Upon meeting her it was apparent she’s a pup-lover, and we especially like the fact she favors smaller pups. Katy surprised and delighted us with occasional updates during the stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience…for sure we will return.”

“Lucia was a wonderful pet sitter. I would not hesitate to use her again and would recommend her to anyone else who wants a thoughtful and kind person to take care of their pet.”

“Caleb did a good job of taking care of CoCo last minute and made sure he had food and water . However, we agreed on arrival between 2pm and 4pm, and he did not arrive until after 5pm, which caused me to worry about CoCo. He also brought someone else into the home without giving me a heads up, which made me uncomfortable.”

“Leigh took great care of our 4 cats. She took a lot of notes and made sure she had all the information needed on each cat upon her initial visit. The pictures during her visits while we were away were nice to see and she always replied quickly to messages. The cats were well cared for and I am grateful!”
“Nicole took great care of our cat. We had her drop in on him when we were on vacation. She’s very easy to communicate with and responsive to messages. Would definitely hire her again.”

“Susan did a great job of taking care of our two cats while we were away for the week. Having never met her before, the cats warmed up to her quickly and she was good with communication with us and left everything in great shape when we got back. We would definitely recommend Susan and will choose her to pet sit again.”

“Came home to a very happy kitty and it was so easy to communicate with Nicholas. He also was very flexible with adding a last minute visit when we were delayed coming home. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

I currently have no job, and will be free to watch your pets any time, and don’t plan on working another full time job for a while, so I should be free whenever :) I can take your pet on walks, of course feed them, you may catch me and them becoming best friends, and I’ll make sure your pets have the best time of their life!

About: Hi, I’m Paige. I’m 39 years old and a homeschooling mom of two (ages 11 and 9). My children may accompany me on visits, but I am solely responsible for all pet care and supervision. We currently have two cats, a hamster, and a dog named Ted. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life. My family also helps a local farm feed and care for their animals on a monthly basis — it’s something we genuinely look forward to and enjoy being part of. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust when you’re away. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, or extra attention while you’re gone, I treat every pet with the same care and thoughtfulness I give my own. I grew up in the country surrounded by animals. Over the years, I’ve helped care for cattle, horses, goats, buffalo, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and even sugar gliders. Animals have always been part of my life, and their well-being has always been a priority. Puppies are welcome and will receive patient, attentive, and loving care. Medication Experience I am comfortable administering oral medications, eye ointments, and injections. I have experience caring for a diabetic cat and understand the importance of consistency and attentiveness when managing medical needs. As a homeschool family, I have flexibility during the week to incorporate pet care into our routine while maintaining a structured schedule. Visits are planned thoughtfully to ensure reliable and consistent care. Advance notice is appreciated, as same-day requests are generally unavailable. Weekly Availability: • Monday – Not Available (Early morning emergencies only) • Tuesday – Not Available (Late evening emergencies only) • Wednesday – 11:00am–2:00pm • Thursday – 6:00am–9am • Friday – Available (please message to confirm availability) • Saturday – Available (please message to confirm availability) • Sunday – Available (please message to confirm availability) I will ask that we have a meet-and-greet prior to booking for all first time clients. This allows us to review your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, walking preferences, and any specific instructions to ensure consistent, reliable care. For safety and comfort, I’m unable to accept dogs with a bite history, aggressive tendencies, or dogs that are not comfortable around children. My goal is to provide a calm, attentive, and loving environment where pets feel secure and truly loved, and owners feel confident leaving them in my care.

I am so sure they will continue to look around for her! I would absolutely love having Erica petsit our cats again!”

