“We are so glad to have found Amanda! Our Scarlet absolutely loves her and gets so excited when Amanda comes over. We have used Amanda many times in the past for a few hours at a time, but this is the first time we had Amanda stay overnight for 4 nights with Scarlet. We knew Scarlet would be in great hands with Amanda and that Scarlet would be very comfortable with her. Scarlet has special needs (separation anxiety and diabetes) requiring oral medication three times per day and insulin twice per day. Amanda was able to accommodate her needs, stayed on top of her schedule, and sent us updates along the way. We loved getting pictures and videos of Scarlet throughout the stay too. Scarlet seemed to be living her best life with lots of play time, walks, and sun bathing. Amanda left our home as clean as we had left it - which is always appreciated when returning home from a trip. We cannot thank Amanda enough for taking such great care of Scarlet and for loving on her as if she was her own!”

“Jorden is fantastic! Unbeknownst to us, our puppy Beauregard suffers from separation anxiety and had a gastrointestinal scare. In short: he needed a vet trip. Jorden went above and beyond, taking care of our little guy, coordinating with the vet, administering extra meds, cooking a bland diet for him, and provided a calm and reassuring presence for both us and our dogs. We can't recommend her enough.”

“Thanks so much Meredith for taking care of my dog Pablo while we were away on vacation! It was very comforting to know he was in good hands while we were away. Meredith made my dog very comfortable any ate and drink as usual which is a very tall order when his mommy is gone. Thank you so much”

“This was the first time our 11 yo black mouth cur Delilah had stayed with a sitter. Shelley treated Delilah like her own! Lots of attention and extra care. We received pics and updates throughout the stay. Shelley ended up dropping off Delilah at our home. As Shelley was leaving, Delilah ran to her to say goodbye! Clearly Delilah gives Shelley 5 barks too! We’ve already rebooked.”

“Courtney was amazing with my cats. She was very attentive to them and kept me updated everyday on their wellbeing. It was a great comfort to know they were well taken care of as I do not leave them often. Thank you so much Courtney for loving on them so well!”

“Lucia - Did an excellent job of caring for our 2 pups & our home for the weekend. She took them on a much appreciated walk, brought in our packages & gave one pup his meds with no issues. We highly recommend Lucia, a kind & caring person.”

“Kennan did an amazing job watching my baby girl. Her roommate Andy couldn’t be anymore helpful. Because of they, my dog eye looked great when we came back from our trip. This is the first time someone has ever watched our dog and the eye did not become red. Our dog warmed up fast to her and she does not do that often. I would trust Kennan with my dog in the future and her communication is spot on!”

“Russell stayed with our dog Joan over a holiday weekend while we had a getaway. She quickly acclimated to him after only having met him once. Russell did a great job communicating with us and following my painfully detailed instructions. He also sent photos, which we love. When we returned home the house was in perfect order and Joan, though excited to see us quickly calmed and was clearly well cared for. We plan to have Russell watch Joan again in the very near future!”

“Alyssa was great with our quirky pup and our lively lively little kitten. Our pup has terrible separation anxiety and usually refuses to eat for the first day or so but Alyssa was able to win him over quickly and he starting eating right away. Eventually, he even requested belly rubs which is a huge show of trust. Alyssa helped calm our fears by giving us regular updates with pics and videos. She was awesome! We will definitely book with Alyssa again.”

“Thanks to Luke for taking great care of our three pups while we were traveling. Appreciate the in house overnight care and attention he gave to all our dogs, including our senior guy who needs some special attention. Highly recommended”

“Rebecca was very attentive and willing to assist me in a pinch. She stayed overnight while I was out of state, and managed my pup & house without any error. She is very detail oriented, and even put together a list of ideas / recommendations I can add into my routine / house for the pup. She went out of her way to buy toys, etc. Great!”

About: I’m new to rover but I’ve been petsitting on other websites and have great reviews I can share :) I have always been a cat lover. I’ve almost always had a cat living with me, and when I don’t I do Petsitting or visit cat cafes. Cats are magical angels here to comfort us all. More recently I love dogs too! I’ve been sitting dogs the past 2 years and have come to understand them better. Sometimes larger dogs can be a lot for me to handle, but I’m stronger than I look ;) I also love to take photos, and chances are, if I'm sitting or walking for you, you'll end up with some beautiful photos of your pets :) Let me know if you're interested in having photo check ins! I am a freelancer and don’t work 40 hours most weeks. I have a flexible schedule and I love getting outside and spending time with animals during the day. Pets are a part of the family so I make sure they’re happiest however I can do that. I’m pretty tidy on my own so I don’t mind doing clean up or organizing if you desire. I take care of plants too :)

“Payton was amazing! She took such great care of our Rocky and just our home generally while we were gone over Christmas. Highly recommend Payton and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all types and ages since I was a teenager, but mostly for my deployed coworkers for the past 7 years. Dogs and Cats are not all I take care of either, reptiles, fish and other animals are also welcome! I am currently available full time for rover so I can adapt to whatever routine your pets need. I’d love to establish new routines for pets who need services on a regular basis Whether your pet is in a kennel or rams your home, you can trust me to take care of them however you need by following any already established routines and rules in your own home.

“Stephanie did an excellent job in taking care of our pups & our home. She is very outgoing and friendly and put our feisty chiweinie at ease right away. Our other dog followed her around the entire time. We will definitely book her again soon!”

About: I grew up with dogs and adopted my first dog 15 years ago. I met my wife who had her own dog and expanded our doggie family. We then adopted three more dogs over the years. Our dogs have been well trained by Sit Means Sit. I create my own schedule as a business owner. I am ready to work around your schedule and pet care needs. Ready, Set, Let's Go! I am very cognizant of the weather and watching your pets for any signs of distress. Just like people, good exercise, water and food is essential care. A clean environment is a must!

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life—dogs, cats, birds, a snake, a bearded dragon, a turtle, hamsters… you name it! These days, I share my home with dogs, chickens, and some very vocal guinea fowl. As a freelance illustrator, I have the flexibility to give your pets the attention and love they deserve. I’ve even illustrated two books featuring a dog and a cat, so animals aren’t just in my life—they’re in my art! I’m comfortable caring for pets who need daily medication, too. My own dog had epilepsy, so I understand how important it is to follow routines and give meds with care and calm. Whether your pet needs a playmate, a snuggle buddy, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to help—and excited to meet them! My schedule is super flexible! I work from home as an illustrator, so I’m around most of the day—perfect for keeping your pets company. On weekdays, I just step out briefly to pick up my son from the bus stop. My own pets are well cared for by my family while I focus fully on yours, whether that means daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship. Your pet’s safety is everything to me. I live on a 1-acre property with a fenced yard and a doggy door for easy access—perfect for pets who are comfortable roaming close. For those who need more supervision, I’m always nearby to ensure they’re safe and happy. I’m extremely protective of animals and will go above and beyond to keep them safe (I’ve even removed a rat snake from my chicken coop—your pet is in good hands!). I’ve rescued lost dogs and helped reunite them with their families, and once even saved a duck with a fishing hook stuck in it. I’m patient with every pet, from wild little wigglers to slow-moving seniors. Whether they need gentle care or a bit of extra attention, I’ll treat them like my own—with love, calm, and total dedication.
