as needed. I have recently started a Facebook page which you can check out! It's called N.R Pet Sitting, feel free to give me a like! I wanted to start this so my clients on Rover and off of Rover can get to know me better along with see what we've been up to (animal-wise). As of now, I am a stay-at-home mom. We recently added a little boy to our family back in December. Due to this, I will be able to constantly supervise your pet and provide them with care throughout the day. I can bring your pet out for potty breaks or walks as frequently as needed. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so I will need a leash and a collar/harness to walk them. We have a couple of big fields in our neighborhood that I like to bring the dogs down to and let them roam on my 40-foot leash. I have some dog toys at home in case they want to play. I clean these after each visit/use. Given my background, you can trust that I know how to act during an emergency, (let's hope this never happens). I would like to have the contact information of their vet. In case of an emergency, there are two emergency clinics in Maine, both about 30-45 minutes away. My overall goal is to provide your dog with a routine similar to what they are used to at home. I want to ensure your pup is not stressed and feels comfortable around me and my family.

12. Ella-Rose B.
“Ella Rose is one of the most trustworthy individuals I have had the pleasure of knowing. As a devoted pet owner with four dogs, it is essential for me to find someone who I can rely on to care for them. Ella provides me with peace of mind, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and vigilance with our energetic pets. Additionally, I consistently return to a clean home, as if no one has been there during my absence. Ella Rose embodies kindness, patience, cleanliness, and respect, making her an ideal choice for animal care”

13. Molly P.
“Molly is one of the best pet sitters we’ve ever had! She is easy to communicate with, obviously cares deeply for animals, and one of the few people we can trust with our pets. She puts extra care every time she watches or walks them, and we can tell our pets love her too!”

14. Kaylanna D.
“I have hired Kaylanna to stay with our two bulldogs for over two years now. She is simply amazing. My dogs are like my children and it takes a special person for me to entrust someone with them. Kaylanna is that person. She is caring, trustworthy and very responsible. The dogs love her. She always sends me pictures very dependable and makes great decisions. I highly recommend her!”

15. Eric Z.
“Eric is a compassionate, dedicated, and hardworking individual. He will pay great attention to detail for all that goes into caring for your beloved animals.”

16. Bret T.
“Bret is a caring, attentive, responsible lover of animals. I have hired him for pet sitting, dog walking, evening routines and medication administration. I have 2 needy dogs and an elderly cat and I trust Bret with their care anytime I am not at home. He has been a dedicated caregiver to my animals while I am away for the last 10 years and I couldn’t recommend him more. He is flexible as well as communicative so if plans change, he is able to change with me to make sure my animals are cared for. Absolutely hire him for your pets.”

17. Taryn W.

“Taryn has been a blessing. Our bulldog, Tibbetts gets so excited when arrives and can't wait for her to take him for a walk. She is very dependable.”
