I am gracious as leaving an older dog on sudden notice is so stressful and I know that she was a great relief to our family as we did what we needed to do! I am so appreciative! About: I’m a zookeeper at the Denver zoo and I’ve been taking care of exotics and domestics since I was a child. I’ve been in the zoo field for almost seven years and grew up on a ranch with horses, cattle, dogs and cats in Texas. I have a full time job at the zoo, but I get off rather early and my afternoons and evenings are relatively open. I am a morning person, so getting up before work is also no problem. I have a fenced yard for my two older dogs, Hank and Daphne. They are indoor/outdoor dogs, weather dependent. They constantly have access to beds, water and food. My cats are indoor, with supervision outdoors so they can stretch and enjoy some sunshine.
