And even though I don’t currently have a permanent pup of my own, caring for dogs continues to be a big part of my life through sitting for friends, neighbors, and volunteering with local rescues. I live in a quiet townhouse within a gated, dog-friendly community. While I don’t have a fenced yard, there is green space in both front and back for potty breaks and a safe neighborhood for walks. Because of the home layout, dogs 60 lbs and under tend to be the best fit, and dogs that require constant outdoor running may be happier in a different environment. “I as very happy using Farrah for the first time. She seems to run things like a well-oiled machine. The house is clean and quiet and she makes sure to keep the dogs separated or in groups that will get along. Calvin had a bit of a limp when I dropped him off Sat morning so she kept him away from hyper puppies and had him take it easy. I was surprised to hear that he wanted to play with a squeaky toy with her because he usually doesnt care about toys. I was also surprised to hear that he ate because he usually doenst in a strange or new place. Farrah also communicates promptly and well. I will use her again in the future.”

About: I have had pets my entire life. My current dog is a rescue who i trained/raised from 3 months of age. When I first got him, I was also dog sitting for my close friends 6 month old puppy for 2 whole weeks. I spent 5 weeks taking care of my puppy, my sisters two hyper labs, and a german shepherd with an extreme fetch addiction. Needless to say, I have experience handling puppy chaos and high energy dogs. Pets are always safe and entertained in my care. When it comes to boarding in my home, your pet will receive all the love and care as my own dog. Your pet can join us on our daily walks of roughly 1-1.5 miles! I work from home, minus my weekly dog walking gigs with my various returning clients in the area. While boarding with me, our dogs would not be left alone for more than 2-3 hours at a time, maximum. I always make time for my dog, meaning I will always make time for your dog as well. They have my full attention when needed. Tons of toys inside and outside. Treats and snacks are abundant. Water always accessible. I love being a part of dog play as well! Your pet can also join me and Blitzen on our long morning walks, or if they like shorter walks, they can have their own walk or a shortened walk with Blitzen!
