“Donna was super attentive and took great care of my senior pup! We loved her regular updates with videos! She was also very accommodating to my pick up and drop off scheduling needs!”

“Coreen and her family were great to our fur baby. We received update pictures everyday, very attentive to all of her needs plus she received lots of love and affection. Communication was great and made us feel comfortable for the days we were gone. Would 100% recommend this family and will definitely be our go to in the future.”

About: Pets have been a huge part of my life — from my chocolate lab who thought she was a lap dog to my sweet tiny toy poodle with a big attitude. I became the “official dog auntie” in my friend group, and now I’m the one they call whenever they need someone loving and reliable to watch their pets. I’ve also owned a cockatiel (yes, a bird with major personality), so I’m patient, gentle, and used to earning an animal’s trust. I take my time getting to know each pet so they feel comfortable, safe, and spoiled with love while you’re away. I own my own business so I have the flexibility to work from home and set my schedule to adapt to your furry baby’s needs. My home is clean, peaceful and safe. No stairs in the apartment, your furry baby can freely roam and choose a room to stay where he/she feels most comfortable.
“Fernanda is the BEST! She keeps me updated throughout the entire stay with photos and videos. She cares for my dog as if my dog was her own. Unfortunately, I am relocating but I cannot thank Fernanda and her family enough for caring for my dog while I’m away and ALWAYS being available and willing to take her in even when it’s short notice. Thank you, Fernanda!!!!”

“Camille and Alan are honest warm and caring people. They are genuine. They cared for my Sami dog like she was one of their own dogs and one of their family members <3. Everyday we received photos messages and the most beautiful and fun videos of their adventures to parks, beaches, trails and an arboretum. At every point of my dogs stay with Camille and Alan I felt comfortable knowing my little baby Sami was VERY well taken care of. During storms Alan and Camille helped comfort Sami with hugs and by giving her our prescribed anxiety medicine. She was safe and cared for. Sami adjusted well right after drop off and took to Alan and was a great house guest. She is 9lb and is generally a very clean well mannered dog. Sami had a super vacation with Camille and Alan and went on awesome adventures- much more than she does at home (we have 2 small kids). So I am grateful she had a great experience, a vacation of her own, and got outside more often than usual. Thank you so much Camille and Alan. :)”

“Sandra and Jonathan are super nice and did a wonderful job with Sancho and Lola! We were away on vacation missing them but they kept sending us pics that definelty gave us peace of mind. They had a wondeful time with Sandra and Jonathan. :) thank you tons!”

“Chiara and Mandi did a fantastic job! From the first photo we received of Kohl, he looked like he was smiling and at ease. They kept him entertained and Kohl also made a new doggy friend, their little dog is very friendly. Their house is super clean, the yard is clean and safe, they are very communicative and sent a bunch of cute photos and videos which is highly appreciated. I highly recommend them!”

“Arlen was great. We did a meet and greet before boarding to make sure everything was a good fit, and Lady, who is normally a very anxious dog, seemed super comfortable right away and immediately started exploring the space. Arlen sent daily pictures and was very accommodating throughout the stay. My flight was canceled the day I was supposed to pick Lady up, and Arlen truly saved the day by being flexible and able to continue accommodating her. It spared me the added stress of worrying about boarding plans while already dealing with the stress of canceled travel. I would absolutely book with him again.”

“Atlas had a wonderful week with Natasha and her family! From the moment I dropped him off, I felt confident he was in great hands. Natasha sent pictures throughout the stay showing their walks and adventures together, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. When I picked Atlas up, he was calm and happy—honestly, he seemed like he wanted me to leave him there with his new friends rather than take him home! That tells me everything I need to know about the care and attention he received. I'll absolutely be booking with Natasha again for my upcoming trips. Highly recommended!”

“I left my frenchie with Sian for 2 weeks and she took great care of him. She consistently sent pictures and videos and was very responsive! I’d highly recommend her and would use her in future dog boardings :)”

“I highly recommend leaving your sweet baby with Natalie. Natalie was such a wonderful host and caregiver to our 14 year old dachshund Charlie. I was at complete ease while he was there with her.”

“Ryan was fantastic! He’s such a nice easy going guy and my dog Daisy seemed very comfortable with both him and his very nice wife. Their house is lovely, in a nice neighborhood, and really set up for dogs. He also sent me cute pics every day. We have already booked him for our next trip!”

“Finding someone you trust to watch your dog is a big deal! Adrian was wonderful with Mica and sent many pictures where he looked very happy. The doggy playmates were wonderful for him. Adrian has an obvious love and compassion and it shows in Mica when he came home. We will be using her again.”

“Emilie took care of my old lady Zoey while our house was being tented for termites. Zoey is almost 14 and had never slept away from home before. I did have her go once a week for daycare to get familiar with Emilie and being around new dogs. Zoey happily walked right in the house as usual, did well during the day the first night she yelled a bit but Emilie and Jimmie calmed her down and the next night she went right to sleep. I highly recommend Emilie and Jimmie, they are fabulous and treat your dog like it's their own. They are also very good at communicating and send lots of pictures throughout the stay. You can't go wrong with choosing them.”

“I had such a great experience with Eduardo. He stayed with my dog for three nights and took wonderful care of him. I could tell he was comfortable and happy the whole time. Communication was excellent—I received regular updates and photos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely recommend Eduardo to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Vivian was amazing! I was very nervous about leaving my puppy for three days, but she immediately made me feel comfortable. She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me great peace of mind. I loved that there were children and another dog around to play with my puppy, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. My puppy came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her! 😊🐾”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lighthouse Point
We had a great experience! Georgia and Chase stayed for a few days, and we felt they were in good hands. Communication was easy, and we received updates and photos during their stay, which gave us peace of mind. When we picked them up, both dogs seemed relaxed and well cared for. Thank you for taking such good care of them! We would be happy to book with you again in the future.

Reagan watched Notch for me while I went on a 16 day international vacation. The stay was last kind of last minute as my dad had to go out of town at the same time and he is usually the pup-sitter. She was very amicable and easy to communicate with and responded to all messages very quickly. We did a meet and greet and all went swimmingly. She came to pick up Notch from my home. He appeared to enjoy his time with her from the pics and vids she sent. She was attentive to his dietary needs and his exercise requirements (he loves to chase his ball) and his ear and back scratch quotas. I’d happily use her to sit my pup if the need ever arises again in the future.

I have used other Rover sitters in the past for boarding our dog, however this is the first time a sitter has posted pictures and videos on a daily basis showing me how my dog was doing without me having to ask. I hate posting such good reviews because if and when I need to use Abdul in the future I don't want him to be so booked he can not watch my dog again but I highly recommend him for anyone that needs a dog sitter or boarding. Anytime I sent a message prior to boarding or during the boarding time he always responded in a timely manner.
We left our 10year old lab, who isn’t used to dog sitters, with Natasha for 8 nights. A few days before we dropped him off, she suggested a meet and greet, which was so nice and it went well. She was high communicative and sent us pictures. Gunner got to go swimming and they played fetch with him — his two most favorite things! They took great care of him! Excited to use her again the next time we’re out of town!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
