About: I am available and have a very flexible schedule. I have raised my own dog for many years and love to tend to others as well. Responsibility, reliability and trustworthiness are guaranteed along with ensured fun and care. I care for my own dog with daily walks, and basic care such as feeding and playful fun. I have been doing this for most of my life because of my pets and would love to do it for others. For my pet, I put him in a harness and on a leash when going on walks and going potty. In a different house that’s more secluded with more landscape, I allow him to roam freely with cautious eyes. For my clients, it depends on what they prefer whether it’s keeping them on a harness or allowing them to roam freely as well.

About: I would describe myself as lover of all animals and have had many pets while growing up (including Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Fish, and Hamsters). I currently have a dog and 2 cats and they are a big part of my life. I take daily walks and love to bring my furry friends along with me. I will be taking care of your animal at your home according to the guidelines you provide regarding your pets normal routine. Each day, I will provide 2-3 hours of personal attention, inluding prepping meals, lots of love and attention, playing fetch or with chew/tug toys, long walks (for dogs) in the local area or even at other locations if they have a special or favorite path or park they enjoy. I can also administer medications or provide special treats; I can also reinforce and practice basic dog obedience training such as basic commands like "sit", "paw", "lie down", etc. (I'm not a certified dog trainer) if you are working with your dog on those skills. Cats love to cuddle with me and will get as much petting and playing with cat toys as they wish!

About: I’m a grad student (pediatric mental health) with experience with pets of all ages, sizes, breeds and needs. I care for pets for all of my family and friends, including my parents senior dog, best friends kooky mutt, adult cattle dog and vizsla puppy of my own. Also the owner of a stray senior kitty we took in last year that has chronic illnesses 💕 I’m currently in between my clinical placements for grad school, so my schedule is wide open! Working also as a house cleaner a few times a week. I prioritize and respect the needs of both pets and pet parents comfort and safety by working with whatever practices are required for routine, in-home care.

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have worked with all kinds of sizes, temperaments, and personalities. I currently volunteer with the ARLGP, and love the skills I learn every day from the dogs and other animals there. Whether your dog is the easiest to walk, or needs some special attention (and strength!), I am here to help! Your pets may come back with better manners than when they left :) I am a business owner, and am often home at my property in Topsham enjoying the sunshine or local trails with them. Despite my own travel, my schedule is incredibly open and flexible! We have a small portion of our yard that has a light fence, we usually just walk the dogs or take them to the nearby dog park. Our little guy is an ex-escape artist, so we are always double checking, paying attention, and increasing security on walks / outings! Safety is a huge priority!

About: I have worked as a vet assistant and groomer. Pets have been a part of the family for my whole life, everything from bearded dragons and guinea pigs to a wonderful St. Bernard. I might actually be part cat. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Every morning I give the insistent critters their breakfast and some play time before letting the dogs out. Play and cuddle time happens all day. There is a big basket of toys for both dogs and cats in the living room and jars of treats are scattered around the house. Our yard isn't fenced yet, but there is a runner and the yard is surrounded by woods. We're also on a dead end road, so there's no traffic. The cats have litter boxes in the basement, with a cat door for access. That gives them a bit of privacy, the dogs aren't allowed down there. The cats also have a water fountain and food bowls high enough that the dogs can't reach.

About: I grew up having cats, dogs, and up to 14 rabbits at a time. I found a passion for caring for animals about eight years ago when I attended school to get my certification in Veterinary Assisting. During my time in school, I took an internship at my local animal shelter. I assisted in surgery, provided medical care, administered vaccinations, fed, and cleaned over 50 animals a day; I had my hands on every single animal that came through the shelter. Once my internship was over, they asked me to stay as an Isolation Technician and Veterinary assistant. I was employed there for a little over two years. After my time at the shelter, I worked as a Kennel Technician at a private practice that was much more laid back and routine. I would provide care for 1 dog to up to 60 at a time. These dogs ranged from many different breeds and temperaments. I worked there for a little under 4 years. Now, Unfortunately, I no longer work with animals, so I get my puppy fix by taking care of other people's pets. I cannot imagine my life without caring for animals or having them in my life. In my downtime, I will foster for the animal shelter I was once employed at. I will take feral/ nervous cats, bottle baby kittens, or sick animals whom I nurse back to health. I truly hope you can find comfort that your fur baby will be treated as one of my own. If you could ask one of my 5 cats, they'd gloat about how spoiled they are. Not only do I want your pet's visit to go well, but I also want their humans to remain stress-free and feel comfortable leaving their pets with me. I always stress to ask me anything you'd like and "bug" me as frequently as needed. I have recently started a Facebook page which you can check out! It's called N.R Pet Sitting, feel free to give me a like! I wanted to start this so my clients on Rover and off of Rover can get to know me better along with see what we've been up to (animal-wise). As of now, I am a stay-at-home mom. We recently added a little boy to our family back in December. Due to this, I will be able to constantly supervise your pet and provide them with care throughout the day. I can bring your pet out for potty breaks or walks as frequently as needed. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so I will need a leash and a collar/harness to walk them. We have a couple of big fields in our neighborhood that I like to bring the dogs down to and let them roam on my 40-foot leash. I have some dog toys at home in case they want to play. I clean these after each visit/use. Given my background, you can trust that I know how to act during an emergency, (let's hope this never happens). I would like to have the contact information of their vet. In case of an emergency, there are two emergency clinics in Maine, both about 30-45 minutes away. My overall goal is to provide your dog with a routine similar to what they are used to at home. I want to ensure your pup is not stressed and feels comfortable around me and my family.

About: I’ve raised, trained, cared for, and fostered dogs of all sizes and kinds since I was a kid. I own Wilde Kind Farm where we have 75 acres of doggo heaven with fenced zones, agility, ponds, trails, and a giant barn. All dedicated to dogs. I am turning my farm into Doggo Heaven. Building a boarding and daycare facility. I work from home all day, and am here all evening, seven days a week. I have five acres of fenced yard broken into three zones, with more being added. The driveway and house area is entirely fenced as well with a driveway gate. I have three buildings to house dogs. Variety of crate sizes if needed and the house has summer and winter climate controls. The house is managed with doors and gates.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young, but just started pet sitting a couple years ago and have worked in the veterinarian field for 5 yrs now. You can also find me helping out in the kennel some days. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic, usually 4 days a wk. I do work 10 hour days, but always make it a point to go back for a potty break at lunch when housesitting. I have a large, unfenced yard. I do have a tie out or can walk on leash. There are 2 cats in house, that are used to dogs being around. There is also a rabbit, but he is caged.

About: I have been dog sitting for neighbors and family ever since I was 10. I know how to crate train, basic commands, leash train and potty train dogs. I have recently moved from TN to Maine! I am available to house sit, drop in visits, walks, and offer boarding services.
