“Shannon was the best! She took the most wonderful care of our kitties. They were so comfortable to have her come by and feed and play! I had enormous peace of mind while they were in her care! I hope she will be available the next trip.”

“Morgan and my kitties got along fabulously during my 6 day absence and I returned home to happy and well cared for cats! Morgan and I kept in daily contact and the pictures taken during each visit made my day! I will definitely rebook Morgan and gladly recommend Morgan's pet sitting services.”

About: Hello! My name is Sofia and I’m an experienced and reliable pet sitter living in a house with no pets and a big fenced backyard, which allows pets space to play, relax, and feel at home!! 🏡🐾 My entire life I have loved all kinds of animals and I believe dogs are angels on Earth 😇 My current schedule allows me to have more time to care for all your sweet pets and flexibility to match your needs . I have completed CPR dog/cat training credited by American Red Cross to relieve any worries about your pets safety. I have a lot of experience with different breeds , have cared for my own pets and I am the designated family pet sitter/dog whisperer 🤭 . I have raised 2 Jack Russell terriers from their puppy days to their final senior moments. I’m very familiar with dogs that need stimulation & consistent attention. I have also owned a reactive Pitbull, which taught me how to stay calm, observant, and proactive in managing behavior & high stress situations. It also taught me how to handle larger sized dogs that are very strong 🦮 he was a good 120 pounds 😆💪 I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs — whether that’s exercise, quiet companionship, or extra patience. Most of all, I genuinely love animals and caring for them brightens every one of my days ❤️ i understand that pets are FAMILY. I will cuddle with them all night if i can 😂🫶 You’ll receive consistent updates (photos AND videos) so you can feel confident & at ease while you’re away ✈️🐕📸 Right now I am operating on a part time schedule for Rover and try to update my calendar as much as i can. I’m available for walks or drop-ins, and certain days I am available for daycare/boarding too. I live in a house with a very big spacious backyard that is perfect for pets to play, relax, and explore! Pets will always be supervised and clients will always receive updates, photos, and videos. Your pet will be entertained and in a house full of love!! ❤️
“When you select Jessica R. to care for your beloved pet you can rest assured that she will treat them with patience love and lots of CUDDLES. Jessica came to the rescue when my husband and I had an unplanned trip pop up!!! Jessica’s reputation precedes her, and her clients rave about her but I was still hesitant to leave my fur baby with a stranger. Jessica understood my trepidation before I voiced it, and proactively recommended a meet and great to speak with us and meet Peekers, free of charge! After meeting Jessica, you could see she was a true professional dedicated to knowledgeable about caring for animals. But that’s not the best part! My timid to strangers cat fell in love with Jessica after one interaction. She was kind and patient, never rushed Peekers and so gained his trust so quickly. Soon he was showing off with stretches and rolls, and hopping up to get closer to her. Her updates and pictures were wonderful and gave my husband and I peace of mind, knowing Peekers had daily love and care! We highly recommend Jessica R. for your pet care needs, she’s simply the best!”

“I’m so thankful to have found Stephanie. She is always so quick to respond to booking requests and is flexible between drop ins and overnights. You can tell she has a kind spirit from a mile away and I have never been more at ease about leaving Zeke under someone’s care! After returning home from her first overnight stay, the house was in perfect condition.”

“Charla has been amazing with our puppy! She is very attentive and follows our instructions exactly. We know our puppy is in good hands when Charla is with her.”

“Suzanne was excellent. She clearly loves animals and was extremely caring and detailed with the care of Lucy. She gave me such piece of mind knowing she was checking in and giving Lucy her meds while I was away. I would rehire Suzanne in a minute and highly recommend her for taking care of your four-legged family members. So grateful I found her services.”

“Sharon is an amazing communicator and goes above and beyond for the needs of us as well at the puppy! Appreciate everything she does and will recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’ve had all kinds of peta all my 57 years of life’ and promise to treat them with love and care like they were my own. I am taking care of animals full time with the exception of an occasional housekeeping client here and there. I can be available for your babies whenever you need me. I prefer to watch your babies in their own home so they feel most comfortable with their smells and toys. I believe this is far less stressful for them.

“Helped me on a last minute 2 day emergency. Was very flexible and understanding of my schedule. Luna ended up getting sick while I was out of town and debi helped me by giving her medicine and cleaning up her mess. Highly recommend debi”

“Such a great dog sitter, very sweet & kind to my dog & I! Lots of updates which I loved when I was on my trip, definitely will book again on the next trip that I’m not able to bring my girl!”

“Having Romy care for Molly felt like our favorite aunt coming to visit—bringing love, treats, and so much joy. Molly adored her from the moment they met! If you’re looking for the perfect house sitter who will treat your pets and home like family, look no further. Romy is simply the best, and we’ll absolutely be booking her again!”

