We have a fenced yard which the gates are always securely closed and a a large family room in the back of the house for lots of playtime. Water bowls are always full and 2 meals provided for our dog plus snacks when needed. We have a couple of dog beds in the back room plus lots of dog toys .

Let me know if your dog needs extra time getting to know me . I will understand if she is a nervous pet and give her time . Also let me know if your do f needs any special “toppers” on her food to help her eat it and and if any supplements need to be added .
A typical day
The day would begin with letting your dog out to relive himself, then to have him eat and rest a bit . Afterwards when your pet is up for it we would either go for a nice walk or play a game of fetch in the yard . We can also throw the frisbe around . We would have water and chill breaks , maybe cuddle to a favorite show . Then later it would be meal time again and then time to either take a relief break or a nice walk .

Pet care experience
Ever since I was young I loved animals. I grew up always having dogs and cats in our home . Often as a teenager I would get asked by neighbors to either walk their dog or look in on their cat . So as an adult I have always had a dog and we consider our dog not just a pet but part of our family . So naturally I know how to feed , bathe , and administer meds to a dog when needed . I have just recently retired from the US Postal Service after 28 years . In my daily deliveries I had come in contact with many dogs and have learned how to deal with different temperaments. I also became friends with many dogs and even “watched “ a couple over the years . Since I am now retired my husband and I love bringing our dog Dave to the local dogbeach on the weekends and enjoy walks to the reflection pond nearby. Being retired means I can finally do something I am passionate about with no pressure “DOGS”!!! However I now have plenty of time to care for your fur babies as well ! I am so excited to start this chapter. I am into fitness and nutrition ( a former marathoner) so I am always up for walks and / or throwing the ball/ frisbee around .We have a nice fenced good sized yard for running around and also an enclosed huge room in the back of our house . Even if it’s just cuddles and chill time your pup wants I’m open for that as well . I truly love dogs and would treat your dog as I treat our dog which is like family .

Maureen was an awesome dog sitter! We were out of town for almost a week, and she came to fill in the gaps between when our family member would be at the house, and at work. The dogs responded really well to her! She gave them the attention that we hoped for, and made sure that all was in order. Very easy to communicate with! She sent daily photos of them, and it was so great to know they were in great hands! Highly recommend!
