About: Because I’m in medical school I have a unique perspective on pet care in the sense that I am calm, thorough, and empathetic! I also have a dog of my own with medical needs so I am equipped to care for any pet. About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

About: I was born into a family with a dog and have had a dog in my life ever since! Now I have a 7 year old pittie mix who is my whole world. I trained her and continue to do so to help her acquire new skills or just for mental stimulation. While I was a late-in-life cat lover, I now have 2 cats of my own who i cant imagine life without. Over the years I’ve had many friends, family, and coworkers trust me with their fur babies whether it was for a single walk, a feeding and play time, or stay overs while they were gone. I even have experience administering medicine to special needs animals. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to your needs. Usually I am free in the mornings and afternoons. Evenings are tougher for me, but we can make something work! Please note: I’m unavailable after 4pm on Wednesdays. Drop ins: 1 30-minute visit for potty break, feeding, medicine administration, and/or play time Walks: 1 walk up to 30 minutes long Stays: includes 1 drop in (30 minutes) during the day and stay overnight (8 hrs max). I will always want to do a meet and greet before caring for your animal whether I’m providing a walk or a staying with your fur baby over night. I want to make sure I’m the best fit and that you feel comfortable with your pet in my hands. I will defer to you in terms of safety and care (beyond the basics) as you know your pet best. As I get to know your pet, I’ll understand their preferences and triggers which will allow me to provide them with the best care.
