“Can’t say enough good things about Kristy! She was so great with communicating and even went above and beyond cleaning my dogs throw up and vacuuming since they left crumbs from their treats. She’s a total sweetheart and we will use her again for sure. 5 stars trustworthy and great with dogs!”

About: I've been taking care of pets for over 5 years, from dogs to bearded dragons. I love staying active and taking pets for long walks. If your pet needs medication or special food, don't worry, I've got it covered. Since I'm usually at home, I can provide round-the-clock care for your pets. I'm an online student at the University of Florida so I have a very flexible schedule. Im typically at home so I can provide around the clock care for your pets. I have a dedicated sunroom for boarding, equipped with several crates and beds. I clean the toys and beds after each visit. The room connects to an outdoor patio, allowing pets to enjoy both spaces during their stay with me. My yard features a large shady mango tree, and I make sure to play with the pets in the yard at least once a day.
About: I have always had my own fur babies until the last few years. My last dog, Gucci lived 18 years. I have pet sat for others all my life, for friends and through word of mouth. Old, young, big and small. Dogs, cats, fish and even a tortoise 🐢 I can provide care and love for your fur baby, just as I would for my own! I have true and deep love for them! ❤️ My roommate has a very playful tea cup Yorkie puppy! So, if I am hosting a fur baby, they must get along with other dogs. She has got along with all the dogs I've boarded in my home, and they play well together! I am currently only working part-time and enjoy having fur babies in the house. And I also enjoy walks in the neighborhood and play time with them. I live in a beautifully shaded, pet friendly neighborhood, where I enjoy walking with my fur clients. If your fur baby enjoys a little interaction with other dogs, we will cautiously "say hello" otherwise we will keep our distance. I'm a pretty good judge of their body language and signs of anxiety or aggression.

I’ve also looked after pets for friends and colleagues while they travel. People trust me with their pets, and I feel comfortable around animals of all sizes. I have experience with boxer, pit bull, terrier and mixed breeds. I find great joy in walking, playing, and spending time with them. When I care for your pet, I will ensure they are well-fed, receive regular walks, and get plenty of love and attention. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends. If my son doesn't need my help with my grandson or pets, I'm available full-time. Holidays or weekends are not a problem for me at all. I am able to take care of your dog in your home, in a familiar environment where it feels safe. In my small apartment, however, I am able to offer a safe environment exclusively for cats.

This was the third time I’ve booked with Sawittree. She’s extremely reliable and punctual. Not only has she taken such good care of my kitty Tinker Bell, she even assisted with issues regarding my apartment if something happened she wouldn’t neglect it. I highly recommend her as a caregiver for you furry friends.

First time user of Rover and I went thru 3 people before I found a standout gem. A true professional. Little older than other pet sitters and more responsible. Christina makes your worries about leaving your pets - go away. For example, I needed someone who could give one of my pets medication. Slightly complicated but Christina came over of her own accord and did a practice run. She of her own accord watered plants (never asked), cleaned out litter box, took everyday videos of pets, and cleaned up vomit. Who does that? She’s remarkable and I want to share her. I will ONLY be using her from now on as no one else can compete with her. I lucked out.

Can’t say enough good things about Kristy! She was so great with communicating and even went above and beyond cleaning my dogs throw up and vacuuming since they left crumbs from their treats. She’s a total sweetheart and we will use her again for sure. 5 stars trustworthy and great with dogs!

I was a little nervous to leave the pets as I have never left them overnight before but they were in the absolute best hands with Daniel. He really went above and beyond to care for my dog and cats and they were all very happy when we came home. He kept me updated throughout the day, sent pics and really gave them so much love. My dog looked like he lost his best friend today waiting for Daniel to come. I would absolutely use Daniel again, and recommend him to anyone looking for great care for your babies.
I am very happy with the day visits Monika's did for my two cats, one of which is elderly and very needy. She clearly loves my cats and she was equally as respectful of my home. She was punctual, communicative and very professional. I would trust her to take care of my cats abd home again no hesitation!

Stella is the best! She’s incredibly accommodating with my crazy schedule, and with my husband being in the Navy, life is always throwing us curveballs. She has helped with everything from dog walks to checking on our two cats while we’re away. The biggest sign of how great she is? My cats absolutely love her! When she came by the other day to walk my dog, both cats ran right over to greet her. She’s reliable, caring, and wonderful with all of our pets. We will definitely continue booking her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter or dog walker. 🐾❤️

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
