“This was our dog Casey’s first - and hopefully not last - booking with Vivian. She sent pictures every day which made it easy to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. It was a pleasure meeting the family and we thank them all for taking such good care of Casey. We hope to book again for our next vacation and would recommend Vivian to anyone else looking for a trusted sitter.”

“Ryan was fantastic! He’s such a nice easy going guy and my dog Daisy seemed very comfortable with both him and his very nice wife. Their house is lovely, in a nice neighborhood, and really set up for dogs. He also sent me cute pics every day. We have already booked him for our next trip!”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with someone and I truly mean I could not have found a better person to take care of her. Jordyn is everything you could ask for in a dog sitter. She kept me at ease the entire time and was very communicative. Her passion for animals is amazing and you should 100% leave your pet with her you will not regret it for a second.”

“Fernanda was fantastic with taking care of my exuberant young lab! She had our initial visit and made Remi completely at ease. Booked our first stay and cannot say enough good things! Updates during the day ( with pics n videos) made my trip away so much easier knowing Remi was relaxed and well cared for. Thank you so much for the great service and care!!”

“Finding someone you trust to watch your dog is a big deal! Adrian was wonderful with Mica and sent many pictures where he looked very happy. The doggy playmates were wonderful for him. Adrian has an obvious love and compassion and it shows in Mica when he came home. We will be using her again.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Judy was amazing! She took great care of my dog Stitch over the weekend and kept me updated the whole time. Stitch looked so happy and relaxed when I got home. It’s clear she really loves dogs and treats them like her own. I highly recommend Judy to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and knew from a young age that I wanted to work with them. I even dreamed of becoming a veterinarian when I was younger! Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for pets through pet sitting and dog walking for family members and others. I have a 6-year-old Goldendoodle named Gryff that stays with family, and I currently live with two adorable and friendly cats, Rosemary and Basil. Being around animals has taught me how important patience, responsibility, and attentiveness are when caring for someone’s beloved pet. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and administering oral medication. I’m an active, responsible, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a long walk, or some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’d be happy to help make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! 🐾💕 Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I enjoy making time to give each pet plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits, as well as boarding in my home. I work weekday mornings, so I’m generally available in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and needs. I prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their own home. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and routines. I’m responsible, attentive, and respectful of every pet’s boundaries. Since I have two cats of my own, I’m also mindful of safe introductions and keeping pets separated when necessary. 🐾
“Arlen is amazing! I always feel completely comfortable leaving Lady with him. I know she’s in great hands and well taken care of, which gives me so much peace of mind whenever I’m away. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets.”

“Duran is always so great with my dog and she loves it there. He has two very chill dogs who my introverted dog gets along well with. He’s always accommodating and responsive, and his family that I’ve met seem lovely too. Will gladly book many more times.”

“Absolutely a lovely person. She is very courteous and makes sure she understood Loki’s quirks and strengths. She ensured Loki was well tended even trying to see what doggy bed Loki would feel more comfortable. She wrote to me frequently and sent photos of Loki and videos. I liked her from the meet and greet. She was very in tune with Loki. Loki loved fetch and Kelly played with him a lot. I will definitely call on Kelly again to take care of Loki !!!!”

“We are so happy to have found such a loving home to watch our dogs. Camille and Allen took such great care of our babies. They sent us pictures and videos of our dogs having a vacation of their own! It was such a relief to know that they were in loving hands. Thank you again for everything!”

“As always, my boy, had a fabulous time with Emilie and Jimmie, and all his furry friends. Even think he found a girlfriend this time around! ❤️”

“It was our first time boarding our dogs and we were very nervous. We have been very pleased with the care Coreen provided our babies. She messaged us and sent us pics of our dogs while they were under her care. We will for sure leave our dogs with her next time we need to.”

“Thatielly did a great job with my dog (Tango)! Tango is a senior dog, and Thatielly made sure that Tango was well cared for, clean, and happy. We will definitely be working with Thatielly again, thank you so much for your kindness!”

“Natalie is an absolute sweetheart and gave the best care I could ask for my dog!! She kept me up to date the entire stay with pictures and how he was behaving. She also helped calm taco during his fourth of july anxiety attacks by nestling him like he needed. Def am going to use her services again! Thank you Natalie”

About: I have 3 little dogs and I love them, I usually take care of my friends dogs whenever they have to go on trips, and they all get attached to me. I’m currently retired so I have plenty of time to be with the pets, I have a very flexible schedule and I have a house with a big backyard I have a fenced backyard with no pool, other dogs to keep them company, plenty of free time so they don’t have to be alone, and a lot of time to play.
“Sawittree was a wonderful caregiver with our dog Marli, while we were away for 11 days. She sent us pictures several times a day and kept us updated on Marli’s daily activities. Marli seemed very happy staying at her home, and we were very pleased with Marli’s care! I highly recommend Sawittree for your pet’s care. She is very sweet and even made an extra effort to temp Marli to eat her meals, as she usually won’t eat for day or 2, when placed in a new environment.”

“Amazing sitters! My dog is 18 and very particular…he was at another sitter’s home and was completely uncomfortable. Hugo & Austin Took over for that sitter while I was on vacation across the country. They took a bad and stressful situation and turned it into a huge sigh of relief! We found our new sitters for every time we need to leave our little old man for a few days!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hillsboro Beach
Elyse is the perfect sitter. She keeps you updated with pictures, video, and text messages. She has a backyard. And figures out what your dog's needs are. She watch 2 of my dogs figured out one like to. Sit on the couch with people and the other liked his own little space. She even went as far. As to make a little play pin one can crawling and out of. My dogs are usually distressed. If I leave them. When I picked them up, they were happy to see me but, looking at Elsye like they wanted her to get in the car and come home with them. l
Reagan watched Notch for me while I went on a 16 day international vacation. The stay was last kind of last minute as my dad had to go out of town at the same time and he is usually the pup-sitter. She was very amicable and easy to communicate with and responded to all messages very quickly. We did a meet and greet and all went swimmingly. She came to pick up Notch from my home. He appeared to enjoy his time with her from the pics and vids she sent. She was attentive to his dietary needs and his exercise requirements (he loves to chase his ball) and his ear and back scratch quotas. I’d happily use her to sit my pup if the need ever arises again in the future.

I have used other Rover sitters in the past for boarding our dog, however this is the first time a sitter has posted pictures and videos on a daily basis showing me how my dog was doing without me having to ask. I hate posting such good reviews because if and when I need to use Abdul in the future I don't want him to be so booked he can not watch my dog again but I highly recommend him for anyone that needs a dog sitter or boarding. Anytime I sent a message prior to boarding or during the boarding time he always responded in a timely manner.
We left our 10year old lab, who isn’t used to dog sitters, with Natasha for 8 nights. A few days before we dropped him off, she suggested a meet and greet, which was so nice and it went well. She was high communicative and sent us pictures. Gunner got to go swimming and they played fetch with him — his two most favorite things! They took great care of him! Excited to use her again the next time we’re out of town!

Felipe was absolutely wonderful. I had never used rover before so I was really nervous about leaving my baby with someone else. Nikki felt so safe and comfortable with him, Felipe was so flexible and accommodating to my crazy last minute request. He regularly sent pictures and updates and made me feel reassured throughout her stay with him. Will 100% be booking Felipe again!

This is the second time we have had Christina watch Bernie and We are beyond grateful for her. She connected with our sweet boy so well and he was excited to see her again. She’s so easy going and keeps us in the loop every couple hours. It made it so our vacation was completely stress free and he had lots of love and play time. We couldn’t be more happy with everything she’s done. We will definitely be booking Christina again when we need to travel! 20/10!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
