“Tucker enjoyed his stay. Judy went above and beyond to keep us updated the whole time. She sent lots of pictures and videos. We were very comfortable knowing he was in great hands.”

“Coreen was great with our yellow lab Roxy! She sent us daily pictures letting us know how she was doing. This was our first time using Rover and her and will definitely be booking again with her next time.”

“Meredith is an amazing animal caretaker!! She was able to book me last minute which I was so grateful for. Meredith sent picture updates frequently and kept my pup very busy! He was so happy at her home. Thank you Meredith and family for your help!”

“Camille and Alan are honest warm and caring people. They are genuine. They cared for my Sami dog like she was one of their own dogs and one of their family members <3. Everyday we received photos messages and the most beautiful and fun videos of their adventures to parks, beaches, trails and an arboretum. At every point of my dogs stay with Camille and Alan I felt comfortable knowing my little baby Sami was VERY well taken care of. During storms Alan and Camille helped comfort Sami with hugs and by giving her our prescribed anxiety medicine. She was safe and cared for. Sami adjusted well right after drop off and took to Alan and was a great house guest. She is 9lb and is generally a very clean well mannered dog. Sami had a super vacation with Camille and Alan and went on awesome adventures- much more than she does at home (we have 2 small kids). So I am grateful she had a great experience, a vacation of her own, and got outside more often than usual. Thank you so much Camille and Alan. :)”

“He was very up to date and relaxed and kept my dogs happy and comfortable. He was super nice and the place was beautiful and tidy I would have my dogs stay here again hot fur a great job waving my dogs thank you so much. My dogs really felt comfortable and relaxed I was pleased. The pool was an added touch.”

“First time booking with Fernanda and our pup had the best time! Fernanda was extremely attentive and kept us updated all throughout his stay. He was so well cared for, we would absolutely book again!”

“Finding someone you trust to watch your dog is a big deal! Adrian was wonderful with Mica and sent many pictures where he looked very happy. The doggy playmates were wonderful for him. Adrian has an obvious love and compassion and it shows in Mica when he came home. We will be using her again.”

“Saúl was absolutely amazing with Tommy! Tommy is a very nervous dog, and Saúl went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe and comfortable. He kept me updated throughout the entire stay with photos, videos, and detailed messages about how Tommy was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. He was very attentive, took Tommy out regularly, and genuinely cared about his well-being. It was clear that he treated Tommy like his own dog. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. I highly recommend Saúl to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and responsible. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Tommy. Saul is officially Tommy’s uncle ❤️”

“Emilie and Jimmie treated Teddy just like their own furr baby during his week stay with them. Emilie took many photos and videos and you could see Teddy smiling! Highly recommend Emilie!! Thank you sooo much for taking such good care of my boy while I was away!!!”

“Thank you Donna for the peace of mind and the amazing care you gave to our Nikki (Nichola). Donna sent us so many cute videos while we were on vacation. It was the first time in 3 years that we were able to take a vacation as a family. Donna is caring towards pets. I would recommend Donna to anybody that is looking for a loving dog sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Natasha and her family were fantastic with my dog Thor. Attention, play, walks, and lots of love the whole time he was with them. My only complaint is that my dog may not be happy at home anymore after getting spoiled so rotten by Natasha and her family!”

“We were going on cruise and needed someone to watch our little Maddie for 10 days. Missy made it easy for us. She took her on walks, and has a great fenced in area. She kept us informed with texts and photo’s, throughout the stay. If we are in that area again, we would definitely use her.”
“Bailey seemed happy when I picked him up. Sheena and Bailey seemed to have a nice connection. Sheena met some of Bailey's challenges with grace :-) I would absolutely use her again.”

“Arlen was great. We did a meet and greet before boarding to make sure everything was a good fit, and Lady, who is normally a very anxious dog, seemed super comfortable right away and immediately started exploring the space. Arlen sent daily pictures and was very accommodating throughout the stay. My flight was canceled the day I was supposed to pick Lady up, and Arlen truly saved the day by being flexible and able to continue accommodating her. It spared me the added stress of worrying about boarding plans while already dealing with the stress of canceled travel. I would absolutely book with him again.”

“Our two toy poodles stayed with Lina and her family. She iz amazing with dogs and always made sure to send us pictures and updates. We’ll definitely send our doggies for a vacation in her house again!”

“Sian and her husband are the dream team ! They saved me twice now with a last minute booking. My puppy is always so happy to visit that I’m scared he won’t come back to me lol. She always kept me updated with photos & text. The best part was when we got delayed returning home, she happily watched my pup way past scheduled pick up ! Book them now !!!!”

“Austin &Hugo are amazing!!! They were incredibly welcoming right from the start, even inviting us into their home for a meet and greet, which really set our minds at ease. Their warm and friendly family, including their sweet kids, made it clear that Maya and Dash were in excellent hands. They provided regular updates and went above and beyond by accommodating our last-minute booking, even with our flight arriving at night. We felt comforted and cared for throughout our time apart, and we’re already looking forward to booking them again as our regular sitter. Highly recommended!”

Eduardo was fantastic! He took such great care of our two dogs and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. He was incredibly accommodating when our plans changed at the last minute, and we really appreciated the daily pictures and videos. It was clear our dogs were happy, well cared for, and loved. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eduardo to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter, and we’ll definitely be using him again!

Elyse is the perfect sitter. She keeps you updated with pictures, video, and text messages. She has a backyard. And figures out what your dog's needs are. She watch 2 of my dogs figured out one like to. Sit on the couch with people and the other liked his own little space. She even went as far. As to make a little play pin one can crawling and out of. My dogs are usually distressed. If I leave them. When I picked them up, they were happy to see me but, looking at Elsye like they wanted her to get in the car and come home with them. l
We had a great experience! Georgia and Chase stayed for a few days, and we felt they were in good hands. Communication was easy, and we received updates and photos during their stay, which gave us peace of mind. When we picked them up, both dogs seemed relaxed and well cared for. Thank you for taking such good care of them! We would be happy to book with you again in the future.

Reagan watched Notch for me while I went on a 16 day international vacation. The stay was last kind of last minute as my dad had to go out of town at the same time and he is usually the pup-sitter. She was very amicable and easy to communicate with and responded to all messages very quickly. We did a meet and greet and all went swimmingly. She came to pick up Notch from my home. He appeared to enjoy his time with her from the pics and vids she sent. She was attentive to his dietary needs and his exercise requirements (he loves to chase his ball) and his ear and back scratch quotas. I’d happily use her to sit my pup if the need ever arises again in the future.

I have used other Rover sitters in the past for boarding our dog, however this is the first time a sitter has posted pictures and videos on a daily basis showing me how my dog was doing without me having to ask. I hate posting such good reviews because if and when I need to use Abdul in the future I don't want him to be so booked he can not watch my dog again but I highly recommend him for anyone that needs a dog sitter or boarding. Anytime I sent a message prior to boarding or during the boarding time he always responded in a timely manner.
We left our 10year old lab, who isn’t used to dog sitters, with Natasha for 8 nights. A few days before we dropped him off, she suggested a meet and greet, which was so nice and it went well. She was high communicative and sent us pictures. Gunner got to go swimming and they played fetch with him — his two most favorite things! They took great care of him! Excited to use her again the next time we’re out of town!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
