About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

“Lena is the best! On of our cats has Chronic Kidney Disease and needs to eat 10-12 times/day, and most meals need a medication or supplement included. Additionally, he needs frequent litter box changes, extra water and close monitoring. Lena handled it all with grace and kindness and also made time for playtime with our other cat. My only annoyance is that Rover wouldn’t let me tip her as much as I wanted to.”

About: I've had cats my whole life.. they make life better and it's a big responsibility as well. I have taken many older cats in from the shelter and they had great lives with us. Would love to babysit your kitty or dog. I have 3 cats in my home and I've had many kittens and elderly cats. We have a catio and many toys to entertain your kitty. Catio, toys, food and love! I can give meds as needed as well, or special foods. I can also go to your home for visits.

I practice Eastern techniques of energy work (qi qong and martial arts) and I am a certified Reiki practitioner, so I love to connect with animals as part of that practice (they are great conductors of energy, which is only ever healing and calming for them to experience). I aspire to the highest level of performance and etiquette. I promise to treat your pets and space as sacred; to maintain a clear boundary between me and your possessions; and to leave no trace. My only obligation that takes me out of house are walking other dogs (1 to 3 hours per day) and then the occasional social or other engagement. I will never leave your pet alone for longer than 5 hours. As a remote worker, both for writing and offering healing/coaching services, I work from home and am therefore able to maintain a comforting presence for your pet and provide frequent outdoor time, play, and other care. When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before. About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.