“Carla took amazing care of my cat while I was on vacation recently. Tipsy was well cared for and loved. Carla also went above and beyond, bringing in my mail and putting my trash cans out without being asked. Will definitely hire her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Alena — a mom of four wonderful children, a travel enthusiast, and a lifelong animal lover. I grew up surrounded by pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs, and spent much of my childhood wishing I could be Dr. Dolittle. For more than a decade, I shared my home with three cats, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience caring for animals of all ages and temperaments. I previously fostered dogs through Austin Pets Alive and have spent many vacations caring for pets through TrustedHousesitters. I’m comfortable administering prescription medications to both cats and dogs, as well as handling basic grooming needs. Today, I share my home with two cats and two dogs. For the comfort and safety of all pets, my dogs live separately from any boarding guests. Boarding dogs stay on the upper floor and do not interact with my pets. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets, get to know their unique personalities, and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible work schedule, so I’m available to board your pet any day of the week. I would love to take your dogs for a walk, too! For boarding, I provide a safe space and a pet bed in my bedroom, separately from my own pets. Dogs have free reign in the fenced backyard and enjoy walks around the neighborhood twice a day, ranging from 10 min to 2 hours, depending on their needs.
“Judy saved the day and helped us with our puppy. My puppy loves her and her 2 dogs are so kind and patient. She even helped with potty training. I highly recommend Judy.”

I know how important it is to keep them active, happy, and engaged.

About: Choosing a dog sitter is about more than availability - it is about trust. As a veteran and recently retired elementary school teacher, and someone with over 5 years of hands-on pet sitting experience; my life has been rooted in responsibility, patience and attentive care. Both careers have shaped me to be punctual, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to the well being of those in my care. My background in education allows me to be especially patient and attentive to behavior cues. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior or needs a little reassurance, I provide steady, kind and consistent care. Additionally, my husband is a medical provider, who works from home, so administering medications or supporting pets with medical needs is something we are comfortable and confident handling. If your dog requires extra attention or specialized care, you can feel at ease that extra support is readily available. My goal is simple: for you to leave and feel completely confident - and return to a happy, well cared for dog. A Day in Our Care When pets stay in our home, their comfort, safety and routine are my top priorities. Morning Our day begins with a gentle transition into the morning - potty break in our fully fenced in yard, fresh water, and breakfast served according to your pet's normal schedule. Morning walks are unhurried and tailored to your dog's pace and needs. After their walk, pets enjoy playtime or relaxed companionship settling in for a short mid-morning nap. Midday Midday includes supervised outdoor time in our fenced yard, and intentional play sessions suited to your dog's energy level. I stay attentive and fully present. Afternoons & Evenings Afternoons may include another walk, light structured playtime, or peaceful companionship depending on your pet's needs. I balance activity with downtime to prevent overstimulation. Dinner is served according to your instructions. Evenings in our home are peaceful and predictable, helping pets feel settled and secure. Nighttime Pets sleep in a safe and comfortable space aligned with what they are used to at home. My goal is for them to feel relaxed, safe and truly at ease. My home offers something many cannot - I intentionally create a calm, structured, nurturing environment so they feel secure from the moment they arrive. I do not believe in simply "watching" dogs - I believe in actively caring for them in a way that makes them feel safe, understood and secure. With me, your pet is not one of many. They are thoughtfully cared for with close supervision, balanced activity, and genuine affection. If you are looking for reliable, attentive and experienced care; where your pet's routine, comfort and well being truly come first - my home is designed for that.

About: I’ve babysat and taken care of a blue heeler for the past few summers, but the kid is old enough now to take care of himself and his dog! I have a 10 yr old maltipoo who has a few medical conditions, so I’m great with giving medication along with food. I love to walk and try to walk at least 8 miles everyday, so I’d love to walk your dog! I currently don’t have a job, so I’m really available any time of the day. I’d be more than happy to stay for however long you’d like and play with them! Since my dog is little, I usually carry her outside just because of other animals that are sometimes out because she likes to chase them (foxes, deer, vultures). When I walk her, I’m very aware of cars passing by or other large dogs that might scare her.