About: I have been an animal lover since a young child. I have had dogs and cats in my home for over 30 years. My background as a Registered Nurse, Yoga Teacher and Mother of two sons are examples of my caring, calm, nurturing, personality. We have moved to Florida for my husband's current job assignment. I am looking to provide pet care to fill my days, at the same time providing service to others in need. Due to my non-rushed schedule, I can leisurely spend a great deal of time in caring for your pet. Your pet's safety is my number one priority. When walking, I will make sure they are harnessed/leashed securely and away from other dogs in passing. I will observe their mealtime diligently. A nice amount of playtime and cuddle time will be provided. Upon leaving, fresh water will be provided and all doors securely locked.
About: I was raised with cats and dogs for 24 years, have cared for reptiles and other animals (including snakes!), and I have so much love for every animal I see, even if they bring their own challenges. As someone who has been affected by improper outside care of their pets, it is very fulfilling to provide proper care and reassurance to others, knowing the animal is in good hands. I am in between jobs and am completing my classes online, so I am always available for all the love and care your pets need! If they wanna lay on my lap all day, or need to be extra active, I’ll make it work! Their schedule will determine how I structure mine. Whatever makes you happy I will make it work! I understand how unique every pet is, so there is never too much information I can receive about them. I get up around 8/9am every morning and walk the dog as soon as I do, or earlier. I like to do more walks than necessary just to make sure there are no accidents in the house. There is a park right near by that I can take them to as well!
About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life. I’ve always cared for my neighbors pets as a child and continued to care for pets in adult hood. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and fostered kittens. I’m currently working full time Monday-Friday. I have availability for pet services in the mornings and evenings as well as full availability for weekend sittings. I treat clients pets and homes with respect as if it were my own house. I make sure pets are and feel safe loved and comfortable while sticking to their normal routines.
About: Dog mom to three, including two senior pups. Experienced, patient, and attentive—I treat every dog like family and tailor care to their unique needs. 🐾 Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life because I am a devoted pet owner myself. Caring for my own pets has given me a deep understanding of what it truly means to have animals as part of the family, not just companions. I know the routines, responsibilities, and emotional connection that come with feeding, walking, playtime, and comfort. Because of this, I treat every pet in my care with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. I care for pets in my client’s home with patience, consistency, and respect for their routine. I understand that entering a pet’s space requires earning their trust first, so I take time to let them approach me on their terms and build comfort at their pace. My goal is always to create a calm, safe environment where they feel secure, understood, and relaxed while their owner is away. I follow instructions closely, maintain their normal routine, and provide gentle reassurance so each pet feels at home and cared for in their own space.
“Erin did a fantastic job checking in on my two cats while I was on vacation! She had great communication, and I felt reassured that my cats were fed and happy and doing well. She even went above and beyond what I asked for by ensuring their area was cleaned and that they played with their toys and she sent me pictures of them, which reassured me they were doing fine while I was out of town. Would definitely have her back if needed in the future!”

About: I am experienced with breeds of all sizes. I have owned and cared for several large breeds myself, and I know how to handle them with confidence and respect. I am patient and gentle with all animals, but I especially enjoy working with rescue pups. I know how to give them the exercise and attention they need, understand that sometimes rescues need extra patience, and I am always up for a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. I am available 24/7, so I can always be there for your pet when you need me. I have excellent communication skills, so I will keep you updated on your pet's progress and let you know if there are any concerns. I am confident that I can provide your pup with the love, attention, and care they deserve. If you are looking for a pet sitter or walker who is experienced with breeds (both large and small) while being committed to providing the highest level of care, I would be honored to be your choice. My schedule is flexible - I have multiple days off per week (healthcare hours) and I can be available to care for your fur-babies anytime! Currently located in the Miami, FL area. I can not overstate how awesome Shannon is! She was incredibly kind and easy to work with and was wonderful with my pug, Clementine and her needs. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who hopes to have their baby in good hands.

I was really worried about booking any pet sitter because my older kitty was just diagnosed with early kidney disease. Sammie needs to be fed a special diet in a separate room from my other cat (who will eat anything and everything!). Courtney was extremely caring with both of my kitties and followed instructions perfectly. If I could give 10 stars I would and I definitely will hire Courtney for my next trip.

Debi was great , and we were really grateful she was willing to be available when we needed someone quickly. She took cute pics, played w/ Gia, and went the extra mile, hiding treats in Gia’s tower, and freezing some Churu in her slow feeder to help keep her occupied! Debi’s service was very much appreciated

Georgette is a great cat sitter and a wonderful person. Our cat fell in love with her. Georgette took great care of him, fed him, played with him and cleaned up after him. Georgette kept in touch and sent great pictures. She is reliable and trustworthy. Top notch!

I just returned from my trip and I’m hoping I am typing correctly here but I just wanted to say that Ashley was THE PERFECT sitter for my sweet boy cat. I was able to book her at the last minute and she not only came to my rescue but surpassed all my expectations for what one looks for in a cat sitter. She automatically sent me photos & a video, and asked all the right questions to help aid in taking care of Sachi. I couldn’t have been more pleased with her service and I’m hoping to book her in the future. I loved her care & concern to details and to Sachi’s safety. Ashley was awesome.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
