About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.

About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

I love animals and will do whatever is needed to keep them healthy and happy while you are away! I can help with feeding, walking, medication, litter boxes, play. I am highly responsive to animal signals and can interpret when an animal is feeling skiddish or aggressive and may need a different approach to maintain safety. About: I've been volunteering at my local animal shelter for almost 2 years now. I hang out with pets whenever I get the chance, so I've walked a friend's dog here and there. While I've fed medication meatballs to dogs, have observed vet techs handling many dogs for medication and triage, and know some canine body language basics, I'm still looking to expand my hands-on dog care experience, as I'm much more experienced with cats at the moment. I'd love to care for your well-behaved dog for an affordable price as part of my learning experience! I love hanging out with friendly dogs of all sizes but for walking I am only comfortable taking medium to small dogs to start. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can work with early mornings or last minute bookings as long as we iron out the details before you leave. I prefer to meet your pet before we book to make sure that we can make sure we're a good fit. As a shelter volunteer I follow Fear Free Shelter principles and focus on minimizing stress and fear while maximizing enrichment. I will also protect your babies with good hygiene, including hand washing and a change of clothes if I work with another household beforehand. While I've only administered medication by mixing with treats, I can work with detailed instructions if you've had success with other techniques before. I am not squeamish about chores and I do well with checklists, so let me know everything that your pet needs!