About: I didn’t set out to become a dog sitter; it just happened naturally. A friend needed help with their dog, then a neighbor, then a coworker. Ten years later, I’m still doing it, and still loving every minute of it. What I’ve learned from caring for dozens of dogs over the years is that every single one is different. Some need a lot of stimulation and adventure. Some need calm reassurance and a gentle hand. I’ve worked with big dogs and tiny ones, young puppies and senior pups, social butterflies and dogs who take a while to warm up. The ones who take a while to warm up are honestly my favorites. I treat every home I enter and every dog I care for with the same respect and attention I’d want for my own. You’ll always know how your dog is doing. I send photos and updates throughout every visit because I know that’s what matters most when you’re away. My sweet spot is Wednesday evenings through the weekend, that’s when I’m most available and love filling my schedule with new pups! I’m flexible and quick to respond, so if you’re not sure whether I’m free, just message me. Chances are, I can make it work! Good news, I come to you! All of my services take place in your home, which means your pup never has to leave their safe space. I bring the love, you provide the couch. During house sits, your dog runs the show; furniture, bed, all of it is fair game. I’m there to make sure they feel like nothing has changed, just with a new best friend temporarily in charge. I handle medication, special routines, anxious personalities, and everything in between without batting an eye. Your home gets treated like my own tidy, respected, and exactly how you left it. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I know where the nearest 24-hour vets in Austin are and will always prioritize your dog’s safety. The bottom line? Your dog will be so comfortable they might not even miss you. Almost.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was very young. I would house sit for my neighbors until I was old enough to volunteer. I volunteered at an animal shelter where I would bathe, train, and walk dogs. As well as play with the cats as well! I have a dog who I take on two walks a day and play with other pups when we can! I live in an apartment, but I can house a crate as well or block them off if needed. I also have a crate for my dog as well. As of now I am a chiropractor with flexible work hours. I have a dog myself and I always make sure to take him on long walks and get him out and about! I can easily crate your dog as needed! I do not have a yard but I do constantly take them out on leash! I also have a turf area in my apartment and a dog park near by!

“Stephanie and her family were so welcoming to my puppy. She had a wonderful time running around, exploring, playing and cuddling. I received lots of photos and updates to let me know that she was a happy girl. I am grateful.”

“Lily is a very responsible and responsible person to take a care of your dogs. We had a very pleasant first experience with Rover with her and look forward to booking more stays with her. She is nearby our home and convenient for drop off and pickups. Our pups seem happy and content with their time there.”

“Patrick was really patient with (Sarge) my bloodhound and kept me updated with photos and texts. Sarge wasn’t feeling well and Patrick took good care of him! Thank you again for keeping Sarge company while I was gone!”

“Great communication. She took care of our dogs like they were her own. She definitely has a gift for caretaking. This was my 2nd time using her services and I will book again”

“Carla and the family were simply the best - always communicating, sending updates and photos, while caring for our pup like he was one of their own. Norbert was cared for so well and enjoyed being loved while making new puppy friends! We felt so comfortable having him in such caring hands for our first Rover experience and know that future trips are possible with an extension of Norbert's family being grown to these wonderful peoples. Thanks for being awesome, Carla and family!”

“Mercedes did a great job with our energetic puppy, Doug. He came back with a couple new tricks and he went on adventures with them while we were gone. We will definitely use Mercedes again!”

“Chuck was very accommodating, flexible and a great sitter for my Lab. He communicated well, provided frequent photos and updates, and gave insightful recommendations and feedback. I would highly recommend his services.”

“Yisel and Victor are awesome! There was great communication, they were very accommodating, and I really appreciated the picture and videos. I look forward to booking their services again!”

“Nikki did a fantastic job taking care of our dog. Would HIGHLY recommend her. It was our first time leaving our 7mo old puppy so we weren’t sure how he would do. Nikki and her dogs took great care of him and he had a blast. Kept us updated with frequent photos and videos as well.”

“Erik and his wife did an amazing job watching our Husky! They sent me multiple pictures and videos of him at the dog park at their apartment complex and the walks they went on. They were very fast to respond to my initial inquiry and also were very communicative during our dog’s stay. If we ever need an Austin pet sitter, we will be utilizing them again!!”

“Maura and Shawn took amazing care of our girl! They have an awesome yard and made sure she had plenty of activity. They also sent lots of updates / super cute photos. We were so comfortable knowing she was in great hands - it looked like she had a very fun filled weekend with them. We will definitely book again.”
